Fantastic experience: I had 2 fillings today and was absolutely terrified (scared of needles). Dr Samira and team were so amazing at calming me down and the fillings were done so quickly I was so surprised. The receptionists, especially Emma, are always so friendly and helpful. What a brilliant dental practice and thanks for helping me conquer my fear! Can’t say I am looking forward to my next filling but I’m definitely not as terrified as I was :) 10/10!

Negative experience: Seriously gone down hill. Went for a checkup and the dentist asked me 2 questions, counted my teeth and then said they all look fine. Took less than 2 minutes and charged £27.40.

Negative experience: 1) This dentist referred me incorrectly for wisdom tooth extraction. The dentist said I was being referred to hospital for general anesthesia but when I was contacted for the surgery it was for local anesthesia. I did query this with East Dulwich Dental Care but was dismissed. When I arrived for the extraction (at another clinic) they said 'ideally you should have had this done in hospital but now you are here we will try'. This resulted in very traumatic extraction and a month off work because shards of tooth were left in my gum. 2) When the above led to severe pain and infection, East Dulwich Dental Care couldn't see me because they had stopped seeing NHS patients. In the end I was hospitalised and I am still dealing with the impact 5 months later.

Fantastic experience: My first visit today, and if you’re wondering what they’re like here, I’ll simply say, amazing! I saw Dr Richard, and he was so calming, respectful, bubbly, considerate and thoughtful. I’m a big wuss, but he had patience with me and calmed my nerves. His assistant( I can’t remember her name, think it begins with an “S”, was just as lovely. From beginning to end, they were professional, welcoming and all the good stuff. Positive experience: I wasn't totally happy with my experience on this day of my appointment because, the price I was told for my white filling was more than what I was charged. This was embarrassing on the day and knocked of all other positiveness I experienced. Pls ask for the cost of your treatment with evidence before you start.

Positive experience: My hygienist seemed confident and competent. I needed a very deep clean as l have gum disease. A strange jaw with crowded teeth. All four corners of my mouth had to injected and numbed for the procedure. l was told it would be 40 mins for £120. She was very very rushed and was not able to reassure me and ignored my concerns (in another world). She needed to plough on! It felt like an assault and l feel quite traumatised (during and after the procedure). It took her 15 - 20 mins to finish. Which explains the assault feeling. She reduced the fee to l think £ 100 or £ 105. I would like compensation for this especially as l have had to make another appointment to see someone else to calmly help me and check her...the work. The 3 or 4 stars are that l assume the actual job was infact done. She really needs extra training in kindness, warning patients, empathy and customer care. Compensation l expect is £60. Compensation for trauma is up to the practice. I am a 63y NHS nurse. Appointment was Christine Andrews at 3.30 pm.
Fantastic experience: As a family we’ve been going to East Dulwich Dental care for many years and always received very good care and advice, children and adults alike from Dr Fosang, our previous dentist at EDDC, and now from Dr Osa. Dr Osa and Dental Nurse Aisha are excellent practitioners, and as a nervous patient in the dental chair, their friendly calm and professional approach is very reassuring. Jenny and team at reception are helpful and welcoming too, all in all a superb local service.

Fantastic experience: Went in for a clean as I haven't been to a dentist in years. Very happy with the result, I preferred the metal instrument than the machine. Painful but worth it the section of my teeth that needed it is free of debris. Hygienist was very kind and paitent with me.

Positive experience: They worked hard to ensure there was no waiting time as my wife has Alzheimer’s and has kicked off in the waiting room . However still a 25 minute wait . The dentists work very hard to work with my wife who is late stage Alzheimer’s so it must be hard for them . Thank you for the care .

Fantastic experience: First time at this dentist, usually I am very nervous. As soon as I entered the premises at around 15:40 for my appointment. I was greeted by staff made me feel at ease quite quickly. Was seen within 5 minutes so waiting time was very good. I can imagine certain periods will be busier. The dentist and her assistant were very professional in their duties. All in all I personally would say its deserves 5stars.

Fantastic experience: I found the whole experience very easy. Saw the dentist Dr Ali quickly. He assessed my situation and treated me without the need to come for another appointment. Fantastic experience: Dr Ali was excellent - I had a more serious problem than I thought requiring root canal work. Since I was about to go away, rather than doing something temporary Dr.Ali worked hard and did the root canal. He was clear, precise and considerate, very focussed on his work. I attended a third time to have the crown fitted, Dr Ali was again quick, very competent and producing a great result. Attended again today to have an old crown which had fallen out reinserted. Dr. Ali was again informative, efficient and clearly explained the issue and sorted me out. Attended again 26 October. Dr. Ali remains clear and courteous, explaining what needs to be done going forward and what the options might be and their likely cost.
