I was seen almost immediately and the dentist went straight to a solution - he was brilliant at keeping me calm. I am anxious when it comes to visiting the dentist and he put me right at ease.

Fantastic experience: I've been a patient here for a few years now. The reception and dental ladies are so very helpful and kind. They always put me at ease as I'm a bit nervous. I would have no hesitation in recommending the practice.

Positive experience: Very professional, polite and pleasant staff. However, the dentist had to add more Anaesthetic as the procedure was hurting so much. I was abused by a dentist when I was 5 and I explained this and told him that it left me with a phobia of needles. I asked if he would make sure he applied sufficient numbing gel and to adequately freeze my mouth and be gentle, talking me through the procedure as it happened. I felt extremely nervous and the procedure was very painful. When I told him he simply replied ‘it’s all in your mind’ I had previously had 4 extractions in Suffolk 2 years ago and hardly felt a thing. I am very nervous about returning to have the final root extracted. Sorry, but this wasn’t a good experience. Dr Charles Mackenzie

Fantastic experience: My husband and I are new to the Practice after a friend recommended them to us. We received a very quick initial appointment and an equally quick appointment for some work we both need done in just a couple of weeks. The staff are friendly and attentive and the dentist was professional and explained everything to us. We are very pleased so far with the service.

Positive experience: I attended the practice for my routine appointment with the hygienist. There were no other patents waiting and no receptionist. After a few minutes a nurse came through with another patient and took me through. The hygienist explained that the nurse was on her own today due to holiday and sickness. None of this presented any problems for me. The hygienist asked me questions relating to my teeth then carried on with the nurse to do my treatment. Very efficient service and felt very comfortable with the experience.

Fantastic experience: I felt very safe both entering and during appointment. Very adequate measures taken for safety of all involved. 2nd time at the practice during the pandemic. No problems involved and once again found measures taken to be very adequate and safe.

Fantastic experience: Previously I would dread going to the dentist. The week before an appointment the fear would creep in followed by tears ☹. We switched to Old Meldrum after our own dentist retired. I warned them about my anxiety and they were brilliant, helping me to overcome my fear. I can’t thank Vlad and the lovely staff enough for their help. It’s a bit of a trek to get to Oldmeldrum for us but I wouldn’t change it for the world. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: Meldrum Dental Practice is great and I always have a good experience when visiting the dentist or hygienist. The staff are all super friendly and chatty and despite having had a real fear of dentists my whole life, they always make me feel relaxed and glad that I went.

My dentist, Claire, was very thorough with my checkup and carefully explained a couple of queries I had. Delighted that no treatment needed at this time.

Positive experience: Fast and efficient. Bill was emailed to me before I'd finished my appointment, £60 seems steep for 7 mins work, but that's just the cost I guess. Annoying that they are able to take on private patients but not NHS.
