Negative experience: Avoid avoid avoid atall costs, this dentist is only after your money, cannot provide adequate customer service, have had nothing but rude receptionist to a branch manager that promises to investigate matter and call back in a couple of days,which never accumulated to this day. Theyre happy to take a payment plan and also involve debt recovery for treatment that previous dentist failed to remove remainder of tooth. Who in their right mind makes monthly payments for a service thst they did not want to use after their appalling customer service. Would not recommend anyone in their right mind to use this dentist.

Negative experience: Been a patient with genix huddersfield for 8 years and still not offered an NHS place Needed an emergency appointment which the manager kelly was going to personally arrange and call me for due to a treatment by a genix clinician (currently being investigated by the general dental council for the past many weeks) I even rang to remind kelly at lunchtime as I had no response but I was told by the receptionist that she will ring me back in the afternoon The next day I ended up at an emergency appointment elsewhere Kelly completely blamed the clinician in her 1st response then blamed the receptionist in her 2nd response Funny thing is genix head office don't respond to emails, kelly was the complaints officer of a complaint she's involved in That's genix for you, shameless and unprofessional

Negative experience: My son paid privately for a denture it was a total nightmare mistakes was made.paid 700 pounds for a denture that doesn't fit very well not good at all and doesn't look nice very pore denture and fit and hobble experience.we dont have that kind off money spair but had to get a loan for somting that not even nice very bad experience manger did try help but was still a bad denture
Fantastic experience: I went in the toothache, fully aware my tooth would need removing, and they was amazing, put my nerves at ease, and I was in and out the chair in 3 minutes. 10/10 for both Simq and Aluna, you was both brilliant, thank you

Negative experience: I'm very disappointed with this clinic. After getting a filling, I've had to go back for a second time to have it corrected. This is my second visit to the doctor, and the same thing happened twice. I don't recommend it.
Fantastic experience: Very efficient and knowledgable service
Negative experience: I am a very nervous dental patient and this was my first hygienist appointment for 20 years. The hygienist was aware of this but didn’t explain fully what she would be doing. I felt underprepared for the work she did. I also struggled to hear what she was saying and had to ask for clarification. It also felt like she was rushing.
Fantastic experience: Fabulous service again for my routine checkup. Appointment ran on time, the team is super friendly and the clinician is so thorough and engages with you which puts me at ease. Thank you.

Negative experience: I have been a patient at Genix for a long long time, and unfortunately, the quality of service has significantly declined. Appointments are canceled, and it’s incredibly frustrating to be left waiting on the phone for long periods just to speak with the receptionist. On one occasion, I had to drive to the practice to get assistance because no one was picking up the phone. Additionally, the overall atmosphere has changed for the worse, and even the dentist’s attitude has become less welcoming.

Negative experience: Horrible experience, was in and out within 10 mins. You're just seen as a cash cow with no compassion. Like another patient has said in the reviews, I also got told that you could save the teeth with root canal but had received a refill. They kept going on about how expensive root canals are but didn’t understand why they couldn’t just do a root canal as I gone through the nhs. Would have cost me the same amount £27.40 for a root canal as it says on the nhs website. Rushed me out to speak to the reception to sign up for a monthly plan and discuss further treatment privately. I wouldn't visit this surgery again and don't recommend it. As you may have also noticed, all reviews get a default response which shows how much they care about the issues raised.

Negative experience: Receptionist were nice however I feel like I’ve wasted £27.40, I got told “you could save the teeth with root canal” but had received a “refill” they kept going on about how expensive root canals are but didn’t understand why they couldn’t just do a root canal as I gone through the nhs, so got my tooth “refilled” I’m guessing and got told “you will have problems in the future with your teeth get a root canal with your private dentist” ok but I had made a nhs appointment for that reason. Would have cost me the same amount £27.40 for a root canal as it says on the nhs website. Oh well what experience that was travelled from Bradford to Huddersfield for this….

Negative experience: Booked a hygiene appt for Monday, received a call on Saturday asking to change appt time to 10am which was fine, to then get another call to 5 minutes later to actually say the hygienist is now off on Monday, and not back until September. Make your minds up! Had issues with the payment plan, where nobody seemed to know what was going on, or where the money was, overall it has not been a good experience with this practise.
Negative experience: I had a very disappointing experience. No proper communication, I was hurriedly dismissed.

Negative experience: Clean practice and lovely staff, however, I visited for an emergency appointment and was given a filling. I was then told that I will probably need a root canal and it would be £600 and they charge £1000 at other places. I have now got a bad infection that started the morning after, I'm on two sets of antibiotics, been to A&E and waiting to have the tooth pulled. I feel like a root canal or extraction would have been the best option to start with and stopped me having 3+ extra days of severe swelling and pain. I didn't appreciate being told how much it would cost if I was to go back when it should have been done to start with. It feels like a filling was done to make me go back and spend money privately.
Fantastic experience: I had to remove my wisom tooth as it caused my mouth to get wonded and it was growing diagonally and was infected so they did great job , didnt feel a thing and didn’t have much blleding , Thank you Doctor as i couldn't thank you with the thing in my mouth. .

Positive experience: Took my 7 year old ADHD/ASD son for an emergency appointment. The lady dentist wasn't at at all child friendly, she didn't try to conversate with him, make him feel comfortable and didn't have any patience. As soon as we left he cried, due to being in more pain from the xray trays. As a positive we was seen on time and received the anti biotics he needed.

Negative experience: Last visit dentis told me i have a gap in between of my thooth, and I need a filing, I make a appointment to do filing , I take a day off from my work , I made a plan , I spend my time to reach there , but this visit she told me , no you don't need a filing at all .waisting my time , and my money. They just charge me to see her for lass than a 2 min . Are they need just money? Not happy at all .

Negative experience: Awful experience at this practice. I was referred by the emergency dental service while in severe pain. The dentist should have at least started a root canal procedure to relieve the pain, but instead did nothing at all. I left in just as much pain as I arrived, with no treatment or proper care provided. I went through a different practice who did do the procedure. I am now being repeatedly chased for a payment I do not owe. I clearly informed them that I’m exempt from charges and even followed up with an email to confirm this, yet they continue to pursue

Negative experience: Terrible. Had an emergency appointment for tooth abscess. Given a prescription. Took it to boots. The pharmacy asked me to go back and ask the dentist to change it from 4 times a day to 3, so wouldn't overdose. Got it changed and collected the prescription. Got home, looked the patient information sheet.I couldn't take them due to a health condition, which they were aware of. Rung the following day, they did a different prescription. My friend collected it for me. When they went to my local pharmacy he to her to told her to query it as they had only prescribed 250mg instead of 500mg. I rang the following day just to be fobbed off. Fuming.

Negative experience: Not a good experience first time especially to bring ease and reassurance to my 14 year old son who’s not required filling or extraction and that is not comfortable in this dental setting. Experience was enough that had frightened him. I have been here before and not experienced such abrupt service from the dentist. But on recent return, it was the dentist’s assistant that provided excellent reassurance and was not cut throat and I do think off the back of her reassuring attitude that the dentist followed and resulted in my son being calm. One star for the first appointment but three for second. There are other little niggles but I’ll see how this goes on as I’m still nervous how this will progress.

Negative experience: Travelled over as an emergency for treatment by train for 2 hours, only to get there and be in the chair for less than 10 minutes to be told no treatment would be carried out. Given antibiotics that have failed to work previously. Given urgent referral to yet another dentist that can only see me in February! Left in terrible pain and no further forward.
Fantastic experience: I was made to feel safe . Every step is always carefully explained and my dentist is very gentle. Reception staff are warm and welcoming. IT systems i.e. sending appointments and paperwork via texts are efficient

Negative experience: I was very upset with the service I received, the dentist was very un professional and felt I was been treated bad as I am on benefits and as I wasn't treated in the way other patients were treated. I was made to look stupid when I didn't give the right medication, she took an xray and basically put it down my throat which made me gag and it scratched the back of my throat. This was not exceptional. The dentist told me my diagnosis but had her back to me the full time she was talking which I found was very rude, my friend was with me and she said I can't believe the way she treated you that is out of order. I worked in dental for 14yrs at the Princess Royal dental needs clinic and we have never treated anybody the way the dentist did yesterday. You have to make patients calm and have a good understanding this was the worst experience I have had to go through. The dentist was not friendly not even a hello or good bye, you should not talk to a patient with there back towards you that is rude and inconsiderate. I would gave been appropriate if she she spoke to me directly and not with her back turned.... Kind Regards Jayne

Positive experience: The lady on the front desk was very polite. I got told by 111 to go here. Got seen literally straight away but the dentist only took 2 minutes to notice the issue and gave me a phone number to call. I paid £26 for a 2 minute appointment which I’m sorry but it isn’t acceptable as I was expecting her to check the rest of my teeth to see if there was any other issues.

Negative experience: Absolutely horrible experience with this dentist, they first struck off my daughter who is under 5 without any communication, we wasn't even awake she had missed an appointment as we never made one& they have now struck me off because they kept cancelling my check ups an now I don't have a dentist an in extreme pain. They have no care for NHS patients, when I payed private I had no problems. Do not recommend this dentist.
