Negative experience: I called up on Monday for an emergency appointment and received an appointment for 2 days time. 1 hour before the scheduled appointment, I was told my appointment was 'postponed' because of a faulty chair in the surgery. Next appointment offered was 3 weeks later. The staff were friendly on calls but having to wait almost 3 1/2 weeks for an emergency appointment isn't a great service

Negative experience: Never again people don't care about costumes no happy

Fantastic experience: They were very good people from the doctors to the staff. I thank them for their welcome and service

Positive experience: Receptionist, dental nurse and dentist are super nice. But no one answers the phone on the weekends.

Negative experience: i was on my way for a 9:20am appointment this morning and i received a phone call from a receptionist telling me the the dentist i was due to see wasn't going to be in today and my appointment was being cancelled. this happened at 9:14am, i have included screenshots of the message from when i called yesterday and received the confirmation text of my appointment and the phone call i received this morning from the receptionist. this is just unacceptable at this point. Your Dentist’s should NOT be cancelling on patients less than 10 minutes before they're due to be seen. it is rude and just overall disappointing. my appointment has been cancelled and rescheduled for the same person for the last 3 ish times. honestly frustrating

Fantastic experience: The hygienist was very professional, friendly, attentive, warm and welcoming and gave me very useful information about the upkeep of dental hygiene at home. I also must include that the receptionist on duty that morning (18/09/2025) was also top notch. They both gave top class service.

Fantastic experience: Having not visited a dentist for some time I registered at the practice with a little trepidation and very fearful of being judged. I was put totally at ease and had a check up and three rays. My options and treatment plan were clearly explained and calendar appointments put in place so hopefully in the future I can smile with confidence!!

Negative experience: What an awful dentist this really is. After me and my child’s appointments were abruptly cancelled. I am now sitting in the dentist for 40 mins waiting to be seen and a private patient who appointment is actually after mine has now been seen before me. My child has sat here waiting for over half an hour and there is no explanation. Seems they only care about their private patients and that would even come before a child being seen. I wouldn’t spend a penny on there services it’s disgusting

She makes sure I won't get pain, when I was having a tooth out she rubbed some gel on my gums first then did the injections, I didn't feel a thing. I had pain from a lot of different dentists and they never offered me the gel, I didn't know you could get it until Valentino used it. So now I go in and out ☺ Thankyou Valentino

Fantastic experience: First time visitor to this dental practice clinic. I found the reception staff warm, polite, and engaging. My visit was for the Hygienist for the Airflow treatment. She, too, was warm, polite, and engaging. As I am a nervous patient when it comes to dental works, the Hygienist did her best to relaxed me by talking through elements of the treatment, plus she hummed a few tunes whilst she worked (quite relaxing too).

Fantastic experience: The staff there are very friendly and courteous, and the Dentist was fantastic in all aspects, very professional she explained everything very well to the patient's understanding before she carries out the procedure.

Negative experience: I had an appointment at 3:20 pm today, but I couldn't make it on time. I requested to reschedule for 3:40 pm, and the dentist agreed. However, when I arrived at exactly 3:40 pm, the dentist informed me that I couldn't undergo the procedure due to my tardiness. This was surprising, as I had confirmed the new time with the receptionist. I took time off work for this appointment, and it's disappointing that the change wasn't communicated earlier, especially considering the value of time and effort. Additionally, I'm still experiencing pain from a recent procedure performed by the same dentist.

Fantastic experience: From calling the receptionist (Lily) she gave me an appointment. Then I had a few reminders. When I went in everyone was happy and smiling, the dentist was really friendly and put me at ease she explained everything that was happening and kept me well informed

Fantastic experience: Amazing dentist, I have a severe fear of the dentist from childhood. From making the appointment right through to leaving the practice. Everyone puts me at ease and is so helpful and kind. I would usually leave a dentists in tears, but here I am pleased with the treatment and actually want to book to come back.

Negative experience: They should probably change the google times to their actual times, says that they re open friday 8:00-17:00 but when you get there is closed , such a waste of time, after 45 minutes she managed to open the door and yeah I understand i didnt have an appointment but inwas in a lot of pain just for her to tell me to go A&E as she couldn’t help me but also charge me 25 £ for that , so so helpful, definitely don’t recommend it

Fantastic experience: I feel comfortable and confident, I smile when I'm at Selhurst Dental Clinic, the staff are really nice. It's not busy or crowded here and I don't feel nervous at all and it's a quiet place here.

Negative experience: Have been calling for a week and can't get ahold of anyone. Dentists are normally lovely and helpful but to call over 7 times this week and not get a single person pick up the phone is very unhelpful

Negative experience: BEWARE: VALENTINA BARBIEURU is a poor, uncaring dentist! If you can pay AllClear Dental Centre in East Croydon is much better! I'm having to take these jokers to the General Dental Council. Don't trust positive Google reviews; This practice is oversubscribed, customer service has severely dropped. Long waiting times are the norm & they DESPISE free NHS treatment. The dentist VALENTINA BARBIEURU forced me into getting POOR treatment I DIDN'T NEED DONE(confirmed by another dentist). She was incredibly careless & rough. It appears as though she wasn't trained very well. Practice manager (VILIA) was very unskilled at resolving complaints and did not return my calls. The only good thing about the practice is the hygienist Angela who did a great job, was very calm, attentive, explained everything and cleaned thoroughly. Angela thank you for the great work that you do! The moral of the story is DON'T ALWAYS TRUST GOOGLE REVIEWS! I couldn't believe the treatment would be so poor, when it's rated 4.5.
