Positive experience: Recently accepted as an NHS patient only had a 1st inspection appointment. On entering the denistry it was bright airy and clean. The dentist I seen was thorough on his inspection took xrays and explained in detail the findings and following on proceedures and costs.

Fantastic experience: After an extremely traumatic dental experience at another practice, I was very nervous about my first appointment at Bosco. However, my nerves were put at ease straight away by Adelene, who was calm, reassuring, and really took the time to explain everything clearly. A big thank you also to Polly on reception, who was warm and welcoming and helped make the whole experience feel much less daunting. The team were professional, kind, and supportive from start to finish. I left the appointment feeling genuinely cared for and so relieved to have finally found a practice I can trust.

Fantastic experience: Recently had an appointment for a check up with Kelly and Karen and I’ve never felt more relaxed at the dentist. No judgement at all. Kelly was so gentle while doing the check up which really was a refreshing change . Both Kelly and Karen were also excellent with my little boys who’s only 19months. Really makes going back a bit easier and less stressful.

Fantastic experience: I had my first appointment at Bosco Dental Centre this past Friday, and I couldn’t be more impressed! From the moment I walked in, the team made me feel so welcome. Girl at the front desk was incredibly friendly and helpful. I was impressed of her multitasking skill and still being super focused on everything at the same time Karen, Alexandra and Adelene - dental staff were just super amazing. They explained everything clearly, made sure I was comfortable throughout, and treated me with genuine care and professionalism. I was also really impressed by how clean and well-maintained the entire clinic was. It shows that they truly care about providing the highest standard of care in every way. Never expected such an exceptional positive experience.

Both my daughter and I have visited Bosco this week - I had to get two very awkward fillings which Adelene carried out to perfection - I really think she is one of the best dentists I have had. Very calming, cheerful and professional. Also assisted by Karen the dental nurse who worked hard to keep me comfortable all the way through the procedure, whilst she multi tasked in the background. One thing I liked is how brilliantly they worked as a team, so in sync all the time. Today My daughter had to have a tooth extraction - the last of her baby teeth that just would not come out. Adelene removed it painlessly and gave her good brushing advice with the help of the lovely Debbie this time. I also would like to say a thank you to the young lady on the reception - she has a very nice manner, works hard and nothing is too much trouble. A great dental experience from all the team. Fantastic experience: The team at Bosco have been very attentive, kind and efficient in the last year and a half I have been a patient. Dr Agnieszka has been fantastic and I feel very confident in her capabilities as I am a relatively nervous patient. They also were brilliant taking care of an issue I had with a filling that didn’t feel right after treatment last year. They accommodated waiting for me to return from a 2 month overseas trip before I could return for a follow up and took care of redoing the filling free of charge. This meant a lot to me that they took my issue seriously and appreciate their care and patience in waiting for my return. I recommend this dentist without any hesitation :)

Fantastic experience: Really impressed by this dentist every time I visit. Last month I took my 8 year old who had sensitive teeth and the dentist immediately asked if he'd had a lot of antibiotics as a child, which he had - and she explained that this made his teeth underdeveloped and more sensitive. She have a comprehensive plan for what to do and reassurance. Last week I went for a check up and clean for me and a check for my 5 year old, who won't sit still. The child smile nurse very very kindly entertained him while I had my teeth cleaned so I didn't have to worry about what he was up to! Really blown away by how nice everyone is here and how professional.

Fantastic experience: My kids (4 & 2) recently had their 2nd check up at Bosco and what a positive experience! We were taken straight away although a lovely lady (Karen I think) spoke to the kids, asked them questions when we first went in and put them at ease. Then the dentist we had was absolutely brilliant! She spoke to them, really put them both at ease and made it a very fun experience. Overall 10/10 from start to finish!

The lady dentist I see is one the best and feel safe in her care. The hygienist is lovely too, she also talks me through everything and keeps me calm. Won’t go anywhere else but Bosco

Fantastic experience: Had my first appointment last week with Dr Nohawica. I really enjoyed the professional manner on which things were explained to me. We went through XR images together and details about each issue and made an initial treatment plan. There was absolutely no pressure to do anything, and because I registered with a monthly subscription, I already had 10% discount on the fees, which does not happen to all clinics. I am looking forward to sorting all my teeth, I am confident everything will go smoothly.

Fantastic experience: I had my first trip to Bosco this week. A great experience, such lovely people. Very professional, but also really personable,, I really enjoyed the experience. Very clear about pricing, and my options, which was refreshing! I’m used to getting work done at the dentist, so it doesn’t phase me, but when my kids were there a week before, the staff and dentist was so good at making them relaxed and having fun with them, so they complied and opened wide for their check ups, great work. The best practice I’ve been to before, by far :-)

Negative experience: Terrible Place. I had a root canal treatment here less than a year ago. Today my tooth broke in half, the left fifth tooth at the bottom. I can not eat because I'm afraid something will happen. they do not answer the phone (4:25pm).I came to ask someone to check what happened and determine what to do next. The lady at the reception doesn't care about anything and is disconnected from reality. There is no chance of help even though it is an emergency! (there are no dentists available today that's all I heard ) I paid for the treatment of this tooth. I'm not a whining, annoying before ! Because I don't have benefits, I have to pay for dental treatment! But they still don't give a damn about me and no one even devoted 5 minutes to me and told me they would help me!!!! I highly do not recommend this place, but as far as I know, there is no other dentist in the area and that's why this place and everyone who works there don't care about patients! Unfortunately, there's nothing I can do about it. I wanted to share my observations.

Fantastic experience: My family recently joined Bosco and each of us have had a terrific experience. I am a very nervous patient and the team listened and empathised without making me feel silly. I felt at ease very quickly with Katie and Polly. I already feel better about going to my next appointment. My son has also had a great experience. He hasn't once opened his mouth for a dentist. (Lockdown didn't help this!) But at Bosco he met Karen and she is just wonderful with Children. (As are they all!) She invited him back to do a 1-2-1 clinic with his where he was shown around allowed to play and actually opened his mouth for her to have a look. Amazing progress! Having had terrible childhood dentists myself I am relieved that my son already is having a completely different experience than I did and will hopefully not develop a phobia like I did when I was younger. He even gave them all a cuddle on his way out. Happy with his balloon they gave him. Would highly recommend the practice and so glad we joined!

Fantastic experience: First return to a dentist in 3 years (COVID and a move to Scotland) and looks like I got into the right one. Very efficient and friendly, I nipped over from work and had a detailed check up in 30 mins. Including x-rays and finding out that work that needs to be done on an old filling that looks as if it was badly done (years ago). My dentist was lovely showed me what was going on and what needed to be done. Great value too! Back in two weeks to sort out the pain that Is the bad filling.

Negative experience: I have a chipped tooth which requires filling and attended the clinic to have this done. The procedure was meant to be completed in a visit but the amalgam would not stick to the tooth even though the dentist scraped away more of the tooth. I now have a larger hole in my tooth than when I went in and it has not been dressed and as such is sensitive to cold air and liquid. I will now have to wait several weeks until they can redo the procedure.I don’t really rate their customer care very highly.

Fantastic experience: The name "Dentist" makes me nervous, going to Bosco for the first time, I was instantly put at ease, the receptionist was jovial and very pleasant. The actual person who was looking at my teeth was very young but she soon made me know that she knew her stuff. The hygienist was excellent. I walked out of the establishment with my head held high and not a tear in my eye. All the people who work there deserve a 10/10 for customer service. Also, the place was very clean.

Fantastic experience: I went to this newly set up modern practice at Dalkeith. The appointment was a terrific experience. Apart from Dr Agnieszka usual tender character, thorough briefing for every little detail and meticulous collaboration with the nurse, she updated the setup with customer-oriented technologies and service packages. I am greatly satisfied with the air polishing technique which provides superb whitening for stained teeth. Soft touch of the air brush greatly relieves your nerve. 29/10/2021 - This is my latest visit to the Studio' for routine check and rinsing service. The team, led by Dr Agnieszka continue to uphold high quality service. All queries are well-addressed and comprehensive and set me in a ease of mind throughout the process, deserving excellent rating.

Fantastic experience: always nervous and anxious getting scrape and polish and as i now have gum disease needed an extensive deep clean. i usually have jags to numb me but kirsty managed to do it without a jag. i still dont like it but it is the only time i havent been in a state. the best dentist i have been to and i have been to a lot lol
