Fantastic experience: 54yrs old and always had phobia of dentists and dental work, not anymore my new dentist Boglarka (Hungarian) is the kindest, gentlest most patient dentists I've ever had and my teeth are in as good a condition now as they've ever been, thanks Bogi. Also the front of house staff are great too, friendly, polite , professional and efficient, absolutely no complaints

Fantastic experience: I had a particularly tricky filling to have done on a rear molar, but I was properly looked after and anesthetised by the dentist. Also, she was careful to wait until the bone had grown back after a nasty infection took the area eight months ago and I nearly lost the tooth. With care, attention, and professionalism I now still have the tooth with a better filling on it and I am much happier. Great dentist.

Fantastic experience: Another visit this week to have two large fillings replaced. The only pain was as the needle entered the gum, otherwise a painless experience. Everything that was going to happen was explained in detail, and undertaken with great care. I have always had excellent treatment whenever I have attended this practice. After a rapid check in with reception I had just sat down, when exactly on time I was called for treatment. This time it was a dental clean with Tessa. The cleaning was a painless experience. I enjoyed?? the experience so much I have booked for a repeat treatment in six months time!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Boglarka Goroncseri agreed to see me as an NHS patient on an emergency basis and took two x-rays to confirm her diagnosis of an abscess tooth.She was incredibly helpful and prescribed penicillin tablets and said to not hesitate to contact her if the infection persists. She was also a delightful person and fully explained the situation and put me at ease. I couldn’t recommend her enough and wish she was my regular dentist.

Fantastic experience: I recently joined the Woburn Sands Dental Surgery after being with a dental practice in Northampton for over 60years. I found the drive too long and finally plucked up the courage to change to a local practice. I am a very nervous patient but my new dentist is all I could ask for. She is very patient and took on board my concerns so that my visits to have a crown replaced were no problem. I will always be nervous and have been so since a child but I will be ok with Dr Goroncseri.

Fantastic experience: Excellent caring and calm . We became new patients at Woburn Sands Dental practice in September. We signed up to the dental plan for two hygienist and two dental check ups a year. Visit to the hygienist was excellent followed by a visit to Dr Goroncseri. She explained I needed a filling replacing and explained the process. The treatment on the day was first class by Dr B and her assistant. Explained every part of the dental work and took her time and it was a very calm and chilled experience. I have never felt so relaxed and enjoyed the feeling of reassurance whilst in the chair that I was clearly in very good hands. I have had a lot of visits to dentists over the years and this stands head a shoulders above all the others Lovely receptionists too.

Negative experience: Practice stopped taking NHS for dental work yet had me sign NHS forms before my visit. Was given a price of £55 over the phone for my emergency visit and my dental records since i am a long time patient at this surgery only to get there and the receptionist raises it to £75. They did match the price given over the phone but left a bad taste with the bait and switch. I got my dental records and will shop around for a practice that either takes NHS which is hard or if going private to a practice with better customer support.

Negative experience: I registered to WSDP a month ago after some research. It's not the cheapest practice but good service comes with a price. I was experiencing pain on my tooth so I arranged an online booking which was quick and easy. First consultation arrived and a plan was designed. Plenty of issues appeared but main focus was on the troubled tooth. The Dr. was caring and thorough. A crack on my tooth was spoted and the area was infected. We agreed to do a filling and I was prescribed antibiotic. Filling was done with same doctor and it appeared that during the intervention more tiny, cracks appeared underneath the main one. Doctor couldn't assure me how much that filling would hold. It could be a few weeks or years. I had to call the practice after my tooth was sore after I run of antibiotics to know how to proceed:I got prescribed 5 more days of antibiotics, and was told to reach to them again in case the pain wasn't going away. Days went by without improvement. The tooth was not ok but it was getting worse so I got a new appointment. Pain escalated in the meantime and dental abcess formed in my gum and popped just hours before my new visit. This time I was attended by a new doctor, who was also funny and thorough. The filling was not gonna make it and I had to decide now between a root canal, root canal with specialist or tooth extraction. Treatment with specialist was more expensive but guaranteed a higher success rate. I needed some more time to analyze what was best so I left that day the consultation without deciding yet what I wanted. I didn't get any treatment or prescription that day but I was still charged for the meeting. That was tuesday, I had the next day a new appointment to the practice for an unrelated matter with the cursed tooth. I got an oral hygiene this time with Doctor Saba Anwar. Like the rest of staff I felt very comfortable with her and my smile looker cleaner soon after. The appointment lasted less than 30 minutes which felt short and I would need to book a second time to finish the job. I told the reception desk on that same day that I had decided to get the root canal with the specialist. I was required to provide my email and phone number and I was told that they would let me know the details by friday. Well today is saturday afternoon and I haven't received any updates but that's not the worst part. Yesterday the tooth started to feel bad again with pain and pressure increasing rapidly. It's been another sleepless night of pain without a break for relieve and it feels the infection is stronger than ever. I tried to reach to WSDP which according to their website and google opens on saturdays starting 8:15. am. I've been calling from 8:15 to 9:30 am without any success. I ended up calling a different practice that opens 7 days of the week in MK and thankgod I got an emergency appointment for the same day at 12:00. I got a new x-ray in a seemingly more sophisticated machine than the one in Woburn Sands. It gave a more detailed picture of the tooth which according to the doctor: "that's a realy painful and nasty infection". Before I gave him any details he could tell that the infection had been building up for months and couldn't understand why I got a filling done in the first place. After I explained him more details he was just un utter disbelief of how Woburn Sands practice approached my case from the start. I've ended up getting the tooth extracted which might have been a bit of a rushed call but I'm just glad that this cycle of pain has ended. A cycle of pain, sleep depravation and ininterrupted painkiller intake. I would also like to add that during this whole process I tried to reach WSDP to their reception desk by email on a couple of occasions as english is not my maternal language and it helps describe my issues more accurately and avoid missunderstandings. Sadly these emails were never answered and I ended up calling the next day. In my experience WSDP looks great on the surface, but it falls apart in the moment of truth with treatment and their followup with the patient.

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend this dental practice enough. Following a check up I needed a filling and my dentist managed to squeeze me in the next day! Nothing is too much trouble for the staff and I always feel that I am being looked after very well when I attend. Even if I could find an NHS dentist I wouldn't leave here. Fantastic experience: I’ve recently switched practice following a recommendation from a friend. I saw Dr Boglarka and her assistant Aggie. They were both lovely and put me at ease. Dr Boglarka was very attentive and took time to explain everything to me. They even had a television on the ceiling to give you something to look at during treatment. I never thought a visit to the dentist could be so delightful and I left feeling a million dollars. I really cannot praise this practice enough. I’m even looking forward to my next visit!

Fantastic experience: I had not been to a dentist for several years after my brilliant previous dentist returned to RSA to manage the family business. My wife was already a patient at WS so I summoned up courage to return to the chair. I need not have worried. All the support staff were polite and helpful. My dentist Dr Estera was thorough and gentle, funny and professional and filled me with confidence that the final results would be fit for purpose. I couldn't ask for more beyond a discount on the bill :)
