Fantastic experience: Excellent. Dr Afzal Haque explained everything about the root canal procedure at the first appointment so I knew what to expect. He then worked extremely hard as it was not straightforward: my canals were longer than usual, narrow and one was hidden. He showed me what was done on an x-ray picture at each appointment. I was grateful that my dentist had recommended me to Dr Haque as I believe that I definitely needed his specialist expertise. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Arrived early just in case I could be seen as I had to be in Liverpool. Louise on reception was super helpful and arranged with both Ryan and Dan to be seen earlier. All great staff - made my train and happy days!!

Negative experience: Was good until they claimed not to know about my dental phobia that they'd known about and managed accordingly at several appointments until the most recent one. Then afterwards they're lying and saying they'd known about it even if the person treating me said at the appointment they didn't know. On top of that treatment hasn't been explained in full until I emailed and asked for it and the response I got back was in medical terms so I had to use ChatGPT to understand what was actually happening. Just hope they learned from it and will take nervous patients seriously at every appointment and not just when they join. Sophie has been great though and highly recommended! The rest are dishonest and have been straight up lying. There's no responsibility when they get it wrong. Update: after going to another dentist it was definitely the right choice to leave here as I went somewhere that is much more pragmatic and it turns out what they were treating me for here was highly exaggerated so it has been cheaper changing as well.

I had also an extra CT-scan, to clarify the situation, which turned out to have extra information, that otherwise would not have been seen. Fantastic experience: As a nervous patient, visiting a dentist, especially a new one can be daunting. Daniel came highly recommended, and from my very first appointment, he was incredibly patient, understanding, and attentive to my concerns. He created a clear treatment plan, which helped me feel more at ease knowing what to expect at each visit. Over the course of a few weeks, I had a couple of fillings and two wisdom teeth removed, and I received the highest level of care throughout. Fantastic experience: Update:- Just had an emergency appointment with Daniel. Was a bit worried as my usual dentist is on holiday but nothing to worry about. Just had the GBT/Airflow clean off Ryan the dental hygienist. The best clean I have ever had, my teeth feel immaculate, so fresh! The warm water makes it so much nicer than than the old style cleaning too. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I was referred here for a root canal operation. I'm not normally one to recommend a dental practice, but these guys are good. I almost fell asleep during my operation, I was so relaxed. I was nearly disappointed when it finished - I'm sure I've felt more stressed after a massage. The service is top-notch from start to finish. Tremendous stuff, lovely people. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Even though I had to go for a filling/tooth repair (never cheap no matter where you go!) it was a pleasant visit. The staff are always friendly and chatty, make you feel welcome. Daniel as a dentist is always cheerful, keeps the conversation light and doesn't ask too many questions when he has his fingers in your mouth. Fantastic experience: I came here after being kicked out of my nhs dentist with a view to joining their dental plan if I liked it. All the staff have been so welcoming and helpful. Zahara has got to be the loveliest dentist I have ever had. Explained things I had never been told, very thorough check up. Also the best and most thorough hygienist visit and had a quick appointment with Sophie who was lovely. Really feel at ease here and everything is explained in full detail. Joined the dental plan which seems to very good value.

Fantastic experience: Daniel was very reassuring when I went yesterday. I had not been for a while because of Covid restrictions and my own health issues, and now need some work doing. I am sure we can get it done in time and that Daniel will sort it out. Update: when I went to Daniel again, yesterday, he did a big filling and he was excellent. He explained everything that he was going to do, and gave me time to relax in between each part of the process. He takes a lot of time giving advice for after the treatment. If anyone has put off going to see the dentist, make an appointment with Daniel! Update: Daniel is very caring and does not pressurise me into having a procedure done until I am ready for the treatment. Update: I have just been to see Sophie for an emergency appointment and subsequently have had 2 teeth extracted. She is extremely caring and efficient, and explained everything about the procedure and options available. After taking an X-ray, and then giving me 2 local anaesthetics, she was able to remove the 2 teeth very efficiently. Sophie discussed everything with me very thoroughly, including after care, and it went extremely smoothly. I am very pleased with the outcome of my emergency procedure, and grateful that I could get an appointment quickly. Another update for another emergency appointment. I rang up at 9 am and saw Zahra at 12 md the same day. My tooth had broken, next to the 2 teeth that had been taken out. Zahra was able to take it out without any problems, and very efficiently. Everyone there was extremely helpful, and I am very grateful for all their support in my old age! I went for my routine 6 monthly check ups today to see Ryan and Daniel. Ryan made a good job of helping to keep my teeth clean and giving me advice. Daniel took time to advise me about the options available to sort out the gap between my missing teeth. No pressure to do anything, just helpful advice. Very reassuring. I saw Daniel again as an emergency because my Crown had come off. He put a dressing on the remaining tooth to be going on with, until such time ️ that it will need to be removed. Daniel went into great detail about the options available and explained how a Bridge could be used later. Again, he was very informative, and put me under no pressure. Daniel and Ryan remain as excellent as ever, giving me lots of information and advice and not putting any pressure on me to have things done. Yet another emergency appointment! I phoned up at 9 am and saw Zahra at 11am, who quickly sorted out the problem! She had also referred me to see the dentist at TGH for a consultation about a longstanding issue, so this is also being addressed. Thanks again for the support. RosemaryReynolds. I went for my routine appointment yesterday to Stretford Road dental practice. The Receptionist came running out to me when she saw that I was having difficulty with my walking, and quickly made alternative arrangements for me. She even went to get my walker out of the boot of my car because I was struggling with my walking stick. Daniel and Ryan then made arrangements for me to have the treatment done on the ground floor so that I didn’t have to climb up the stairs. Fantastic experience: I got referred here for a root canal treatment. It was a complex case as it was through a crowned tooth so I was very anxious for obvious reasons. Dr afzal was absolutely amazing, talked me through all options thoroughly and when we made a decision made sure I understood it all. The team was very patient with me during the appointment and ensured I was comfortable. I’m very pleased to say it all went to plan and now I’m sure what I was even scared of! Fantastic experience: I was referred here from Amit Chadda from Circle Dental as I needed a specialist root canal. I was feeling really anxious as the cost is £925 for a root canal. Had my consultation which is £150. Met Afzal who does the root canal procedures and he is such a nice chap we had a good banter as he knows old Trafford really well. Afzal did an xray of my tooth and explained everything in detail and it was up to me if I wanted to go ahead or not. I felt more relaxed and came to a realisation I really need the treatment done. So have booked in to start the treatment soon. I would highly recommend this private practice and staff are all very friendly. Update: Had my root canal treatment with Afzal and from start to finish it was done professionally and was totally painless , best thing was my tooth was saved. In my whole life experience going to the dentist this was the most painless experience ever and even a day after the treat my mouth feels normal with no pain, swelling etc, could just be a delay as everyone’s body functions are different in healing but as they say, what you pay is what you get. Fantastic experience: I have nothing but good words to say about my experiences here, after being referred for specialist root canal treatment by my usual dentist due to the more complex nature of my issue. Dr. Afzal and team were not only fantastic professionals, but also made me feel so at ease from the moment I stepped into the treatment room. It felt like I was with friends from minute number one. My tooth was particularly inflamed, meaning that we needed to split the treatment into two sessions to allow time for it to settle down before we were able to finish the deepest parts of the nerve. I had been experiencing severe pain (some of the worst pain of my life) for weeks, but the treatment I received at my initial session stopped all of that. The actual root canal treatment itself was completely painless and I felt very comfortable the whole time I was in the chair. I was talked through every single step of the treatment, which made me feel even more comfortable about it all. I have now finished my treatment, and it has been a resounding success thanks to the fantastic work of the team. I wouldn’t ever hesitate to recommend Stretford Road Dental to anybody in the future!

Fantastic experience: I was very scared before having root canal surgery, however it went really well with minimal discomfort and no pain. I was well looked after and reassured by the skill of the dentist who is clearly outstanding in this field of dentistry, so I feel I can really trust him and relax.

Fantastic experience: I was transferred to Stretford road dental via my own dentist for special root canal treatment. I can't praise Afzal enough. What an amazing guy he is! He throughly explains everything to you & ensures you're happy from start to end. His wife Zahra even came in to say hello. Such lovely, genuine humans. I would most definitely go back for any future treatment I may need. Thanks for everything guys.

Fantastic experience: After a very traumatic week in which my tooth infection was missed by an emergency dentist resulting in worsening and unbearable pain, I can’t rate this practice highly enough. They have always been great but the care and compassion I was shown by the receptionist both on the phone and when I arrived and by Zahra and her lovely dental nurse when I was in floods of tears, were above and beyond. I am so grateful. Zahra took every step needed to manage my pain so that she could get the tooth out and was gentle, kind and reassuring throughout. She even phoned me later that evening to see how I was getting on. Thank you all very much I am truly grateful.

Fantastic experience: I'm currently half way through a full mouth restoration and implant surgery. Since my first appointment I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Hassan took time to listen to my needs and create a plan, which he's proceeded to implement to perfection. His nurses, Clare and Louise, have been brilliant, keeping me informed and reassured throughout. I couldn't recommend Stretford Road more highly!

Fantastic experience: I was referred to Stretford Road Dental Surgery for root canal treatment on one of my molars. Afzal and Kerry were so welcoming and spoke to me through out the entire procedure, explaining what the next steps were. They’re an experienced endodontics duo and the treatment itself flew by. Fantastic experience: My first time at this dental surgery, all staff so nice and friendly. Straight away i was made to feel welcome. Fantastico it took 4weeks from start to finish. And yesterday I came out with bottom new dentures. I'm so pleased with the end product. Fantastic experience: Can't speak highly enough of the first class attention I received after emergency appointment.Everyone gave 101%. The underlying problem was explained very well . There was no option except to remove the offending tooth which was done very efficiently and caringly with lots of encouragement. Great care was taken to ensure that I was feeling ok before I left and that I understood how to follow up at home. No one enjoys going to the dentist but all the staff do their best to make it as relaxed as possible.
