Fantastic experience: JoI’m ned this surgery very recently, initially spoke to Perri, who was extremely professional, helpful and patien and got me signed up quickly. Had my appointment with the surgeon (Sara) and couldn’t have been happier, she instantly put me at ease and was very caring and explained everything. Honestly highly recommend this practice especially if you’re a nervous patient.

Fantastic experience: I can't praise the care that I received today enough. The surgeon was so genuine, kind, and very skilled. He quickly finished my procedure and made sure I was as comfortable as humanly possibly. He and his assistant were very kind and very efficient. I have had to go back for another difficult tooth and they still deserve high praise for their fantastic care. They're all very attentive, patient, and kind. The surgeons are very skilled and efficient. I am always so relieved at how well the procedures go.

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Dr. Ajmal Zubair enough! As someone who suffers from severe dental anxiety due to bad past experiences, I was incredibly nervous about my appointment. From the moment I sat down, he made me feel completely at ease. He’s so kind, funny, and reassuring, and I honestly didn’t feel a thing while having my tooth taken out—it was over before I even realised. He has such gentle hands and is clearly very skilled at what he does. A special thank you as well to the lovely dental nurse, Maz, who was so sweet and supportive throughout. She even let me hold her hand, which really helped calm my nerves. Her encouragement and caring nature made such a difference. The atmosphere, care, and professionalism from both of them was truly 10/10. For the first time, I left a dental appointment feeling safe, valued, and completely looked after.

Fantastic experience: Having been referred here by my dentist for a back tooth extraction, I was rather nervous!! However, the friendly persona of the receptionists and the calming influence of the surgeon and dental nurse did eventually put me at ease. Thank you for a genuinely pleasant experience in an anxiety inducing situation.

Positive experience: I was referred to this dental practice as my own could not complete an extraction. I was really impressed with lodge I was seen promptly before my appointment time and although extractions are not pleasant I was treated well and told of what to expect all the way through the process by an excellent dental surgeon. I would definitely recommend Lodge Dental !.

Fantastic experience: It was my first time visiting as a filling had fallen out of a back molar. It wasn’t salvageable so I was booked in with A.J (Ajmal Zubair). He’s a brilliant dentist and a lovely man, was told it would be surgical removal and the tooth would need to be broken into a few pieces to be taken out, he got it out in one go, took 5 minutes. I also payed less than I was quoted as it was a normal extraction not surgical. Highly recommend him for surgical/ normal extraction. He’s in the job for all the right reasons.

Fantastic experience: First time visit, has I'm not a patient at this clinic.I had been referred from my dentist for 3 extractions, one being a broken tooth under the gum. I was very nervous reception staff were great, the dentist and his assistant were amazing. I don't know how he did it but I didn't even feel the injections to dumb my gum the whole process took 15 minutes and I felt no pain whatsoever. I would highly recommend this dental surgery I wish this was my regular dental surgery the whole team amazing.

Fantastic experience: super quick to get seen and tooth extraction was quick and painless!

Fantastic experience: There appears to be limited parking at the back of the building which I did not know about at the time so I parked nearby which had a 90 min parking restriction but it was OK as I was only parked for an hour. The surgery itself is immaculate and the staff amazing, particularly the dentist who extracted my tooth and his assistant who kept saying calm, reassuring and encouraging things to me throughout what was a really scary thing for me to undergo.

Fantastic experience: I was so scared of the dentist, it took me over 10 years to visit one. I couldn’t have asked for a better dentist. Charlotte put me at ease straight away & after having a panic attack during my first visit, she was calm & soothing and guided me through my appointment. I have since been back twice and I feel I’m getting better each visit. My kids have also been treated & the treatment and whole process is second to none. Highly recommend

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience at The Lodge Dental. Dr. Zuhair Moosa, the specialist oral surgeon, and his assistant were incredibly friendly and professional. They helped me feel completely at ease, playing some calming music while I settled into the chair and the procedure itself was surprisingly quick and painless. The extraction was over in moments, and I really appreciated how smoothly everything went. The receptionist was also amazing, she was very helpful with directions and even came outside to give me a wave when I arrived, which was such a thoughtful touch. To top it all off, I received a follow-up call the next day to check how I was doing, which shows how much they care about their patients. Highly recommend this practice, an excellent service from start to finish! Shout out to The Dental Lodge!!

Fantastic experience: I was very anxious about having my tooth removed as it was embedded. The Dental surgeon and Nurse quickly made me feel relaxed and reassured. The extraction was difficult, but pain free. I would not hesitate to go back if I needed further treatment. Excellent service by the whole team.

Fantastic experience: My experience with using this dental practice from start to finish has been fantastic. I first went into the Lodge to support one of my patients who has mental health issues. They dealt with his situation respectfully and professionally and gave this man time and patience when using the service and many chances to stay with them despite him not always being able to attend. I was so impressed with their compassion and care that I signed myself up to be registered with the lodge too. I live 30 minutes away but the treatment and care is well worth travelling for. The receptionists are always lovely, warm and friendly and do so much to be flexible to accommodate you. They communicate really well too and keep you up to date. The dentist is saw was called Li Lim. Her attention to detail, assessment and treatment advice was superb and she really took the time to patiently listen to my needs. These people really go above and beyond. Thanks for everything you do. (Rebecca Jones - My google account is in my maiden name!)

Positive experience: I went in for a wisdom tooth removal. The dentist was amazing. He did a great job and was patient, reassuring and explaining everything throughout the process. HOWEVER, the dental assistant/nurse was the worst I have ever encountered in a dentist appointment. She couldn’t care less, I choked on my own blood a few times cause she was too absent minded to do her job with suction and overall her service was way below average. EDIT: the practice manager rang me almost immediately after my review apologising and ensuring me that she would look into the matter and retrain said dental nurse as necessary. I increased my review by one star since the phone call.

Fantastic experience: Best Efficiency & the highest level of Care. My teeth are in a shocking state of disrepair, and I needed to have four teeth extracted out, including an Awkward wisdom tooth at the back of my lower right jaw. The Dr made me feel at ease straightaway, I felt relaxed and confident in the dentists' abilities straightaway. The Speed, efficiency and grace that followed with getting my 4 extractions out, was superb despite me losing four teeth, which is my own fault. The Dentist was finished in a matter of no time at all, pain free and on my way well below the half an hour time slot I was allocated. Most definitely one of the best dentists I have been helped by in the four decades of going to a dentist, I truly highly recommend, especially if you are in an unfortunate predicament like myself, who is or is not a Diabetic and need extractions or a great level care needed within your dentistry, Thank you very much.

Negative experience: Avoid if you can. I've lived in Clayton since I was a child, and unfortunately, I’ve never had a positive experience at this practice. While some of the staff are friendly and clearly know what they’re doing, there’s a noticeable lack of genuine concern for patient wellbeing. I consistently come away feeling dismissed, unheard, and treated in a way that feels inconsiderate, unprofessional, and at times, condescending.

Fantastic experience: I had wisdom tooth extended last week. The quality of service and professionalism was its peek.Dr took literally 5 minutes to extract my tooth without any pain, both dentist and nurse explained everything clearly and I will strongly recommen to others seeking same problems.

Fantastic experience: I attended for removal of a Wisdom tooth, staff here are amazing, from the reception, through to the clinical staff. Very professional and reassuring, as I was nervous. Very good atmosphere, everything was explained in detail. I felt very reassured throughout the whole process. Fantastic experience: I would like to Thank the Dentist Mr Zuhair Moosa and his Dental Nurse for their excellent work regarding the extraction of a tooth Yesterday Morning Monday 24th March 2025 . Both Mr Moosa and the Dental Nurse put me at ease as soon as I entered the surgery and explained in a precise and clear way why the extraction was necessary and how it would be performed . The Extraction took approx. 10 - 15 minutes to complete and pain and discomfort was really and truly kept at the bare minimum .I was amazed at how quick the procedure was performed and I thanked them both for their excellent work !!!! . Both Mr Moosa and the Dental Nurse explained verbally post extraction self treatment and the steps I would need to follow for a week and I was also given a leaflet to read also explaining the Post extraction treatment . Fantastic experience: Amazing dentist Imania Khan and nurse both very friendly and really made me feel at ease. Imania explained step by step what she will be doing and how it would feel, kept asking me during the extraction if I was ok , waiting nearly a year a putting off having a tooth taken out and being in constant pain, I was referred to the lodge dental via my own practice. Took no longer than 15 mins, very professional and gentle handed. Absolutely amazing service so reassuring as i have had a fear of dentists since childhood and you guys really put at ease. I would highly recommend anyone to visit this practise. Thankyou once again.

Fantastic experience: Mohamed Eitarhuni, the Dentist, was brilliant. He has got many good qualities required for this profession: he gave very good advise,was considerate, respectful and showed me on x-ray on what needed doing - exactly. When the job started he was very careful to cause the least amount of pain or discomfort in the procedure so I did not have to suffer so much. Once completed he also handed me a mirror so I could have a look at what he had done. Prior to all this, Receptionist, Stella, gave me all the information to clear any doubts. The surgery was well equipped, tidy. Thank-you very much!

Fantastic experience: I was there for an emergency wisdom teeth extraction to say the least it was fast and pain free, also they had a proper x ray machine unlike elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: The Oral surgeon Dr Musa was absolutely brilliant, as was his nurse. I was very nervous, as I have some health problems, and I also had an abcess on the gum, but he spent time reassuring me and explained the procedure and what to expect. He ensured I was comfortable, and adjusted the chair to a mutual agreement, as I have problems lying down, and he was very understanding. I did some breathing exercises until I felt ready to begin the extraction. At no time did I feel rushed into anything. Dr Moosa was absolutely wonderful, very caring, reassuring, and professional, and my treatment was painless I felt confident in his care. Dr Moosa was constantly checking that I was comfortable, was as was the nurse who held my hand and reassured me that I was doing well. I have never had such a caring and reassuring experience with any other dentist, and I told them both I wish they were my regular dental team! I can't speak highly enough of this special dentist and I'm very grateful to him, his nurse, and the receptionists who were very friendly and welcoming. I can't thank you all enough! Fantastic experience: I have been on two separate occasions to have a tooth taken out. Of course this can be unpleasant and a bit worrying. The reception staff and the dentist themselves were reassuring and professional. The procedure went as well as possible and I am overall very pleased. One little mention to help improve would be to have a new sign put outside so it can be seen when driving past.

Fantastic experience: I was referred here via the NHS as it was considered a procedure which needed additional specialist expertise. Being a bad patient, this was something I wasn’t looking forward to. But I have to be honest, the treatment, aftercare, simply the level of caring was first rate. If I was given an option of a referral in the future, this practice would be my first choice. And if I now need any private work, ditto. And a HUGE shoutout to Stella on reception who couldn’t possibly have been any more helpful. Great customer service and patient care.

Negative experience: the female dentist was extremely rude and careless she purposely spilt water all over my face when it was just for my mouth and kept doing it she was very inconsiderate and hostile other than that everyone else was fine.

Fantastic experience: From referral to appointment approximately 6 weeks, inclusive of christmas period At the appointment I was treated with a strong understanding of my nervous disposition, the dentist took the time to ask if I wanted a high or low detailed explanation of what would happen, ensured I was comfortable at all times and was able to extract the tooth with ease. I didn't feel rushed at all. Very relieved

Fantastic experience: Had my lower left wisdom tooth extracted by Dr Kahale on Saturday. Dr Kahale is very professional and welcoming, and so was the dental nurse who assisted (so sorry, I didn’t catch her name but she was a young blonde girl with braces). Dr Kahale spent time to show me the x-ray I’d had done before we went ahead with the procedure, and also offered to refer me to the dental hospital if I wanted to for a 3D scan. Anyway, I decided to go ahead with the extraction on Saturday. I have had 8 teeth extracted in the past due to overcrowding and this wisdom tooth removal was by far the smoothest and most painless extraction I’ve had. I’d genuinely give the pain about 1/10 (if that) which I think says a lot about the dentist’s skill. I barely felt the needles with the anaesthetic and after that, it was just some expected pressure to pull the tooth. My mouth is recovering well and the nerves seem to be all fine. I would definitely come back to Lodge and see Dr Majed Kahale again. Thanks guys!

Positive experience: I had a very relaxed experience here while having a tooth taken out. It was a back tooth which i was expecting to have problems with. I was put at ease on enteting as the procedure was explained to me. The only oain i felt was the anaesthetic going in. The whole thing was over very quick. The dentist snd nurse were both very nice. I had to go back in a few days later after experiencing some discomfort and was treated for dry socket, this was also a good experience with nice polite staff.

Fantastic experience: I was referred to The Lodge Dental by my dentist as they can do more advanced dental extractions. The practice staff are very helpful and the dentist staff were very friendly, clear in explaining why treatment was needed, what would happen, the risks, and provided time for me to ask questions.

Fantastic experience: The staff at the Lodge go above and beyond for patients, as a nervous patient, I was looked after from the initial phonecall to the appointment. The building is super clean, fresh and modern, it's got spacious waiting room on both floors, informative information on the walls for patients to read. I seen a lovely woman called Charlotte, she was so nice and welcoming, she took her time to relax me into the appointment, she took her time explaining things throughout the appointment and gave me a plan going forward which I felt happy with. All of this couldn't of happened if it wasn't for the practice manager kerrie. No words can explain my gratitude towards her, she went above and beyond to help me out, she even phoned me after my appointment to see how I was. 5* customer service.

Fantastic experience: I had my wisdom tooth extracted today. I was really nervous but the dentist (Dr.J Greval) and nurse (Sumayyah) were both very polite and helped calm my nerves. Fantastic experience: I only called to see where my referral was upto, the lady said we have an appointment in 10 mins, I said I'll be there, which I thought was to see what they had to say, OMG they were ready to take the tooth out, I cried with being overwhelmed but the guy really supported me and calmed me down, he was amazing, I even got to hold the assistants hand, but NO sqeezing. I had to hug him once it was done I was so greatful, he was amazing, thanks again xxx

Fantastic experience: I was referred by my dentist for 3 difficult exractions. From entering the premises everything felt calm and relaxed. The receptionist was friendly and polite. I was seen on time for my appointment by Dr Moosa . I had two extractions, one easy but the other was very difficult as my root snapped. Dr Moosa was very gentle and kind, asking me how I was and topping up my anesthetic when I needed it. It wasn't pleasant ( what extraction is) but it was much less traumatic than I expected it to be, thanks to Dr Moosa and his lovely nurse. Fantastic experience: I had an NHS referral from my usual dentist for an extraction. The whole process for a tooth extraction was a good experience. Reception team were friendly and effective in setting up my appointment and welcome. A short delay on the day but the welcome, briefing and process Dr Khan was reassuring, professional and proficient. This was my first tooth extraction, so I was apprehensive. I have no hesitation in recommending Dr Khan and her practice. Hopefully the healing will be a good experience also! Thank you

Fantastic experience: Referred for wisdom tooth extraction. I was very visibly anxious but couldn’t have felt more reassured. Both the dentist and his support were amazing and comforting - offering a hand to squeeze and background music. As positive of an extraction experience as I could have had.

Fantastic experience: I have had quite a few tooth extractions in my time and this extraction was by far the easiest I've had, it was over in 10 mins. I was even unaware that it had been pulled out fully and it was quite a big one at the back! Dr Moosa was very attentive and gentle and his nurse was also the same plus information with the aftercare. Even the after pain, when the anesthetic wore off is barely anything. I'm really happy I made the decision to be referred for this. Thank you

Fantastic experience: Was put at ease as soon as I walked in. The dentist was lovely and reassured me he explained what he was going to do he had to cut the gum to get the broken tooth out. It was over in minutes and didn't feel anything. Brilliant. My gum healed in just over a week. Would highly recommend this Practise.

Fantastic experience: I attended lodge dental with my extremely nervous partner for a tooth extraction. Dr Khan did an excellent job to ensure he felt comfortable and wasn’t in any pain. He left the practice very happy with procedure and didn’t not feel a thing, even the needle. Highly recommend, especially for nervous patients.

Fantastic experience: I was referred to The Lodge Dental Clayton, by my regular dentist, for wisdom tooth extraction. I was naturally nervous, but really no need. Dr Khan and Katie were fabulous. Dr Khan explained absolutely everything from post xray, until I left the door minus the tooth. Both were so calming and welcoming. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: Was referred by my dentist for an extraction and everything went smooth. It was like they were waiting for me. The dentist explained the procedure and took time to double check and make sure we were aligned about the procedure for the day. The assistant also did a good job with the post extraction care.
