From the moment I stepped through the door, I was met with a warm and welcoming environment that instantly put me at ease. The clinic itself is spotless, modern, and clearly well-maintained, which immediately gave me confidence in the quality of care they provide. Their use of electronic systems is seamless – from booking and form completion to how my data was securely and efficiently stored. It’s clear that they have fully embraced digital systems to enhance the patient journey. What really stood out, though, was the ethos that runs through the entire practice. Every single member of staff I interacted with was professional, kind, and clearly passionate about what they do. They took the time to get to know me, understand my concerns, and go through every detail of my assessment with care and patience. Nothing felt rushed or brushed over. They explained each step of the process clearly and in a way that was easy to understand, which really helped reduce my anxiety. The follow-up and aftercare have also been excellent. I left the appointment feeling informed, reassured, and genuinely cared for – something I’ve rarely experienced in a healthcare setting. Positive experience: I have been a patient of this company since it was based at Shelly Manor (approx 15 years if not longer). Dr Tim is a marvellous dentist and has treated me for many, many years, he has a calming nature and puts you at ease. Since moving to Southbourne Grove his business is doing very well, bright and airy surroundings makes the environment calming. Staff are always happy to help you and out people at ease if they are feeling nervous or anxious. The only slight issue is that appointments never run on time and this is the reason I have given a 4 star rating. Otherwise I could not fault the service offered by this dental practice.

Fantastic experience: I’ve just been to visit this dentist, I’m not a patient (yet) but my front crown fell out and my own NHS dentist couldn’t fit me for two weeks which is not ideal. I went in to see the guys at Dentistry on the grove and they couldn’t have been more helpful or friendly, the dentist Amy felt sorry for me I think and delayed her lunch to sort out my problem. Amazing service and much better than my other dentist, I’ll be looking at joining after this positive experience. Fantastic experience: I have been attending this dentist when it was a small family run business at Shelly Manor Dentistry. It is still a family run business and apart from it expanding and moving to Southbourne Grove in it's amazingly airy, bright and salubrious surroundings, it has still kept it's warm welcoming family appeal. Every single member of staff seem to treat it as if it were their own private practice, from the receptionist all the way through to the dentist's, hygienist's and surgery assistants. The surgery is spotless, the staff are all professional, informative, polite and caring. Some people may say it is a little expensive, but what isn't at the moment. The difference here is, you actually pay for what you get....... AN ALL ROUND QUALITY SERVICE! I for one, will never have to look for another dentist. Thanks to the owners and the staff at Dentistry On The Grove in Southbourne. Normally, I would name names, but on this occasion I don't thing it would be fair, because they are all amazing individuals and as a team.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient at dentistry on the grove for 5 years or so. I started as a terribly nervous patient, who required a lot of resoritive treatment. I first met Tim who has an incredible level of expertise and an ability to make you feel calm and confident in his work. I required numerous fillings, root canals, a few extractions, which can be quite intense for a nervous patient but it didn't take long to feel at ease in the chair. After all this, i moved on to see the amazing Amy and start work on getting my perfect smile with clear aligners. Amy is an absolute credit to the practice, she provides exceptional care, has a great level of expertise and is very attentive. The practice really raise the bar and provide a premium level of dentistry.

Fantastic experience: We have followed Tracey having been her patients in the New Forest for some 20 years. She is personable, professional and extremely skilled at her job. Her surgery is large, airy and light. Tracey and her Nurse Ashra are very welcoming and personable. The Dentistry on the Grove practice is well run, the premises are clean and roomy and the receptionists are very warm and welcoming. We cannot recommend this practice too highly!

Fantastic experience: Friendly staff , lovely facilities , professional approach. You get what you pay for it comes at a cost. Hence, they deliver an excellent service. Tim - the owner my personal dentist - is a brilliant dentist I fully recommend this dentist. We always have a long standing joke when ever I visit I might need the odd dreaded injection to carry out dental work. We call this "Numb numbs". Seriously though all in all super dentistry.

Fantastic experience: I had an extreme fear of the dentist and hadn’t gone in several years with past experiences being horrific. I ended up with a gum infection which forced me to make an appointment, after hearing good things about dentistry on the grove I decided to try there. I’m so glad I did! They were all so kind and patient with me, and I’m telling you I was very difficult but they all knew exactly what to do to calm me and all my appointments went really well all the check ups, periodontal cleaning and normal hygienist appointments. If you’re nervous of the dentist please give this one a chance, they have helped me so much and my teeth and gums are healthier than ever. Can’t thank them all enough.

Fantastic experience: Excellent experience at the dental surgery both yesterday 17 December 2019 and today 18 December 2019. Tuesday: Check-up, care to denture. I was seen on time. During the consultation my concerns were addressed fully with understanding, patience and sound advice. I was advised to visit the Hygienist. Today (Wed) Hygienist was thorough and most of all gentle and understanding. I'm a coward and as a result had neglected my teeth over some years. I've been attending Shelley Manor Dental Practice for 12 years and actually look forward to my dental visits. Thank you for your care.

She explained everything, and did a fantastic job preserving a fractured tooth I had assumed would need extracting. I had a superb dentist and hygienist in London but I have to say that this practice tops that. Fantastic experience: I am a new patient at this clinic and I attended for a replacement filling following my initial examination a short while previously. Reception is very friendly and efficient and Tim the dentist took great care with the replacement. It was painless and quick and I am very pleased with the composite filling. I am certainly happy with the move to this practice and would recommend them.

I cannot put into words what an absolutely lovely soul Dr Amy Baers is. She is so calming that you are immediately put at ease and her touch is so gentle that you continue to be at ease whilst having treatment. I thoroughly recommend her and especially if you are at all nervous. Nifty camera’s are able to show you any damage, with potential issues discussed, leaving you feeling assured you are receiving the best advice.

They’ve recently moved from Shelley manor to an amazing new practice on Southbourne grove, which looks fantastic and it’s spotlessly clean! I went for a checkup today and Mel was as friendly and helpful as she always is, makes you feel really comfortable and relaxed, she always has time to answer any questions you have. Fab dentist! I saw my hygienist Sheelam last month and she’s also excellent, I’ve always been fairly nervous when it comes to the hygienist but Sheelam is extremely gentle and always checks in with you to make sure you’re comfortable. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Fantastic experience: Between Sheelam the Hygienist and my Dentist, Mel, and me actually listening to their recommendations to maintain tooth and gum health .... my teeth sensitivity and gum condition have improved and are now easier to maintain.

Fantastic experience: I have been patient of this Dental clinic since September last year, had already 2 check ups and 2 dental hygienes and have to say that I am very happy with service I have received so far. My Dentist Amy Baers is very nice, patient, gentle and always explains everything to me. Last time I had dental hygiene done by Sheelam Chaudhary and she did such an amazing job that I felt my teeth were whitened, not just cleaned. Also, the athmosphere is very welcoming, receptionists are very nice and helpful. Waiting room looks like from some 5* hotel, brilliant. Fantastic job, I would recommend to anyone :)

Positive experience: This is a really great practice with excellent staff. I have been a patient for several years, before they relocated to their lovely new premises. I would have happily given them 5 stars but unfortunately the airflow machine has been out of order on my last two visits to the hygienist. This is not the cheapest private practice in the area but I am prepared to pay for a premium service. If airflow is not available (I was told that the machine needs to be replaced) then perhaps the price of the session with the hygienist should be discounted?
