Fantastic experience: I never used to smile in my photos. Now, all I do is show off my teeth every chance I get ❤️ I have NEVER EVER had any type of bad experience or any issues whatsoever with this practice. This includes the receptionist that has dealt with me. My latest appointment 11/12/24 went smoothly. I have always been made welcome, and the friendliness always makes me happy to stay a little longer for a chat. Thanks for your work on my teeth

Fantastic experience: It has been just over a year now since I first walked into the Smile4U dentist in Addiscombe. It was the best decision I have ever made. This is one of the best practices I have ever been to and I am not a fan of going to the dentist. Mobin is the gentleman who greets you with a lovely smile and makes you feel at ease. Next is Anna my NHS dentist who has a great personality and a true professional that enjoys her job and does it very well. Anna has rescued me from a disaster with a broken front tooth to the most amazing repair with a perfect smile as we were going on holiday the next day. It was my first visit and I was made to feel so at ease and comfortable that I have been there ever since. I even decided to go ahead with an implant full bridge, this was carried out by Dr Mori (private) an amazing specialist in her field and I now have an even bigger smile thanks to Dr Mori. I can’t recommend this surgery enough, if you are like I was and feeling nervous and uneasy about visiting the dentist then give Smile4U a try, you have nothing to lose and everything to gain. Highly recommended.

Negative experience: Very suspect. Was quoted 10k for all the procedures I needed apparently and similar thing happened to family members. I switched to bupa wallington and the review there made me thing that this place really exaggerates. Thank God I didnt buy in to the unneccesary treatment. Waheeda although was really good.

Fantastic experience: I was made welcome when I arrived at the practice and throughout the procedure. The procedure was a particularly difficult one and lasted 3 1/2 hours. Throughout the procedure I was told what was happening and asked how I was feeling. This allowed me to relax as much as possible and, at one point, I nearly fell asleep; this seldom happens when I’m in a dentist’s chair. The dentist called the next day to inquire how I felt.

Fantastic experience: My recent visit to the dentist was surprisingly pleasant! As soon as I arrived, I was greeted by the friendly receptionist, who made the check-in process easy and comfortable. The waiting room was bright and welcoming, with soothing music playing softly in the background. When it was my turn, the hygienist called me back with a smile. She explained what the cleaning would involve, which made me feel more relaxed. The cleaning itself was gentle but effective, and I appreciated how she frequently checked in to ensure I was comfortable.

Fantastic experience: Went for my routine visit to the Oral Hygienist, easy to book online, Saturday appointments available too. Always greeted through the door with a welcoming smile. Seating/ waiting area clean and modern. Oral hygienist is lovely, knowledgeable and caring. I'm a bit of a nervous patient, but she made me feel relaxed and at ease. Checking that everything was ok throughout the treatment. Lovely dental practice, that's why all our family is registered with them.

Negative experience: Poor customer service Unfair treatment Delayed service Timewasting Lack of consent 11/10/24 I signed up to the dentist because the receptionist said I had to be sign up before they could book an appointment for me. My appointment was booked for 4.30pm then changed to 4.20pm when I asked why they said it was so the whole checkup could take place. I tried to change the appointment to an earlier fate or time on the Saturday but they said there weren't any dentists available. I was advised to call early on Monday which I did but there weren't any cancellations. I wasn't able to fill out the forms sent via email due to health and also not being comfortable with this format. I arrived at my appointment on time, quicky filled out the relevant forms and waited to be called in. The receptionist on the day of my appointment pretended to not be the receptionist I had spoken to over the phone when registering. I waited and was called in at 4.30 after the patient had left. The appointment was booked as an emergency appointment instead of a general appointment. However the dentist still took a picture of the tooth impacted without my permission or consent. She told me to book another appointment with the receptionist to check my whole mouth because they couldn't schedule a root canal without checking my whole mouth. I now know this is not the correct procedure and suspect my data was being misused. When I tried to book the appointment the receptionist said his colleague would book it tomorrow. He said the practise was closed from the friday 4 a month. However, when booking an appointment for another client he was able to offer an appointment in 2 weeks time. He was not dressed in a manner which confirmed he worked at the dental practise and did not have a name badge on. He was dismissive, belittling and degrading in his tone saying things that suggested I wanted 'special treatment' because I needed 2 book another appointment. He took other patients and made me wait before offering an appointment in a month's time. He made comments such as 'you just want things your way', 'this is the process of you', 'this is how we do for you'. Making it clear that I was receiving different and unfair treatment. I disclosed being ill over the weekend and he said 'all it is are some forms it's simple' I disclosed the need to take a cab and stay in the city for the appointment which was recorded incorrectly therefore leading to a wasted appointment where pictures and xrays were taken. He claimed I was late and took 10minute to fill out the form which is why a general appointment couldn't take place. This wasn't true. I expressed that I felt misled into signing up and attending the appointment, he became aggressive in his manner, sweating and accusatory raiding his voice saying I could go elsewhere. I was never asked to leave. I responded that I'm already here so might aswell continue with the treatment plan. I asked was forced to wait for the appointment email to come through due to ill health I chose to do this sitting down, at one point he rudely demanded I sit down. The appointment came as a reminder email, I left as soon as it was received. He caused immense delays, me leaving the practise, talking in circles, making excuses, disregarding my need for an appointment, making me wait whilst seeing other patients before eventually booking in the appointment offered. I had to provide my number again, various information was recorded incorrectly alongside my name and title. The appointment was booked with a dentist that is not on the website and therefore I cannot confirm this is a qualified dentist I have been booked in with. They also said I needed an hour appointment but booked me in for 40minutes. As I was typing this feedback I received an email full of false allegations, claims I was in there for 45minutes after my appointment but I left after receiving confirmation email. Due to experiencing this type of har@ssment I evidenced our convo, reporting to GDC for abhorrable treatment & lack of service & ICO 4 data breach.

Fantastic experience: Just finished root canal treatment with Ann! I cant thank her enough, i honestly didnt feel a thing throughout each visit and was made to feel welcome each time. I hope the mouse of a man that i was apparently racist to is reading this, you were swearing and threatening to a young lady old enough to be your daughter!!! I asked you to stop and yoy werent man enough to speak to me that way, end of story! How brave of you to say in your review that you were going to go to your car and “ get something “ to teach me a lesson? I wish you had of done little man!! Funny!! Little guys like you that swear at women need to be taught a lesson. Anyway my experience at smile4u has been great, thank you Ann and all the other staff, you are doing an amazing job!!

Fantastic experience: Dr Furqan Ali recently treated me with an emergency root canal - I was very nervous about the procedure but it was absolutely painless and seamless. He gave me appropriate and detailed after care advice and demonstrated how to use interdental brushes which I hadn’t been aware of before. He has definitely filled me with confidence to look after my teeth better. The reception staff have also been excellent in accommodating long appointments for me at short notice. Thank you!

Negative experience: Booked online for a 5pm appontment. They phoned up the day before to tell me the hygenist doesnt work after 3pm.

Negative experience: I was having a tooth pain for about five days and keep getting worse so I made appointment for Tuesday morning and it was a young lady dentist exam me,she shouldn’t be dentist yet was unprofessional and acting like a child,she telling me it’s just a small rutten,you have to clean it, I had told her It’s painful she was to aggressive I told her You go to do something about it, she’s become more aggressive and rude to me, then I left the room, went to reception to make complaining,it was some another there customer next to reception he been racist to me try to fight with me I left building went to my car to take something in my car and come back to give him a lesson, but then think about the owner and the manager didn’t want to give them a bad reputation in the area ,also for sake of the receptionist from India he was so kind

Negative experience: I do not recommend this Dentist. It was a nice, family run place before and now it's so expensive and they don't care for their patients. I paid part of my hygenist appointment in advance and when I couldn't make it due to a family emergency, they took as a deposit. It was never a deposit. I just paid some of it in advance as I had the cash. Mr Duthie would never have done that, having known my family for years and that I wouldn't be lying if I said my son was ill.

Negative experience: I went to this dentist and had an x ray done ….. they said there is nothing wrong with my teeth.. I proceeded to tell them there is and they had another look then said there was decay in multiple place but they don’t need a filling….. went back again 6 months later for a general check up and a different dentist told me again that there was nothing wrong. I pointed out again that there was and then they check the SAME X-ray and said I needed two fillings ( the same X-ray that they said my teeth are fine). I left because why am I point things out when they are the qualified dentist from 0 fillings to two

Negative experience: Unfortunately I wouldn't recommend this based on my experience. I found it odd that the hygienist also did my check up and fillings. This staff member was lovely but they are a dental therapist not a dentist. I feel misled because I wanted to see a dentist because I have had complex dental issues in the past. Anyway I went to a different dentist for a checkup and loads of things were missed previously and they said the quality of the fillings I had here were not to a good standard and to be redone. Also most of the reviews below are fake which I feel is very disingenuous.

Fantastic experience: I had an appointment for a hygienist clean today and was seen straight away by the lovely Vahida. She was very reassuring, explained what she would be doing and also mentioned that I must let her know if I have any discomfort at any time. She was gentle, kind and we chatted away even before I started which helped ease my nerves as I'm not a big fan of dentists. Would definitely recommend Vahida and the nice gentleman at the reception.

Fantastic experience: My new favourite dentist!!! Mosab is so kind and caring he even worked through his lunch break to sort out my emergency filling repair. He’s also very reassuring if you are nervous. This is my second visit now and again booked in promptly and treated to a high standard. Can’t recommend this dentist enough! Have booked for a clean next week this is not something I normally do as previously dentist have hurt me and don’t seem to care. I feel absolutely confident with mosab.
