Fantastic experience: The dental surgery runs very smoothly. It's very modern and spotlessly clean. The receptionists are very friendly and professional, demonstrating high personal culture. I am very pleased with Dr. Savan Desai who has a very professional approach to patients and he is characterized by good manners. He thoroughly examines patients before initiating appropriate treatment. He is also very communicative and efficient. Unfortunately, there's also a dentist I'd advise avoiding—Dr. Nadhia Mazid. Her communication and interpersonal skills are very poor; she's overly sensitive about herself and rude. She neglected my daughter's treatment, and when I pointed this out constructively, she simply told my 8-year-old daughter to leave the room without further treatment. This situation upset not only me but also the innocent child, as there was no reason to treat us with such disrespect. This dentist's behaviour was absolutely unacceptable! However, I don't think one substandard team member should ruin the reputation of this practice, so I wholeheartedly recommend Carillon Dental Care as I believe they provide excellent dental care overall.

Fantastic experience: Yesterday I took my Father in Law for an emergency appointment due him having pain with one of his teeth. He has the onset of dementia and struggles with his mobility. I cannot praise the team enough of how they made us feel so welcome. My Father in Law has always been scared of visiting the dentist but Shruthi was absolutely amazing with him. My Father in Law is slower with communication but she gave him the time to respond and made sure that he understood the procedure to be carried out. My Father in Law reports that the procedure was painless and that Shruthi has restored his faith in dentists! Needless to say he is very happy, so we would like to say a huge thank you and well done to the team xx

Fantastic experience: I really enjoyed my visit...was seen unusually by the dentist first. she examined my teeth thoroughly She said nothing about my teeth to me but I later learned that they had improved since my last inspection.I asked her a question about my white tongue....to which she firmly replied "Do not self medicate go and see your Doctor". Such positive advice. I did later that day see my Doctor.Thank you.

Negative experience: Beautiful reception, but unfortunately the only good thing I can say - I never ever leave reviews, especially bad ones, but I really feel as though this deserves to be posted. I have been a patient of Carillion Dental care for quite a few years, until now. It all started when I had root canal 2 years ago, and got made to sign a form saying I was a private patient even though I was not, I got charged £600 even though it should have been half that on the NHS, as this was the first time having root canal I thought this was normal prices, until a family member pointed out to me this was Infact private prices, when I called the next day I got told it wasn’t the dentists fault and that she could see both sides, but actually, I got fooled into paying private prices when I’m an NHS patient. I forgave this as they gave me a white crown for just £70, even though they were going to expect me to pay another £600 for this crown originally. Which again is a lot of money for someone who isn’t a private patient. About 3 weeks ago I came for an appointment after arranging childcare for my 6 month old baby which a lot of mothers know is not easy. I am also pregnant currently so I am entitled to free dental care right now, my tooth has been killing me for months and I got told I need another root canal but they can’t do it whilst I am pregnant, but she told me if it was that bad they can do it for me, but after coming to my follow up appointment as I was still in agony she refused to do anything to my tooth (I believe this is because it is free for me). Unfortunately this dentist has gave me the impression they are money grabbers and there is NO moral code with these dentists they just want your money. Absolute no moral code with the Carillion Dentists, VERY disappointed and so happy I’ve got into a new dentist! Please get your moral codes guys!

Fantastic experience: I recently had some fillings done by Mr Chetan Shah at this dental practice Brilliant service and very helpful and patience. The reception staff were friendly and I would recommend this practice

Fantastic experience: Dr Savan Desai is always so understanding with my anxiety and makes me feel at ease. He also is fabulous with mu autistic grandson. Just an all round nice guy and is so clear at every stage of what he needs to do. Hes done fillings for me, pulled at tooth and dealt with infection and I've had cleans with him. All staff are lovely too.

Fantastic experience: On Tuesday 4th March I had an emergency appointment with Shruti at Carillon as I had damaged a filling whilst eating. Shruti managed to remove the top of the filling with a pick instrument and then applied a coating of filling material that sealed the tooth. Shruti worked quickly and efficiently to complete the repair in about 15 minutes. I have complete confidence in all the dental work that she does. A very satisfied customer.

Positive experience: Excellent dentist, good reminders for appointments and phone calls, only criticism is they could do with being a bit clearer on payments amounts as not mentioned until after appointments, also have paid in advance previously and asking to pay again, having to show receipt. I think this could also do with improvement.

Fantastic experience: As enjoyable a visit to a dentist as a visit to a dentist can be. The tedious paperwork (medical history etc), that previously was completed at the dentist itself was completed online a few days before the visit. Carillon Dental Care sent me a text with a link providing secure access to enable me to provide the data needed. This is very handy when trying to remember the exact name of the medication you are on. On arrival, the receptionist checked that I had completed everything then asked me to take a seat. The waiting room was quite small, but very clean and the seating was comfortable. The Dentist called me on time and was friendly, polite and professional in manner. He then did a check up and identified a broken tooth that needed to be removed (yes, I knew it was broken hence the visit). He explained what the process for extraction, what aftercare was needed, the cost I would be charged (very reasonable on the NHS),. He then asked whether I wanted to have it removed immediately or book a later appointment. Ten minutes later, broken tooth was removed, payment made and a checked up booked for 6 months time. Only the payment was painful and not overly so. The only downside was that I was advised not to have any alcohol for 24 hours and there's a really nice pub within a 2 minute walk.

The reception staff are approachable and friendly and always have a smile on their faces. The care i receive from Shruthi is amazing. I am a nervous patient having had a really bad experience at a previous practice but she is friendly, patient and most importantly brilliant at her job. I never believed I would find myself laughing in a dentist chair but i am put so much at ease I find myself doing just that! Best decision I ever made. Thank you.

I appreciated receiving a reminder text before my appointment. As for the dental care itself, I cannot speak highly enough of the amazing dentists, particularly Mariam. She was not only skilled and knowledgeable but also incredibly cheerful and patient. She took the time to explain every step of the procedure, putting me at ease throughout the entire process. Overall, I highly recommend this dental practice to anyone in search of top-notch care in a welcoming environment. I will definitely be returning for all of my future dental needs.

Fantastic experience: I first came to this practice as they offered sedation and a filling had come out so needed quick treatment (my then dental surgery had no one available for over a month). That was in 2018 and I have remained there since, with no hesitation or regrets. As someone who can just about get through a check-up, a new dentist is daunting. No such problem here. I felt immediately at ease with my dentist,Shruthi. I have to have sedation for any treatment and the difference between this practice and my old one is that it's far more professional and they make sure you are safe to have sedation and understand any issues with other medications that might cause issues. They fully explain everything to you, with advice on what to do before and after the procedure. The practice staff are all welcoming and friendly, as well as being understanding. I also like that a lot of the staff have been there for longer periods - to me, it shows a happy workplace. The practice itself is not clinical either, which helps. If you are a nervous patient, and after having sedation elsewhere, I would also say this is the place to go. I have a family member who has also changed and is very happy.

Fantastic experience: We decided to have our teeth whitened as a Christmas present to each other. It's probably the best present we've ever given! The lovely Dr Hamil was amazing from beginning to end, very kind and caring. He explained everything to us, advised us on what would happen and we are so thrilled with the results- from the first time applying the gel, we could see a difference, especially on my husband's teeth. Due to an illness I had, my teeth are very crooked but they look so much better now, being white. We didn't want a Hollywood white, just a nice smile and that's what we've got. The nurse was lovely and helpful too and the receptionists are probably the best anywhere in Loughborough, friendly, efficient and kind. We cannot praise the practice highly enough, especially Dr Hamil, who has given us our smiles back. Thank you so much.

Fantastic experience: The dentist took time to very carefully explain all my options and the consequences of each option. I felt very welcome by the dentist and the receptionists. Being in a wheelchair, I am often made to feel like a second class citizen but never at Carillon. Everyone was kind and nice.

Check up itself went fine but when having x-rays it made my mouth really sore and caused a 24 hour headache, but that's just me Price charged was good as needed to buy a special brush too. Fantastic experience: I recently had the pleasure of visiting Carillon Dental Care, and let me tell you, it was a dental experience like no other! From the moment I walked in, I felt like I was entering a dental spa, complete with soothing music and a friendly team of dental wizards. Dr. Chuckles (not his real name, but he certainly lives up to it) was my dentist for the day. He greeted me with a warm smile and a joke that actually made me laugh, which is a feat in itself when you're at the dentist's office. He made me feel comfortable and at ease throughout the entire visit, which is no small task considering I'm usually more nervous than a squirrel in a coffee shop. The dental hygienist was an absolute delight. She wielded her dental instruments like a Jedi, making my teeth feel cleaner and shinier than a disco ball at Studio 54. She even gave me tips on how to floss like a pro, and I'm pretty sure I heard angels singing in the background as she did. In conclusion, Carillon Dental Care is not your typical dentist's office – it's like a dental vacation destination! If you're looking for top-notch dental care, friendly faces, and an experience that'll leave you smiling (pun absolutely intended), then look no further. They've got teeth covered from A to Z, and they do it all with a side of laughter.

Fantastic experience: Yesterday my 15 year old son had two teeth extracted under sedation and I can honestly say Shruthi, Emily and team were absolutely amazing with him. From his initial assessment a couple of weeks before, to undergoing the procedure, they have made him feel at ease and have gone out of their way to ensure everything went smoothly. From taking the time to find out what he likes to even holding his phone with his choice of video throughout the procedure. He had shown no fear of his usual dentist previously but would not let him near with injections so we found Carillon online and self referred I can't thank or recommend them enough.
