Negative experience: The dentist is great and is good at her job but when I booked and paid £120 for a check up and clean over the phone I asked if I’ll need to pay anything extra, and she said no I will not. After my check up I was charged an extra £15 because she said she needs to take another x ray just to make sure so I said okay but no one said it was an extra charge. My family have been coming here for a long time and that was really disappointing..

Fantastic experience: Dentist Miriam and Nurse Mae have been seeing my 3 children for 2-3 years now and have always looked after them and made them feel relaxed. Miriam is very professional and helpful and is helping to get my son braces. Their appointments are accommodating and work around kids school and my work times. I will never go anywhere else. Update: my son got his teeth extraction today by Dentist Fenny, she was very good and professional and did an excellent job! My children are now going to be seen by her in future . Positive experience: Friendly & helpful receptionist and dentist both. However, not pleased with the prep once I sat in the dentist chair - assistant didn't bother to put the bib on me till after a few mins into the dental procedure, which is quite unsanitary. Neither did she offer to take the bib when I removed it at the end of the procedure. Strange DIY behaviour. Pls be more present with your patients and their surroundings

Fantastic experience: I was referred to Dr Utkarsh Dandekar for my dental implant, and have worked with him for approx 9 months. The communication from him and the practice has always been clear. The advice and recommendations, guidance and support has been fantastic, and the actual dental work has been done very well. As someone who has feared dentists previously, I've always felt comfortable and confident with Dr Dandekar and am very pleased with the result.

Negative experience: I thought the dentist was good at one time but now they don't have a care in the world about vulnerable disabled people. We can no longer have free cleaning on the NHS, therefore I have decided to pull out my own teeth with plyers, how many more people have to go through this It's scandalous

Negative experience: I have been registered as an NHS patient with this dentist for over 10 years, I called them today and make an appointment and they've deregistered me and told me, they can see me privately. disgusting and abuse of NHS powers.

Due to the increased demand for NHS appointments, patients are advised to attend the practice on a regular basis dependent on their individual dental needs. This can vary from 6 monthly appointments to annual appointments. This is subject the dentist's professional judgement. A patient will only be deregistered and unable to accesses our services under the National Health if they do not attend the practice for two consecutive years.
We take negative feedback very seriously however as this is an anonymous review we are currently unable to investigate this further.

Negative experience: It was a very bad appointment. I had an appointment for a dental cleaning, and I had informed the dentist in advance that I had stopped coming for routine visits because they didn't clean my teeth. He asked me to tell the receptionist to book me an appointment for 20 minutes. When I arrived, it didn't take five minutes at all. He didn't clean my teeth, just ran water lightly and quickly for no more than five minutes.

Fantastic experience: I’ve purposefully waited prior to giving any feedback on my latest dental treatment, which was the third time in 30 years that I have undergone dental treatment, this time requiring 4 porcelain Veneers & 2 Crowns, etc. This third treatment has without question been of the best quality to date, thanks to Utkarsh (Kash) Dandekar and the Damira Island Health ("DIH") team's diligence, high standards, clear & detailed explanations & planning, as well as guidance & recommendations from the very start of the process. Kash ensured the sizing was appropriate & the fits were exact. My experience with Kash & the team at DIH was far superior to the previous dentist / practitioner (who although based in Harley St, London, resulted in the two top front Veneers repeatedly coming off whilst eating, having to present to clients with those very visible Veneers missing, & having to return to refit on more than one occasion!). After this third set of treatment was completed, I lost count of the number of compliments I received from family, friends & colleagues, noticing & saying how good & natural my teeth look. Whilst travelling on my holiday recently I was complimented on my smile more than once & photographed for advertising / marketing materials - that’s never happened before! A huge thank you to Kash & the team!

Fantastic experience: Thank you to Demira Dental and my dentist Utkarsh Dandekar. I had several appointments with Utkarsh, where he helped me with: - Multiple fillings - A hygiene clean - A Root Canal - Fitting on a crown. I broke my tooth not long ago but despite my nerves around this, Utkarsh helped to ease my mind from the first appointment. We made a plan of action, followed it through and completed it yesterday. I’d like to express my thank you especially for the Root Canal treatment which was a long hour. I’ve never been to a dentist who has made me feel as calm and at ease as Utkarsh. Despite it not being 1 day, my Crown fitting feels perfect. Thank you for your clear communication and supportive words and also a massive thank you to the dental assistants in each of my appointments and the kind receptionist.

Fantastic experience: Myself and my three children had been using this Dental clinic for over the year now. The reception staff are always very welcoming and calm, you never feel rushed or unwanted. One of my children has autism so naturally this was very hard for him. The dentist has always been absolutely amazing and patient with him. Her name is Miriam Bouchiba and she is better than previous dentist who actually specialises with children who has autism. Her warm approach, soft tone and ability to cater for everyone's needs is what you want to see in your health care provider. She managed to do a filling yesterday, her professional approach and ability to do her job so quickly left my son so happy. She made his day, he left the clinic happy and so proud of himself. He said that he's not afraid of dentists anymore. As a mum with special needs child I want to Thank Miriam for her patients and understanding.

Positive experience: Dentist and service is good. However website for booking appointments are limited to cosmetic procedure. Basic checkup appointments is not listed and you have to call up to make an appointment. Upfront payment prior to visit is also a practice I strongly dislike as I have been with the practice for a long time and have never missed an appointment.

Negative experience: I'm not sure how this dentist has so many positive reviews. The receptionist/ dental assistant had poor hygiene and could barely speak any English. The room is dingy with equipment that looks as old as I am. I attended for a hygiene appt and didn't leave with the squeaky clean feeling I usually get from my NHS dentist in North London. I couldn't recommend this place to a friend.

Fantastic experience: Walked past here and saw their advertisement by the front door, that they take kids NHS client. I went in and talked to the receptionist. Very helpful, he helped me register on spot I didn’t need to show any identification of the child. We immediately made an appointment in two weeks. Before the appointment they will send clients a reminder, email and SMS. Every Tuesday, there’s a children dentist there. We arrived on time and waited for about 10 minutes before we got into the treatment room. The dentist and the nurse, and the receptionist were all very nice and kind sweet to the young children. They help young children to feel more comfortable. The environment is clean and professional. For my child’s first NHS dental appointment here he had some fluorine over his teeth. And the child is asked to come back once every six months. I will come back here if I need to do my private dental care.

Negative experience: Unfortunately had a very alarming experience. The private damira dentist told me I needed 4 fillings, and even explained why using an X-Ray. This was going to cost £400. I went to a different NHS Dentist to cover this treatment instead and it turned out I didn’t need any fillings, I even showed them the same x-ray and they couldn’t see what on earth the Damira dentist was talking about. I’m not sure if the Damira dentist was just doing aggregate preventative treatment but no matter what - their assessment was clearly inappropriate, and the treatment unnecessary. NHS dentist even suggested it was just a cashgrab. Honestly, I feel a bit violated that this dentist was going to drill four of my teeth unnecessarily!!

Fantastic experience: Such a wonderful experience...I have been there for my reroot canal treatment and Dr Prannoy Vithlani did amazing treatment and explained to me everything precisely to keep good oral hygiene and that helps me a lot...I would recommend rerct with him as he has wonderful skills for RCT.
