Fantastic experience: Been attending Ghylmount practice now for more years than I care to admit and have never found all staff there to ever give my wife and I any reason to even consider another practice. All are polite professionals and never give anything less .

Positive experience: I was very happy with my recent dental check up and appointment with the hygienist.

Fantastic experience: I trust my hygienist to do everything necessary to protect the long term health of my teeth. As usual I was treated with professional courtesy and received very thorough and comprehensive treatment .

I had my treatment with sedation and it couldn’t have gone better. I am very happy with the outcome and can confidently smile again. I will now happily go to have my regular checkups at this practice.

Fantastic experience: Thank you so much to the brilliant team at Ghyllmount Dental - I never thought visiting a dental practice could be such a pleasant experience. I am over the moon with my visit. Dr Ruben Martinez listened to the problems I am encountering with jaw pain and after assessing the situation described what was causing it and gave me some treatment to alleviate the problem. The pain in my muscle has reduced lots over the 3 days since treatment and I am confident it will continue to improve more over time. I won’t hesitate to revisit if I need further treatment. A true professional - thank you!

All the staff converse with you and set you at ease prior to your treatment. Due to my current state of health I received sympathetic hearing and very good advice regarding my future dental treatment, needless to say I am very satisfied with all aspects.

Fantastic experience: I had my first filling on Friday and to say the least I was scared but the lovely Jazz and her helper (sorry didn't get her name) were amazing talking to me and told me what was coming so I wasn't anxiously waiting for the next thing and I was able to take breaks when needed. I have another appointment in a couple weeks and although fillings are never nice I know it will be pleasant enough

They were amazing with my two little girls. The receptionist ( I feel terrible as cant remenber names) was brilliant with them both. Letting them know there would be a sticker at the end if they were very good for mummy in her appointment. Making an experience that could of been extremely stressful nearly stress free. I am 69 and have had awful experiences at the dentist from childhood and Mrs Anderton is the first dentist who I am not frightened to visit. I recommend Ghyllmount highly for nervous patients.

Fantastic experience: Can’t recommend Ghyllmount Dental enough, they have turned what was always a stressful experience for me into a calm, stress free experience. So glad I found them.

Negative experience: Being a private patient you would expect a good level of care for what you pay. Dentist is great- shame the receptionist and admin staff let the practice down. Cancelling appointments without informing me. Wouldn’t allow me to use the disabled toilet - or take my daughter in with me, just expected me to leave her outside with them when they are absolute strangers to her and myself with the excuse that they are DBS checked. I would never leave my child with a stranger so find this extremely strange to ask when she isn’t even 1 years of age. Also they did not even think to ask if I had a disability myself - very discriminating attitude. Very rude and patronising. Not a comfortable experience when you’re paying so much money!

Anna is excellent and completely puts at you at your ease, I would highly recommend her for anyone who is nervous about going to the dentist, she is so calm and pleasant and she never gets you to do unnecessary work on your teeth. In addition to this, all the staff I've dealt with at Ghyllmount are warm, polite and helpful, they really look after you. Highly recommended.

From the helpful receptionists, to Anna, my dentist who really does have the gentle touch, and Charlotte who always takes the time to make sure everything is right. Thank you. To follow my previous review, which I still stand by. I needed an extraction a couple of days ago. My dentist at the practice couldn't do it because it was a 'difficult extraction' so another dentist did it, I can only describe it as very traumatic, after the tooth being anaesthetised the dentist proceeded to prod the tooth very hard, the pain was unbelievable, the dentist said 'are you sure it just not the pressure?' Er? no! Anyway, he gave me more anesthetic and got the extraction completed. I just wish being a nervous patient I had been offered conscious sedation.

Fantastic experience: After many “different” experiences with the NHS dentist I decided to go private. I was recommended Ghyllmount Dental by everyone I asked. I was very nervous about going back to the dentist after a tooth extraction that went wrong but the dentists, receptionists, hygienist and dental nurses are all absolutely understanding and so comforting. Every time I go they remember me, they have such a personal touch. Now my whole family goes and we enjoy our dentist experience now.
