Fantastic experience: This is my fourth visit to Bancroft Dentistry. All the staff are consistently professional and friendly from the receptionists, to the dental assistants and of course to the the dentist. I am impressed with how well the practice runs with all the Covid restrictions. I have had a number of long treatments which in previous dentists I think I would have found very difficult. At Bancroft I have got through them very well. I feel this is due to the clear explanations and the expert and conscientious practise of the dentist. I am confident that he will always do the very best for my teeth. The results have been very pleasing. I would have no hesitation in recommending this dental practice.

Fantastic experience: My experience at Bancroft was fantastic throughout all my visits, Dr Fahd and team were great, very very professional, when he performed my main procedure, I admired till today the way together with Chloe they kept me informed of what was going on and throughout promised to look after me and that's exactly what they did, when they were busy working they made sure they kept me comforted by music of my choice that they put for me, they made me never to fear dentists anymore coz it's the fear that made my teeth go bad and for this, I shall forever owe to Fahd and team and i highly recommend Bancroft dentistry, they brought back my smile, they are amazing in their professional job. Fantastic experience: The team at Bancroft are fantastic. From start to finish I felt really comfortable, even though I get bad anxiety with anything dentistry related. I went for a wisdom tooth removal under sedation and the whole process was so easy. Around 6-7 days after the removal I had a bit more pain and called the clinic, they had me go in within an hour of my phone call to check all was ok. I would definitely recommend, and I can guarantee no one would ever have a bad experience here, as the staff are so attentive and knowledgeable.

Fantastic experience: Bancroft dentistry Hitchin is an absolutely amazing dentistry. I have always been scared of dentist due to a bad experience as a child. I went to Bancroft in desperation after years of neglect. They made me feel so welcome. They listened to me, taking things careful and checking that I was comfortable throughout proceedures. I felt cared for, valued as a customer and respected. I've been going regularly for a few years now, they know me very well. It's like popping in to see your friends. There prices are very reasonable. Never had any problems getting in touch or booking appointments. I like to smile now, thanks to this great team.

Fantastic experience: I am ridiculously nervous when attending a dentist appointment. However, I do regularly attend as I know I am always looked after extremely well at Bancroft dentistry. From the moment you walk through the door you meet Sue with her lovely, warm smile and friendly personality. My dentist, Frank, is so patient, kind and completely understanding. The hygienists have all been caring and considerate. All the assistants are lovely, kind and caring too and have got me through some difficult appointments! I recommend this surgery to everyone, especially very nervous patients!

I arrived as a nervous patient and now consider it a visit to see friends. Really good with the children and very tolerant of those who are a bit more anxious. Fantastic experience: I’ve had multiple treatments under the fantastic Andy Bolam over the last 18 months since he was recommended to me. Andy is excellent from start to finish, providing a full and thorough treatment plan and talking through all options along the way. Andy completed an incredible smile overhaul, including complex cosmetic bonding, fitted multiple Onlays and numerous fillings. Every treatment has been completed to an extremely high standard and I’ve been very pleased with the results. The practice team, particularly Sue, are the best I’ve experienced, very on the ball and super friendly and welcoming.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend this practice for being friendly and professional. I am a person who has hated the dentist from a very young child and had lots of treatment over the years. I grew up in the 'drill and fill' era when the dentist decided what was best without any real consultation. Thank goodness that has all changed. I now attend my appointments without fear in the knowledge that it will not be too bad. The staff are always very friendly, aware of my feelings and putting me at easy within minutes. They take the time to discuss all treatments with me and won't do anything until I am ready.

Negative experience: The hygienist was running 10 minute's late so my session was cut short….but the £ wasn’t.

Fantastic experience: Clinically the performance of this private practice is excellent .The accomodation is stylish ,and the receptionist knows each patient individually.Of course the charges reflect this , so Practice Plan monthly subscription membership secures regular treatment at a discount. Dental consultations are becoming more technically advanced ,but are still friendly.

It is spotlessly clean, modern and strikes that wonderful balance between being highly professional and exceptionally friendly. I was a complete nervous wreck when I first met Frank and his team. He took the time to reassure me , explaining in detail what treatment I needed at every visit . Nothing was too much trouble , as long as I was comfortable . I have now had several procedures and I am absolutely delighted with my new smile . From the lovely receptionist , nurses , anaesthetist you will not find a more caring and knowledgeable surgery. Fantastic experience: I am completely dentist phobic and need a lot of work done to my teeth, as much as I dislike the dentist Bancroft have been 5 star for me, they are kind reassuring and very understanding of my fear. I have been able to use the sedation which has been a game changer for me, I have had a few treatments now with sedation and have been blissfully unaware of what was happening. I cannot recommend highly enough.

Fantastic experience: I come to Bancroft after an upsetting experience with an nhs dentist in 2022. I was recommended by a family member. After three checkups and two hygienist appointments I’m over the moon with how my dental/gum health has increased in such a short space of time. They have time to teach and educate and be preventive with their treatments rather than reactive when something is wrong. My dentist is Frank and my dental nurse was Zoe.
