Negative experience: Our child went in with a cavity to be assessed, initially told it’s fine & just needs a filling, no x rays were done at this stage. Then less than a week later, we went in for a filling but were told it’s actually infected and needs to be removed ( clear to me it wasn’t assessed properly in the previous visit Being 6, our son was naturally a bit nervous about having to work done on his teeth. Because of this, the dentist had no empathy & no time for a fussy child, resulting in them refusing to do the work. I feel incredibly let down by this practice. Our son was left with an infected tooth, no advice for antibiotics or any real solution other than “find someone else” I would absolutely encourage anyone to find somewhere else.

I wasn't rushed and was well cared for. Laura is kind and explained everything she did before doing anything. I can't recommend Chudleigh dental practice highly enough.

Fantastic experience: Usually, dentist visits are unpleasant, painful, costly. Not here. The atmosphere is extremely welcoming, positive and professional. Only procedures that make sense will be proposed, and good old fashioned common sense is applied to any recommendations. The treatments themselves are as painfree and 'comfortable' as they can be. Overall the best dentist I have ever visited in almost 60 years.

I have a dental plan that is well worth the cost which includes an annual visit to the dentist for a a checkup and a half hour appointment with the hygienist. It isn’t expensive. Try Chudleigh dentist / you will be impressed.

Fantastic experience: It was my first visit to the practice having moved from Surrey to Chudleigh. I’m a bit of a wuss when it comes to dentists but all the staff were lovely and Mark Shaw and his assistant were very kind and reassuring. I’ve never had to pay upfront for a dentists appointment before, so that was a bit strange, however as a deterrent to stop people who don’t turn up for the appointments, it must be very successful.

Fantastic experience: 5* service from Mark and the team at Chudleigh Dental Practice today. I called up this morning in a lot of pain and with inflammation caused by my wisdom tooth and got given an appointment for the same day. The way they have set up the reception is very relaxing it doesn’t feel like you are in a dentist more just like a living room which eases any nerves while waiting. All staff were very kind and friendly. The consultation was thorough, Mark listened to me and the issue I was experiencing then resolved the problem which wasn’t painful and he gave good aftercare instructions to help prevent this from happening in the future. Pain is now relieved and I feel much better. I will definitely be going back to this dentist and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to others it is probably the best dentist I’ve ever been to. Fantastic experience: Time in the dentist’s chair is nobody’s idea of fun and can even trigger anxiety prior to the appointment. With Nuria, at the Chudleigh Dental Practice, I have absolute faith in her judgement and skill and never worry about going there for a check up or some work on my teeth. Today, for a 90 minute appointment, during the procedure, I was that relaxed I was almost asleep - my smart watch registered that I HAD gone to sleep . The team there create a very calm, pleasant atmosphere and I can HIGHLY recommend this practice.

The dental nurse (really sorry I have forgotten her name) was amazing. Seeing that I was nervous she spent time asking to me about random things to occupy my mind.
