Fantastic experience: What a fantastic team kids have had such an amazing experience here receptionists are very lovely and the dentist lady nazi and nurse are fantastic couldn't ask for anyone better for my children so caring and always tell the children step by step what they are doing fantastic team

Fantastic experience: I got my 8 year old daughter booked in here she went many times before they could do an extraction as she had an active infection. Firstly I'd like to say how lovely the reception staff are, always very willing to help you and always greet you with a smile absolutely cannot fault. Especially the lady with the cool accent, I think she may be a bit new, she has long curly dark hair she was 100% spot on the kind of lady you would want working for you! Dentist side of things, the head dentist, Mr Ebodi was not very nice. He made my daughter feel very on edge and drained an abscess without any hints to myself or my 8 year old. He was also very miserable and my daughter refused to see him again. After speaking to the lovely reception I was able to switch to Dr Amami who was very welcoming and great at distraction while my daughter had her extraction I can't recommend this dentist enough. Overall a great experience with the RIGHT dentist for our needs. Thanks so much ❤️

Negative experience: My daughter(she is 5) has seen by Dr…Ali Emami He made the 5 teeth filling within 5 minutes without taking any further consultation,no X-ray has been taken. After fillings has done,my daughter was so unwell,lots of pain and a big swelling in her face. Her tooth has a big apsis and she needs a surgery at Poole hospital after all!!It was nearly affecting her eye ;( Very unprofessional service,think twice before you go!! I saw the clinic feedback .However, I find it disappointing that instead of addressing the serious concerns I raised, the reply simply redirects the matter to a general confidentiality policy. Let me be clear: at no point did I ask for private information, nor did I share any. My feedback was based entirely on a first-hand experience that directly affected someone I care about. Invoking confidentiality as a way to dismiss or deflect valid criticism is not acceptable. Transparency, accountability, and a genuine willingness to listen are key elements of quality care — not just privacy policies. I shared our experience publicly because previous attempts to raise concerns through the appropriate channels were either ignored or met with indifference. If the clinic is truly committed to patient care, then I expect more than a standard response. It is my fundamental right to seek legal action and to warn others. Thanks

Fantastic experience: Have been going here for about 20 years, Mr Ebodi is the best dentist and always puts me at ease, I have been bringing my children since they were babies and they are so comfortable with him, so glad & lucky to have a dentist who I feel very comfortable around. Always the most professional staff. I couldn’t rate any better!! When I was told Mr Ebodi was going private, I was offered the choice to go with a different dentist and stay NHS, but I have only ever seen Mr Ebodi and did not want a different dentist for myself or my children who are now 13 & 16 and have been doing to him since they were babies, I am happy to go private with him and happy he has kept my children on as NHS.

Fantastic experience: I underwent my very first appointment with Neha Pokhrelnlast Saturday, I am a very nervous patient, however Neha was fantastic and I felt at ease during my treatment, so much so that I am not worried about my next visit!

Fantastic experience: Wonderful dentist. Very professional. Check for mouth cancer, care about your health. Polite receptionist, lovely nurses and doctors. Remember to floss daily.

Fantastic experience: I can't fault this practice. I have CPTSD and had the most horrendous experience with another dentists that stopped me going again for many years. I found Mr E Bodi and I have to say he is an absolute Earth Angel. A very patient, gentleman. An absolute wizard at what he does. My partner always attends with me to hold my hand to avoid any uncomfortable trigger responses I am likely to have but, I've not had one yet and I've attended quite a lot of appointments. The staff are all highly professional, compassionate, helpful and welcoming. The phone appointment reminders from them are always welcomed because I am forgetful. The hygienist and her assistant are also Earth Angels, helping me to keep my neck supported because I've had surgery on it and making sure I'm comfortable all the way through. It's always a professional, thorough job. I'd highly recommend this practice to anyone. In fact I've recommended quite a few people that now attend and have been over the moon with the treatment they've received. Very clean. Thank you team PDP. I appreciate you all.

Positive experience: The only thing that i can complain about is the price of the hygienist, if it was cheaper more people would use it. But having said that, this dentist practice is very hot on the sanitiser front. I was really impressed, they have a system guiding you every step of the way. Everything was sanitised before and after, even the door handles and pens. Well impressed as I haven't seen anywhere else be so proactive on hygiene regarding the safety of their customers and staff .

Fantastic experience: I was originally recommended this dental practice around 5 or 6 years ago by a friend who told me the staff were brilliant. As the pandemic has meant I went a few years without appointments, I haven’t been to the surgery many times. However, I’ve always had a pleasant experience, the reception staff are always friendly and helpful and I’m always seen in a timely manner. After todays appointment, my dentist recommended some brushes for me to buy from reception. Before paying for them, the hygienist took me aside to ensure the size of brush was correct and she took her time to show me correct techniques for effective cleaning and flossing. I really appreciated the extra time and care taken, she went above and beyond. The receptionist was lovely too. I’d never have guessed she was new to the role if she hadn’t told me, she remained calm, despite it being busy, and maintained a professional, cheerful and helpful demeanour!

Fantastic experience: I had a lot of issues with my teeth and had been to several dentists without having a good lasting solution until I came to Poole lane dental practice and Dr Abodi gave me a perfect dental treatment and since then, I have had rest from prolonged dental problems and I am quite happy about it. Dr Abodi is highly professional and an excellent dentist. The staff there are also good and friendly. I would recommend this dental practice to everyone.

Negative experience: ⭐ My experience with Pool Lane Dental Practice was extremely disappointing. Despite scheduling an appointment, the practice manager seemed unaware of my arrival and showed a complete disregard for my time and schedule. When confronted about the inconvenience, her response was dismissive and unprofessional, demonstrating a lack of basic courtesy and communication skills. I would caution others to be wary of engaging with this establishment, as their behavior reflects a disregard for customer service and professionalism.

Negative experience: I booked an appointment and was charged the 50. However they then moved the appointment to a later date as the dentists had to go away last minute. However I never received confirmation of the appointment and now they are saying I have to pay a further 50 to get another one.

Fantastic experience: Ist class as always! Mr Ebodi is professional, caring and always explains things well.

Negative experience: Disappointed that the dental practice was not child friendly. Dentist was masked up, didn’t bother to take his mask off and give him even a little smile , offered no distractions whatsoever. It was his very first dental appointment. My 2 year old was very scared so we left after a few minutes without an examination. The next appointment he was offered was in 6 months time.
