Fantastic experience: My 7 year old had to have 3 teeth out under sedation and the dentist, Ryan , was amazing . totally put my son at ease and made him laugh through the process and he didnt even realise that he had taken them out.

Negative experience: Update September 2025: While I've generally had good treatment here in the past, recently had a checkup and told a filling was needed, and that when I come back I can simply tell him whether I want a white or a composite grey filling. I thought fine. When I returned, upon sitting in the chair he proceeded to tell me he's putting in a composite grey filling and started the treatment. I quickly asked him if that's right... And he said yes. I felt rushed so couldn't say no. He was deciding on my treatment! The filling wasn't great either and didn't resolve the issue I had. The standards are slipping at this dental practice...when I've always had no issue before. Time to seek another dentists! I do not recommend.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic clinic, Ryan wa so good and calm with my son talking to him about (fornite and Minecraft) he was so nervous he normally refusing to get in the chair within half an hour he was in finished and had 3 teeth removed I am so grateful.

Been coming to this dentist for years wouldn’t go anywhere else Receptionists are very welcoming and go out of there way to help you. Negative experience: My partner has just arrived home from this clinic after a double tooth extraction 'under sedation,' in tears as he remembers the second tooth being removed and feeling the pain... trying to tell them to stop but being unable to. It sounds to me as though he woke up half way through the procedure. I phoned the clinic initially to ask why he wasn't given any antibiotics or pain relief and the lady explained... thats fine, no problem, I then proceeded to explain that id like to put in a complaint In regards to him feeling the the procedure etcetera.. and her response was "he will get amnesia, he wont remember it tomorrow." First of all, amnesia is a 'common side effect,' it is not a guarantee. Secondly, that is not the point, he essentially woke up and felt everything half way through which is a problem when he came for a sedation to avoid experiencing things that could exacerbate his fear and anxiety of the dentist. I will be making a formal complaint.

Positive experience: Staff were polite I arrived earlier then my appointment time and had to wait outside until they opened being retired now you don’t get help with the costs if you’re two pounds over the benefits so it can be expensive I don’t like needles in mouth and finding someone to escort me is hard I don’t get on with the jet wash while ‍⚕️ drilling etc I choke alot the dentist is aware and understands in short i survived be safe without prejudice

Negative experience: Knew I had a braces appointment 6 days after I was to have my fillings but decided not to administer all my fillings after already spreading the fillings across two different appointments. This is so inconvenient and is causing me a great deal of stress as I have to go through the sedation process for a third time which was not what I was originally told and I also won’t be able to get my braces which I’ve been preparing for for two months

Fantastic experience: My 7 year old daughter had 2 teeth taken out 2 weeks ago by dentist Ryan!!! Amazing, Ryan and his helpers were excellent. The help I had booking the appointment from Nicole on reception was fantastic. We did have to wait a long time for the appointment but that’s on the nhs. I literally could not thank Ryan enough for making my daughter feel as happy as possible at a stressful time for her! Highly recommend! Thank you again.

Positive experience: Always busy the good thing about ot is that it's always clean and tidy ,it doesn't smell of anything when you enter ,the bad thing is that they never answered the phone even when I was there waiting for them to call me the phone was ringing and tinging and the 2 ladies where talking to each other ignoring the phone completely, so if you need an appointment you need to come to the clinic to make it there .

Negative experience: I’ve used the surgery previously however the service is well below average which has made me transfer to another dentist. Receptionists can be rude when presented with an unusual query and hang up when flustered. Practice manager you need to improve things fast please. It’s your job to provide a good service !
