They have a very nice and well maintained practice, and they were able to help me very fast. I had both my hygiene and filling appointments and they went very smoothly! Positive experience: On reading all the great reviews and having a family member use this dentist in an emergency, they told me they were really great. So when my back tooth all of a sudden stated hurting, I called at 2pm when they open after lunch but the phones were on answer machine, I called back around 10 past same thing. Finally at 14.16 someone answered, I explained I'm a new patient and have tooth ache and if I could see someone this Friday. She stated that I could see the dental therapist.. at 14.20, I was questioning what a therapist does and how they are different to a dentist. She explained a little and then got slightly rude and stated "I've got other customers," I said OK can I book the appointment. She took some details and said I'd get a questionnaire, and my appointment would be 14.45?! After the call I was taken a back at how rushed, unapproachable, and rude she was. I decided to call back at 2.45 to ask for her name, a lovely young lady answered the call. I explained i have an appointment on Friday, she looked it up. I explained that I had called earlier and spoke to someone else, she asked the time and said it was the practice manager called Oxsana. I couldn't understand how this person was on the phone with me. A new patient, with a toothache and I don't get to see a dentist, especially when all the reviews seem to be very positive, especially about the reception staff. The second lady was very polite but Oxsana was quite rude. Hovever having now had my appointment, I can see why all the great reviews. Although my treatment came out quite expensive, more than what I can afford, the therapist I saw was very polite and explained everything to me, went through the x-rays with me and options. Also, explained why the treatments were necessary and the appointment wasn't rushed at all and was handled with care.

Negative experience: Very rude receptionist called Pamela , I called to make a booking and she was very rude over the phone . When I even asked her for the various durations and the prices she was extremely uncurtious and rude. This was was going to be my second time of booking but I will take my money elsewhere.The previous team used to be much kinder and respectful

Clean environment and area both in the reception and treatment room. The receptionists are friendly, and I was provided with care by them and the dental team throughout. The dentist explained what needed to be done and why, providing a good level of detail. After my treatment, he provided aftercare information and demonstrations to help make his explanations clear. The dentist and assistant worked as a team - I cannot fault the service provided.

Negative experience: Hi everyone, I got it registered from Dental care in Mitcham. As new patient and as 1st appointment they need it to check and they after explained everything well I wasn't happy at all as they can't do nothing only filler nothing else they refer me to go in Norbury AN other NHS dental. That it was incredible shame as I paid £28 and somthing to heard go to Specialist as we don't do it Ruth canal or Do Crown and ect..... Besically they don't do nothing. Hello everyone do nor west your Time and Money as that's is what go to happen if you would like a treatment dental. Thank you For nothing G.V

My particular dentist has been a godsend. Comprehensive investigations, transparent communications and a great bedside manner. In short, everything you'd want from a dental practice. Positive experience: I had been looking for a new dentist for a little while and after people recommending Mitcham Dental and reading the reviews I took the plunge and registered myself, my partner and our children, the initial registration was great, the receptionist I spoke with on the phone to do this was very helpful and polite, today my children had their first check up here, two of my children have ADHD and ASD so it’s very hard to keep them sat still and quiet as they become very agitated, not long after we arrived my two eldest (the boys who have additional needs) were sat quietly on their phones watching YouTube with the sounds slightly up so they could hear what they were watching, the receptionist then told them to turn the sound off, but was very rude in how she spoke, when I asked why she just pointed to the laminated sign on the wall which has a no sound logo but have no explanation, and just said “because it says there” my boys turned their sounds completely off and by that time luckily we were called in to be seen, the dentist himself was absolutely lovely and was great with my children, made us feel very welcome and it’s only because of him that we are continuing to stay at the dental practice but I was very disappointed that they expect you not not even have any slight sound in the waiting room…they have a huge tv with no sound, which is pointless! I feel like in this sense they could be more accommodating for children especially those with additional needs who find it very difficult to be quiet, Infact most children find it difficult to be quiet and maybe the receptionist could have some training on customer service, a smile and kindness goes a long way.

Fantastic experience: I am very glad that I discovered the Mitcham Dental clinic. They are wonderful people. I went to another clinic, they didn't talk to me at all, they did what they wanted, I was scared, I came with a problem, they said they couldn't solve it and if they insisted I should go to the emergency room, so I decided to look another clinic. But the Mitcham Dental Care clinic explains the procedures, they are warm, they show interest and they communicate with you, I really liked it. The ladies at the reception are very nice and understanding.

Negative experience: Regular examination lasted less than 5 minutes followed by recommendation to see Hygienist. Not exactly value for money. No proper treatment at all!

Everything was explained in a clear manner, and all work done under NHS (was offered to go private and the costs were explained well). Will be going back soon for another checkup, and I 100% wholeheartedly recommend these guys with no hesitation. Amir the dentist was lovely and explained what plans are needed.. but receptionist staff needs to be changed..I can't remember the receptionist name but it was the one who asked my date of birth twice and when I asked for a tissue she gave it not nicely.. the other receptionist who booked my next booking was lovely.. but please get rid of the other lady as she never smiles, rude,arrogant and never is welcoming.. Going to the dentist is scary but when you see the first person, the receptionist on the right oh dear.....she needs training on good customer services and how to smile....
