Negative experience: One of the receptionists is the most unpleasant unprofessional member of an otherwise excellent team. She messed up my husband and I’s appointment times and despite realising her mistake, didn’t apologise till after I had pointed out to her that we would now be required to wait for an hour between appointment times. She created the most unwelcoming atmosphere in the waiting room. She offered no assistance to someone who was struggling to complete the medical form. She literally shouts at people who push the locked door, assuming it to be open. I will be making a formal complaint and won’t be returning, despite the dentist and hygienist doing excellent work. She is like this on every occasion. She does not represent your business well.

Negative experience: I sent an email a week ago to request my personal data and x-rays ,no one replied to me ,tried to call several times no answer ,today I was in a long telephone que for more than 30 minutes and when finally someone pick up the phone they immediately hang up on me ! Absolutely terrible service .I'm glad I'm no longer patient there ! Will appreciate If manager contact me and finally send me the information what I need .

Fantastic experience: Really pleased with all round great service, it can be a little difficult to get through on the phone sometimes to book an appointment, I think calls might go to a call centre but I just call in at the surgery to book mine.

Positive experience: I have always had a good experience at this dentist, however, each time I call to book an appointment I am on hold for at least 45 minutes if not longer. I can’t really believe that I am caller number 2 in the queue (as the automation says), and yet still I am holding for that amount of time. I tried to book online but the option I was looking for wasn’t there so I had no choice but to call. The hold music is also truly terrible and monotonous for that amount of time on hold.

Negative experience: Trying to get through to reception. Been on hold for nearly an hour being number one in the queue Given up and will go else way. Waste of time.

Fantastic experience: I had an app with Nicola and Katy she saw my son and was excellent. She gave him complimentary tooth coating on back teeth to prevent decay. I cannot recommend her and Katy highly enough Thank you for great service and also your kindly and patient way with nervous patients I returned for an appointment on Xmas eve for emergency wisdom tooth removal . Dr Brun was so kind professional and quick. I cannot recommend this dentist enough. The reception staff are very helpful also especially when arranging apps after school for the children The dentists are very patient and kind with children also. Thanks

Negative experience: Takes ages answering the phone, on Friday I waited an hour so I gave up, so I called 111 and they told me I need to be seen in 24 hours and they sent a referral to them and still haven’t heard anything back from them! Today I have been calling all morning and nothing… once I got my tooth sorted I’m switching dentist the receptionists are really slow so have fun trying to get an appointment

Negative experience: You can never get through to the place! And please don't give me the rubbish fob off about your receptionists trying their best. The calls are not going through to the individual practices. I've been in the dentist and never heard the phones go. You need to sort this out clearly, given the amount of people who have mentioned it. I tried two different numbers. I gave up after 35 minutes as I was still number 4 in the queue..!! Your phone system DOES NOT WORK!

Negative experience: All good with the exception of the receptionist. I'm not one to write negative reviews as i don't like to make peoples lives any more difficult than they already are (please see my other mainly five star reviews of random places), however my recent interaction with the reception at this establishment in the politest way possible left a lot to be desired. They clearly don't care about their patients well being and do not seem to care if someone is in pain. The dentists here are fantastic but I have to say the receptionists are not and by looking at other reviews I am clearly not alone in this assertion.

Negative experience: Impissible to get through on the phones. Constantly on hold for upto 20 mins and then cut off.

Negative experience: Absolutely shambolic. My husband has made multiple attempts to call and make an appointment but is permanently in a lengthy queue which then gets cut off . In exasperation we have twice now , in the last year walked to the surgery whilst calling the number. On occasion no 1 the receptionist didn’t look up for some minutes while my husband stood in front of her whilst calling the practice number. The receptionist just ignored the call and was not dealing with another patient. When my husband explained that he had perpetually been calling she simply shrugged. Last week , once again in exasperation that the phone is never answered we again walked to the surgery. The doors were locked no patients waiting. My husband rang the bell but the receptionist repeatedly ignored him. My husband shouted through the door that no one picked up the phone and he needed an appointment. The receptionist told him that as she was alone she could not open the door to which my husband replied well can you answer the phone instead ? She did not. Our family were patients here for 15 years under Erasmus. The experience was always personal , efficient and professional. After Erasmus left the children and I moved practice. My husband will now be doing the same.

From reception to the dentist and assistance I have been very lucky to get such a fantastic professional dentist so close to me being disabled and part of the NHS...The NHS need to get more funding from this awful government to help more people on the NHS its so hard to get a dentist so close to home let alone a fantastic dentist colosseum are amazing friendly caring clean and very professional kind regards chris Gibbons

Always extremely busy but never too busy to give a helping hand! I think that I'm right in saying that almost nobody enjoys attending the dentist, but the staff here make every effort to ensure that the appointment goes as smoothly as possible! Fantastic experience: Simply a delightful place for a not so delightful experience. All the staff are fabulous. I'm 58 years old and this is the best dental practice I've ever experienced. They are brilliant.

Negative experience: Dreadful. No one ever answers the phone or replies to email. The only way to get an appointment is to go in there and then you’re met with the grumpiest reception staff who seem pretty unwilling to help.

Fantastic experience: This dentist is great, busy and understaffed but lovely. My dentist is patient with my nerves and good with my son who has ADHD. He is always friendly, explains well and does not judge my struggle to keep my gums healthy just advises how to improve it.

Her knowledge, communication and attention is second to none. I’m a nervous patient when it comes to going to the dentist and Nicola always makes me feel at ease with all treatment, even my fillings! High recommend her!

Negative experience: Worst dental practice with both receptionists who are bloody damn rude( the younger one especially and the older woman too). Am so glad I removed myself from this horrid surgery. The dentist is good and so is the hygienist but good luck even if you can get them on the phone even after calling for 6 hours ! They never have emergency dentists despite us being private patients. The younger receptionist is always busy talking to her family on the damn phone. The older receptionist has no clue about earlier finances and then when questioned her for discrepancies in the bills, she had the audacity to say that let’s not moan about 2 pounds here and there. Like is this lady even out of her damn mind ? Does she give me these 2 pounds for free Oh and mind you, whether you have an issue or not, they will force you into having a 6 month follow up. There are other private amazing surgeries who only ask for a yearly follow up ! Ofcourse am joining those ones only ! Absolutely money scamming people. When you are in trouble, you will never get them on the phone or email, but once your 6 month follow up is due, you will receive endless messages and or emails from them! That’s how they are. Save yourself from this horror of a practice and go elsewhere.

Positive experience: Lovely dentist and the receptionists are very friendly, however I am a bit bewildered why it takes over 2hrs to answer a phone. Please take it off silence or just answer you'll find some people will only be 2mins on the phone. This is now becoming very frustrating and time consuming. Maybe the manager needs to be informed, 2+hrs in a queue and I've been number 2 for the whole 2+hrs this is not good. Please look into why it is taking you so long to pick up a phone

Negative experience: AVIOD AT ALL COSTS FILKING CAME OUT THEN AGES FOR APPOINTMENT (and reception never answering phone even tried outside suregery and reception just sat at desk ignoring phone and no replies to messages) due to wait got 2 absesses over last year 3 temp fillings all fell out within 30 mins then finally a crown(all of 4 minutes to fit ?) nearly a yr later each time no grinding or abrasion for fillings or Crown came out 3 hours later ,this surgery seems more interested in getting payment than patient care,will be taking this further,thank goodness i now have a dentist who knows what they are doing and with care

Fantastic experience: Excellent experience at this practice. Never had a single issue, appointments always prompt. Practice manager cannot do enough for you. Also my particular dentist Diego is very thorough and caring. Superb.

Negative experience: Be very careful at this dental practice. I booked and paid for appointments for myself, husband and eldest child. The appointment was cancelled due to staff COVID and we were told we would be called to rearrange the appointment. Today I learned that, despite having no contact and the practice still owing me a total of £72, we have all been removed from their books. I will be refunded the amount for my appointment but that is all and we have been told we will need to find another NHS dentist. Apparently they are not responsible for contacting customers even if they owe them money and it is the dental practice that has cancelled the appointment.
