Fantastic experience: Dr. Darius Sair is an absolute master of his craft. I'm 72 so I've seen a few. Qualities: Very caring and gentle. He explains what is happening,or happened to all areas of your mouth and can show you on a screen. He instills confidence and has transformed my mouth. Darius and his whole team engage with you, and are very attentive and thoughtful.

Negative experience: the worst clinic I have ever been to.. no professionalism but only wasteful spending… it cost me £500 to have 1 tooth extracted without a consultation and if I went again I would have to pay again to see how my tooth was progressing… horrible. I booked an appointment for my oral hygiene after 3 days and left a £40 deposit and called them to reschedule the appointment because I was still in pain from the extracted tooth and they told me I had to pay the deposit again.. so friends think before you go because this is just a money grab

Fantastic experience: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ If I could give Market Street Dental 10 stars and a crown (pun intended), I would! Let me start by confessing something truly shameful… I’m almost 40 and I’ve been dodging the dentist like it was a trap set by Voldemort. The last time I regularly saw a dentist, I was 16, and it left me so traumatised that I’ve only darkened the door of a dental clinic two or three times since. (And even then, it was under duress and possibly with a bribe involved.) But this year, after reading that bad dental hygiene can affect your heart (rude!), I decided it was time to face my fears like a grown-up... and drag the whole family along with me. Enter Dr. Reza Aria, the real MVP. Reza now knows me as a full-blown dental drama queen. I don’t just get nervous—I go full fight-or-flight, complete with a full-body sweat at the sight of the chair. (Yes, just the chair. Not even the tools. Just the chair.) But Reza? The man deserves a sainthood. He’s calm, kind, and never pushy—just honest, which is essential, because if he ever lied to “reassure” me, I’d never trust him again and probably fake my own death to avoid future appointments. Instead, he tells it straight, with a gentle tone that almost makes you forget he’s about to poke around your mouth with sharp instruments. Earlier this week, I popped in for a routine check-up (look at me being responsible!) and mentioned that Simin, the hygienist, had suggested getting my wisdom teeth out. Reza referred me that day, and by the very next morning I got a call—there’d been a cancellation. By Tuesday afternoon, all four of those little gremlins were out. I didn’t even have time to change my mind. The universe had clearly teamed up with Market Street Dental to stage an ambush before I could run. Now let’s talk about Simin the hygienist. I don’t want to start any rumours, but I’m pretty sure she might be the actual Tooth Fairy. I’ve had three hygienist appointments with her this year, and I swear my teeth have never looked better. At my last appointment (an hour-long session that I had worked myself into a full-on pre-trauma state about), she casually asked, “Would you like a numbing injection?” Excuse me… that’s an option? Why was I not told this years ago?! YES, SIMIN. NUMB ME. She even numbed the area before the injection so I didn’t feel a thing. Honestly, if she’d handed me a blanket and cued up Netflix, I might’ve fallen asleep right there in the chair. That’s how relaxed I was. I’m actually looking forward to my next hygienist appointment—which is a sentence I never thought I’d say in my life. But she’s too good, so I don’t need to go back for four months. Rude but fair. Oh, and my daughter has started Invisalign with Reza and her teeth are already looking amazing. She smiles more now, which is both adorable and annoying because she's constantly showing off her progress. (We get it, your teeth are moving!) So yes, Market Street Dental gets my full, gushing, slightly hysterical seal of approval. If you’re terrified of the dentist but also want to keep your teeth (and maybe your heart), this is the place to go. Honest, kind, gentle professionals who somehow manage to make a complete coward like me feel like a dental warrior. Highly recommend. But maybe don’t take the last hygienist appointment slot—I want it.

Fantastic experience: I am fortunate to have been a patient of this practice for many years. Dr Ali BaKri is always careful and considerate in detailing what needs to be done and what is being undertaken at each stage of the procedure. He elicits a confidence in his patients and his work is always of the highest standard. Thanks too to his dental nurse, Sushila.

Fantastic experience: Our family had been taking dental treatment in Market Street Dental Practice for years now, we are so grateful for their service. Our children are being seen by clinic staff and so far we are more than satisfied. In terms of making appointments and reminders they are best in Town. Dr Reza Aria is an excellent doctor who knows how to approach patients and treat them beyond expectations. My wife had a long going issues with her teeth and got treatment in other dental clinics, however, the issues never properly solved. Thanks to Dr Reza all the issues were resolved. From the reception area, (with a warm comfortable feel and friendly staff who remember your name on only your second visit), to the dentists and nurses who explain what they are doing and why. 1st visit 2 weeks ago was an emergency appt. 2nd visit last week to do a check up. 3rd visit today for an extraction. On each occasion everyone involved was everything I could possibly hope for. Today I was treated by Dr Priyal and Nurse Zainab. Negative experience: Never known for a receptionist to over charge £150.00p for an eight minute task of sticking back a bridge. Dental hygienist charges £135.00p for a twenty minute clean Even children £105.00p for 20 minutes. Day light robbery. We will never see foot in there.

Fantastic experience: I have just gone through the 3 month process of having an implant. Over the years I have been incredibly nervous of going to the dentist. Dr Sair was a pleasure to deal with, he informed me every step of the way so I knew what to expect. The whole experience was very good, and now I am happy to visit the dentist again :). Fantastic experience: Had sudden intense pain in my whole left side. Got an appointment the next day and was seen by Dr Aria who took some x-rays. Had a good look and declared my back molar was not good and needed to come out. Instead of another appointment he took it out immediately. Prya was great as the assistant and kept tabs on me to make sure I was ok during the extraction. No pain was felt as Dr Aria made sure the local was working at ever step. After the local wore off all the previous pain was gone. Good dentist. But what will make me stay is the bedside manner so to speak. Straightforward but empathetic and kind.

Fantastic experience: I had been ignoring my partially broken upper left wisdom tooth for months since it wasn’t causing much pain—just the occasional discomfort. But over time, the pain started coming and going, and one night, it hit me so hard that I couldn’t eat, sleep, or even think straight. That’s when I decided to visit Market Street Dental Practice, and I’m so glad I did! Dr. Reza Aria diagnosed my tooth and found that it was severely broken with a cavity. I was nervous about the procedure, but to my surprise, he removed the tooth within seconds—quick, painless, and absolutely stress-free! The revamp a few years ago has maintained the high standard and the whole practice has a really nice feel to it. Very calming and super clean. Dr Mustafa El-Hayani is an excellent dentist and has a really calming manner. Negative experience: I moved to the area within the last 2 years and don’t drive so I’m very limited as to where I can go. The dental practices I can easily get to have not been accepting NHS patients, however I have wisdom tooth at the back which has become partially exposed. There is a huge hole and the part visible is black/brown and I’ve started to experience pain. I tried the 2 dentists near to me that I can get to, and whilst they could offer emergency appointments, it could not be under the NHS and they both quoted £80 for the check up, not including costs for follow up treatment! The second dentist suggested I call 111 if I was looking for NHS urgent help and this is where I unfortunately ended up at this dentist. The practice itself is nice and clean, but I have never met a ruder dentist who has made me feel so low in my life. The second he called me in he started asking why I wasn’t registered and practically berating me for calling 111. When I started to try and explain he cut me off and said “well I don’t do NHS, I’m just having to cover this today”. He cleaned the hole, did an injection and X-ray, but then just started drilling me about how I should get registered at a dentist and to just go private!! The prices weren’t “that much different”. Again when I tried to explain what the ones near me were quoting he cut me off from talking “THE ONE I GO TO IS £45! THAT’S ONLY £15 MORE THAN NHS”. First off, that’s not what private dentists were quoting me, if that’s what rate he’s getting good for him. Secondly, even if it was only £15 more, a) that is a lot of money for someone, that covered my travel getting there for the appointment and antibiotics alone, but b) there’s no way I could afford the hundreds of pounds of follow up treatment!! I’m so sick of private dentists shoving their agenda down your throat and belittling those who can’t afford it. There was no mention of extracting the infected wisdom tooth, no follow up, so I’m stuck with a rotten tooth, a hole that is going to keep getting things stuck in and continuously infected and worse. I wouldn’t visit this dentist again if it was the last practice on earth. Don’t bother going here unless you can afford to pay through the nose, they might actually treat you with some decency then though.

Fantastic experience: My teeth has been totally transformed! Yes! They are now straight (no longer crooked) and I can smile with confidence! Wearing Invisalign clear aligners for the past five months was worth it! No longer am I asked if I have 'double row teeth' instead it's a 'wow' the aligners really worked. Had also teeth whitening and regular cleans with Simin. They have the best technology in order to make patients journey easy and comfortable. I had no discomfort during the procedure and was well looked after by both the dental nurse & Dr Sair. Fantastic experience: I have been a patient of Dr. Aria for years, and I couldn’t be happier with the care I’ve received. He is always professional, kind, and thorough, and I truly trust him with my dental health. Recently, I had an appointment with the hygienist, Simin, and I was so impressed by how meticulous and attentive she was. She explained everything as she went along and made the whole experience very comfortable. My teeth have never felt so clean! This practice consistently delivers excellent care, and I highly recommend Dr. Aria and his team to anyone looking for a top-notch dental experience.

Negative experience: Had the hygienist start the appointment 10 mins late and tell me that the slot is only for 30 mins. When I asked to reschedule became defensive and rude saying that the deposit would still be taken. So without question clearly still tried to take my deposit when I had told them that they didn’t carry out any treatment. Ended the appointment and told them that I would take it up with my bank if they didn’t refund. Refunded me after trying to say their policy superseded legislation. Needless to say they will have all the excuses ready for this, however the bottom line is that this would be considered daylight robbery, and my bank would agree. Would advise caution as their policy will let you believe that they can take a full deposit if they don’t carry out the treatment for any reason at all. Including when it is their own fault. Poor effort from this hygienist.

Dr. Priyal Shah is so knowledgeable and put me at ease throughout all my appointments, consistently checking to ensure I was comfortable (I’m not the biggest fan of dentists). The receptionist is a genuine and kind person who works very hard and even managed to accommodate my schedule and many requests. I can’t think of a single fault—highly recommend! Just wonderful people!

Fantastic experience: It is not easy to find someone like Dr Fatima nowadays. She is not only a great dentist, professionalist but most of all a good person. Fatima made my dream about straight teeth come true when I couldn’t find a practice who could solve my dental problems. She was supportive, competent and helpful at all times. She didn’t let me give up (although I had a few moments of breakdown ) and motivated me through all the process. She was able to explain all steps of the Invisalign treatment in a clear, nice and approachable way which made me feel safe and comfortable. I couldn’t choose better option for straightening my teeth than Invisalign. The whole procedure was smooth, easy and discrete. Fatima made me believe that there are still people there who truly want to help you. She was my angel and thanks to her I finished my treatment with a happy and beautiful smile on my face. Fantastic experience: I have been seeing with Dr Ali Muayad Hasan Al-Bakri for quite a few years now and as a NHS patient i feel like he is the best Dentist I have ever had. He has always made sure I leave happy and has helped me with a re occurring issue I have with my tooth. He has tried everything before resorting to tooth extraction (this was a very very last resort). Dr Ali made sure I understood the procedure before hand and told me what was happening as he went on. The procedure took around 30 mins. Explained the Aftercare and the risks. He also said if there are any complications to call straight away. Thank you Dr Ali and the amazing staff at Market Street Dental Practise for seeing me so swiftly

Fantastic experience: At 72 I think I ‘ve had nearly every dental procedure on the book - from fillings, extractions, root canals, crowns, bridges, post crowns and even root resections. Due to a dental emergency NHS 111 sent me to Market street dental a few weeks ago and how glad am I . The surgery staff and ambience are wonderful . As for Dr Darius Sair he is the most caring , exceptionally talented and adept dentist I have ever encountered . 5 stars aren’t enough - simply exceptional ! Highly recommended
