Fantastic experience: Visited this dentist for the first time last week and saw Emma Ross and her nurse Sophie. I have to say that I had probably THE most thorough check up ive ever had.(The last dentist I visited gave me all of 5 minutes of his time) Emma made me feel very much at ease and detailed everything she had checked and shared the results with me, I also had xrays which she went through with me, explaining everything the xrays showed up. I would highly recommend choosing Lockerbie Dentist and a big thankyou to Emma who was friendly and professional.

Fantastic experience: I saw Hassan for a filling and his nurse Emmie was helping. It was the first time I’ve ever had an injection that didn’t hurt at all! Hassan really reassured me, so I didn’t feel nervous, and now my tooth feels so much better. I feel calm and confident about my next appointment.

Fantastic experience: After nearly three years under Lockerbie Dental Orthodontics Practice for Invisalign, I have officially been discharged today! I cannot thank everyone at Lockerbie Dental enough for their time, care and dedication. They go above and beyond and their level of care is exceptional. Fantastic experience: I recently saw Hassan, the dental therapist, for gum treatment, assisted by his dental nurse Emmie – and honestly, it was the most amazing experience. I’m usually quite anxious at the dentist, but Hassan explained everything step by step in a way that completely reassured me. He never made me feel rushed, took the time to make sure I understood each stage, and kept me calm throughout. Emmie was also so supportive and professional, which made the whole appointment feel even more comfortable. Hassan and Emmie are a fantastic team – they communicate so well and speak to each other with such politeness and respect, which is really lovely to see. Because of this experience, I now feel confident enough to take on the challenge of more advanced treatment and really focus on improving my teeth. I’m genuinely grateful for the care and kindness I received.

Fantastic experience: A great Hygiene visit with Rebecca and Millie yesterday! I felt so comfortable from the start of the treatment to the finish. Rebecca was super gentle and extremely informative!

Positive experience: As a very nervous patient I avoid going to the dentist at any chance .I became a patient of Dr Shiekh and Nurse Lauren and I must take this opportunity to say that could not have been in more reassuring hands I was a complete ease So I must say thank you both very much and I will be recommending you all my family and friends

Negative experience: Change appointment times without asking. Never run on time. Most recently 45 minutes late for an appointment for a young child.

Fantastic experience: Once again a truely professional experience on my recent visit to Lockerbie dental. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. Special mention to my dentist Maria Tavares and my dental nurse Sophie who gave outstanding treatment during my visit. As a NHS patient care is fantastic.

Fantastic experience: I visited yesterday to have the final stage of my smile makeover completed with composite bonding by Pav and Lauren. I was made to feel extremely comfortable and consulted thoroughly to ensure I was happy with what we had planned. Lauren reassured me throughout the procedure and the final results are fantastic! My teeth have always been an issue for me and I finally have a smile I can be proud of! Thank you Pav & Lauren. I would highly recommend using Lockerbie dental to anyone I know.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient of Dr. Raeed Sheikh for 5 years and the treatment given by him and the rest of the team has been top- notch. Carol, the Dental hygienist who I see every 3 months is excellent and all the nurses are friendly, caring and understanding as I do have an issue with gagging which made me unable to tolerate X-rays being taken in the chair. However, Dr. Sheikh has been so calm and patient that my phobia seems to be cured. Yesterday, I left the surgery following Implant Surgery performed by Dr. Sheikh and assisted all the way through the past 6 months by Nurse Sophie and I cannot speak highly enough of my treatment, which was not easy for me, and I am so delighted with my new tooth! I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to everyone involved in this course of treatment and I would have no hesitation in recommending Lockerbie Dental.

Fantastic experience: Having recently become a patient of Lockerbie Dental, I cannot praise them enough. Lovely surroundings and extremely helpful staff. My dentist, Dr. Sheikh is kind, reassuring and even though I have had extractions and fillings, I can honestly say, I was surprised each time when he said "All done", his work was virtually painless and extremely well done. I must also praise his Dental Nurse, Sophie, she is such a kind and efficient person and, my being a nervous patient, she gave me constant reassurance throughout.

I’ve been seen by Dr Rehman for all of my appointments who is so polite and friendly! makes me feel so at ease as I’ve always been anxious about going to the dentist. Today myself and my son had our check-up appointments with Dr Rehman and Sophie - they are both very professional, have such a lovely manner and were very patient with my son who’s only 1 year old.

Fantastic experience: I recently had treatment to fit a tooth implant with the work being performed by Dr. Sheikh with the assistance of nurses Sophie and Emma. The procedure took some months to complete but on each visit I was greatly impressed by the care that was taken and the fact that I was always kept informed of progress. Most importantly, it was almost pain free throughout.

Fantastic experience: The team at Lockerbie Dental are fantastic, Especially Ryan and his assistant, They always do an excellent job for me and my family without doubt the Best Dental practice around.

Negative experience: Arrived at Lockerbie Dental to see if I could get dentures, but after seeing Pavan Shah, I was reassured that my worn down teeth could be rebuilt using composite bonding and then I would have partial dentures to replace missing teeth. The initial estimate was £3500-£5000, which I thought wasn't too bad. When I started my treatment, I was told that it would be better to have 3 pins inserted to support the bonding material. This then escalated the price to £7600. I decided to go ahead, thinking that it would be great to have a complete job. However, this wasn't the case, after having the bonding done and root canal treatment, I just had to wait for dentures for my upper and lower jaw. The impressions had been done, but when I returned, I was told that the price only included my upper denture, leaving me with a gap of 7 missing teeth on the bottom jaw. I was told that I could book more appointments (at extra cost) if I wanted this doing. Also, I was told that the composite bonding would cover my whole teeth, whereas I can see the line between my teeth, and where it was added. My disappointment is mainly that I feel he did half of the work, for 50% more than original estimate. Needless to say, I will not be returning for any more work or checkups, as I feel that this would only lead to more extraordinary bills for what should have been done in the first place.

Fantastic experience: I can’t praise the Orthodontic Team highly enough. The care, kindness and efficiency my daughter experienced have been exceptional. Many thanks to the whole team.

Fantastic experience: My daughter has been attending Lockerbie Dental since May 2023. She required braces. Today she had our last visit for a while to get her retainers now that her braces are removed. I don’t think I have ever had service from a Dentist certainly in recent years that has been run so well, so efficiently and so good with my daughter. Every member of the team have been absolutely brilliant nothing has ever been a problem. I would highly recommend this dentist to anyone and reassure anyone with children getting braces that they are absolutely brilliant to work with. Thank you so much team at Lockerbie Dental. Keep up your great work and restore faith in the general public that not all dental care is lost.

Fantastic experience: Carol and the team are just amazing. We travel from Glasgow for my daughters dental appointments. The team and especially Carol are great at explaining everything going on that could be quite daunting for a young child. She loves going to the dentist!

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend this dentist enough, it has a lovely look and feel to it. Staff are so friendly, patient and understanding. Staff take time to explain what is happening to children and parents, allowing children to ask questions. We recently had to have an emergency appointment, my child was very upset and everybody was so caring. From having his trauma and going in upset on Thursday to be sorted and smiling again on the Monday.

Negative experience: Horrible practice. You are seen by new practitioners who clearly don’t have the slightest clue of what they doing and they end up ruining your good teeth. Good looking store but that is all. They don’t take any responsibility about the damage they cause or for bad work done to ur mouth. AVOID IF U CAN

Fantastic experience: After many years of trying to hide a badly stained and wonky front tooth I went to Lockerbie dental practise . Had composite bonding done by Dr Sheikh , he really focused on doing the best job possible and the result was outstanding . The attending dental nurse Lauren was lovely and very professional always making sure I was ok . I wish I’d had it done years ago and any future work I’ll go straight back to Dr sheikh for treatment.

Fantastic experience: I got veneers with Dr Pavan Shah & I couldn’t recommend him or his dental nurse, Kamile, enough. They are patient, explain everything thoroughly & I couldn’t be happier with my new teeth. Best thing I’ve ever done.

Fantastic experience: I attended Lockerbie Dental today for my first appointment as an NHS patient. After filling in the required paperwork I was met by a dental nurse, Lauren, who was very friendly and helpful. She took me through to meet my new dentist who carried out a thorough inspection prior to taking Xrays and descaling my teeth. I was very impressed with the service provided.

Fantastic experience: I have been a nervous patient for most of my life, avoiding visits to the dentists at every opportunity. Earlier this year I registered at Lockerbie Dental as a reluctant new patient. Initial contact and registration was handled efficiently and sensitively by reception staff remaing aware of my anxieties throughout. My ongoing treatment has been overseen by Dr Sheikh and Sophie in such a reassuring and efficient manner that my fear and anxiety levels are now at a very manageable level. I can now say I understand the concept of "painless dentistry" and along with my increased confidence there is even time for moments of humour during my visits. Who would have thought! THANK YOU.

Positive experience: Excellent service. Wheelchair access was a bit difficult steep and slippy ramp although small no electric door or help getting in or out. Staff super friendly though

Negative experience: My very first appointment I was made to wait 30 minutes past my appointment time. Then when I had to cancel an appointment due to having covid, they tried to make me pay for cancellation. If I had a good experience my first time I'd happily pay, but I'm not paying for bad service and making no apology for mistakes.

Having had a previous difficult experience, which left me with some anxiety around dental work, I can’t thank Ryan in particular, enough. Positive experience: Visited dentist last week for a "FREE" NHS checkup, knowing that I required a filling from xray last year. Was expecting to pay the £250 for a composite filling, but was surprised when paying the deposit there was an extra charge of £15.68 with some excuse of information on dental hygiene, which I never asked for or needed. I have since had the filling and was very pleased with the dentist, work and care taken. Just annoyed at the extra charge.

I have been having trouble with one tooth for years and Dentist Tashfeen has managed to fix it in the first week of being a patient herself and Hygienist Carol have also noticed some issues on my teeth that my previous dentist had not picked up on in the last 15 year of having me as a patient so I'm very happy to now be at Lockerbie Dental.

Fantastic experience: I saw Dr Audrey today, as a very nervous patient she put me at ease massively.Due to her thorough questions she managed to give me treatment with zero pain, which I have never experienced previously. The attending dental nurse was also lovely and very reassuring. The team at Lockerbie are all incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Fantastic experience: Positive experience - my dentist referred me to Audrey Kershaw, who has over 30 years of experience in oral surgery. I was seen within a week or so of my referral. Tooth extraction was pain free and super quick - I was shocked that it was over so quickly! Audrey was very professional and explained everything thoroughly. All of the team were super friendly and Operations Manager Lynsey Henderson was really helpful. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I came to Lockerbie dental petrified of the dentist after a bad experience over 20 years ago. I had lost my front tooth and masks were no longer a requirement after covid so I had no option. Ryan was fantastic, put me right at ease, removed 2 teeth, (i didn't feel a thing) and fitted my plate. The dental nurses and receptionists are lovely and friendly but the star of the practice for me is CAROL! she is just the best hygienist, I was so scared on my first visit but Carol, her assistant and a little help from Ed Sheeran got me through and I now have, the perfect (to me) smile. I visit Carol every 3 months and we always have a right giggle with my twitching nose....don't ask!! I honestly couldn't recommend Lockerbie dental enough. thank you for restoring my faith and most of all for giving me back my smile and for all the giggles...see you in August xxxx

Fantastic experience: Going to the dentist was always a fear of mine until I found Lockerbie Dental. The reception staff are are amazing, they text and phone you to remind you of your appointment or to inform you of any changes, this and at the counter on arrival at the practice is done in an extremely friendly manner putting you at ease from the get go. You are the called into your appointment by the dentist themselves, again with a cheerful manner putting you further at ease. They always enquire as to your overall welfare etc before they start. They always fully expect exactly what they are going to do on that day then start treatment. They are very professional in their approach and I have never experienced hurt and I've had 5 extractions and numerous fillings and the dentist checks on your wellbeing all the time. You then go back out to the cheerful receptionist's who take payment due, book any other appointments necessary and wish you well on departure. Fantastic experience: As an extremely nervous patient l recently visited Lockerbie Dental and had work carried out by both Dr Audrey Kershaw and Yasir. Both were able to put me at ease and l was able to have a Wisdom tooth removed without sedation, which l had previously thought was my only option, and a repair to a front tooth both of which l had been putting off for a great deal of time All staff in the practice were welcoming and the practice itself is a calm environment

Fantastic experience: I love coming to Lockerbie dental and I’m supposed to hate the dentist! I started my orthodontic treatment around a year ago now and the service I have received is fantastic! All the staff are very friendly and chatty, I have also noticed they make an effort to remember patients names before checking them in on the computer. I’d like to make a special mention of Tammy who started me off with my braces and let me have an informed choice of which brace to go for and always sends me a message about a week after my appointment to see how I’m doing. I’d also like to mention Tasha, who at my last hygiene appointment was run off of her feet that Saturday but still made sure that I was seen to in a reasonable time and kept me informed about my appointment. She made me feel at ease whilst having my hygiene appointment which I’m not a big fan of! I really appreciate that staff at Lockerbie dental!

Fantastic experience: Had my wisdom tooth and one other out last week through a referral with Audrey, I am quite a nervous patient but she reassured me throughout the process and explained everything as she went along.
