He did it completely pain-free without even needing a numbing injection, which shows how skilled and gentle he is. He explained everything clearly, checked in with me throughout, and his calm, reassuring personality instantly put me at ease. I’ve always felt nervous about dental work, but with Dr. Khawar I feel completely confident and looked after. I’m really glad he’s my dentist and would highly recommend him to anyone.

I had to have 2 root canals done which I was very nervous about, but as soon as I met Oliver he put me at ease, he really took the time to explain everything to me and to reassure me. Negative experience: Update August 2025. *WARNING* Beware of this practice. I had tooth treatment at this practice carried out. The first in January 2025 to repair a chipped front upper right tooth. Anesthesia was used and, a composite filling done. This lasted till June then broke. I attended again on 3 June to repair the breakage but, this time the dentist didn't use anesthesia as this made the bite easier feel so I could relay back if I could feel any clonking. It seemed okay. By 5th July it broke again. They saw me at 10.30 that day and the dentist carried out anesthesia to numb the area and waited for it to take efdect. Her assistant waited too. Then the dentist carried out the composite filling. I've ended up in constant pain 24/7 for over a month since. The injection to numb the tooth or, the filling itself has caused Trigeminal Neuralgia nerve damage. On returning, I've been told I'm to be referred to a 'specialist hospital' while the dentist tries to blame the nerve pain on some general condition on one side of my face, and even used 2 loyal colleagues to back her suggestion up. Now here's the worst part. This dentist denies carrying out this treatment on 5th July 2025. That is utterly astonishing and a downright lie. She knows very well she and her assistant did this on 5th July. I'm absolutely gobsmacked she'd absolutely lie about this. I now realise why tho. The nerve damage that its caused that might be permanent. Fearing being sued is what she's trying to avoid by denying doing the treatment. If she'd do this to me, she might do it to others. Beware that it'd become your word against hers. I've offered to pay £650 for a Lie Detector to prove my truth. Read latest update first. My experience so far can only be judged by 3 visits and, they are as a result of a decimated NHS dental system forcing me and other people to pay private, whether we can afford or not. First off, without warning, I got removed from Whitehill Dental, Illingworth, Halifax after suffering 3 years tremors and hospital visits to see consultants, caused by an injection in my gum at their practice, that ended up in my upper and side of head! This has caused me further distress by no longer having an NHS Dentist. Non are taking on any NHS customers anywhere. Only private, expensive paying ones. I had to resort to desperate DIY attempts to try treat my broken, painful teeth but, unsuccessful. So, I attended a half price offer for a first check up at £40 at Pearl Dental. The result being, I need treatment that'll cost £3,035.00+ estimate. I've become a Carer for my legally blind wife for which I get a paltry £82 per week. As you can see, it'd take all £82 every week for 3 years to pay that £3,035.00! Fortunately, we have some savings that I'm having to use, despite that causing fall-outs with my wife, to pay for each part of this essential treatment. I've had 2 teeth done so far, costing £318.50. Front tooth seems okay. I've had to return 2 days later after the molar was still painful to cold and heat. The exposed dentine needed a 2 layer sealant covering. This hasn't worked as I hoped yet, so, I'm applying Sensodine toothpaste on it as advised by the 2nd dentist. This is ongoing today as I type. I'm hoping the discomfort will subside over the next week or so, especially as I'm reluctant to have to call again and, fear being charged (there was no charge for the sealant yesterday tho). I'll update later on this. As for the staff and practice, so far it's been a pleasant experience. Very polite and helpful. The dentists, a lady and, a gentleman, were very professional, welcoming and reassuring. I'll update my review (that Pearl Dentist welcomed me to do via email today) after some time, to see how things go, as required treatment is ongoing. My fear of dentists had sky-rocketed after the huge trauma experienced from my previous nightmare at Whitehill Dental. Thus, every appointment requires a lot of psyching up and, taking Kalms medication beforehand. But, my 3 visits so far, has helped reassure my fear (fear of injections remains extreemly high tho).

Positive experience: First time I've been to this dental practice. Was really lovely and welcoming by staff. It is very well kept/modern. Staff were really helpful and accommodating. Marked as 4 stars due to having to wait 15 minutes for the dentist over my appointment time. I understand that things can't be helped. Lovely clean treatment rooms, dentist was very thorough and so helpful. He was very gentle due to me being in pain. He went into a lot of detail and explained my options fully. I was very happy with the outcome. Dental nurses and reception were really helpful and kind. Pleased I was recommended this practice.

Don't get me wrong, I still feel anxious, I think I always will from childhood trauma, however I feel so much better with Pearl Dental, from the lovely ladies at reception, to the calming TV screens in the waiting room, to speaking to Narinder Who always makes me feel relaxed and is so lovely to talk too, and explains each step. I recently had to book an emergency appointment due to a troublesome tooth, and the care was brilliant, as always.

Fantastic experience: I have a fear of going to the dentist, and was dreading this visit as I had a small piece of bone that needed to be removed from my gum. It's called a sequestra, and sometimes occurs when a tooth has been removed. As usual, Dr Nigel put me at ease, numbed the area, and removed it quickly and painlessly. He, and all the lovely staff, were friendly and understanding. A very positive visit with great customer care.

Fantastic experience: Found Pearl during lockdown when other dentists turned me away with an agonising abcess, but these guys sorted it quickly - best discovery ever, lovely dentists, hygienist and admin staff. Everyone is so friendly and yet still professional, very sympathetic of my anxiety - which actually is pretty much gone now thanks to these guys - and the surgery is bright, stylish and modern, and fully equipped with the latest machines and equipment.

Fantastic experience: I enquired at several practices prior to Pearl Dental but never committed to the treatment plans as I didn't feel confident / comfortable enough to proceed. I stumbled across Pearl Dental, enquired and booked a consultation. Dr Narinder made me feel at ease & within about 2 minutes of chatting to her I knew that Pearl Dental was exactly what I was looking for. I want to thank Dr Narinder for being such a welcoming, lovely & genuine woman, she made me feel extremely comfortable & explained the whole treatment in such great depth; she really is a credit to the dental practice. I began my treatment in August 2023 as I was unhappy with my smile and overall look of my teeth. My treatment plan was very complex as I had a sporting injury in my teenage years which resulted in having a missing front tooth & my other front tooth snapping in half. I started Invisalign & I was pleasantly surprised with the speed of the process. In January 2024 I booked in with Emilio for a dental implant, this also left me surprised as the the thought of opening up your gums to insert a titanium screw sounds extremely painful; the procedure was pretty much pain free! Emilio was fantastic, he was very professional and I couldn't fault anything whatsoever! I finished my Invisalign treatment in April 2024 and was very happy with how my teeth were aligned; I then booked in for composite bonding on my upper & lower teeth. When I say I wasn't ready for the results that would be an understatement... The composite bonding took around 9 hours, Khawar Ali looked after my composite bonding and I just genuinely can't believe the results. A real credit to the dental practice and an absolute perfectionist, thank you Khawar I appreciate your work more than you'll imagine! I am just awaiting to get my 2 crowns made for my 2 front teeth but the whole experience from start to finish has being nothing short of exceptional. Pearl Dental certainly isn't the cheapest, but if you are looking professionals who genuinely care about your results then look no further. I couldn't recommend this dental practice enough if I tried, thank you to all the team you really are a special bunch. A special mention / thanks to Jenna & Kelsey for their exceptional customer service and for being so genuine, welcoming & professional.

After years of neglect from my previous NHS dentist, I was very cautious but Dr Narinder Khroud was very thorough in taking me through the options. The aftercare was amazing and I believe I’m finally in the right hands. They are are credit to the dental industry!

The outlook was greater and when I wanted help they pointed it out to me and left me with other ideas to help myself. I'm now hoping to be a regular and to get my mouth back on track again. Very friendly staff, they explain everything to you perfectly and I actually cant wait to go down again. It is expensive, however you cant really complain as their service is perfect and they offer financial plans to help you. 10\10 would recommend

Fantastic experience: I joined Pearl during the Covid lockdown as nobody else would take on new patients (private or NHS) when we moved to the Bradford area. I have chosen to stay with Pearl even though we have since moved back to Ilkley. Narinder is the nicest, caring, thorough and honest dentist I've ever known. The hygienists are equally as thorough and nice. I pay a monthly plan which is reasonable and it covers twice a year check ups. There is no waiting weeks for appointments (my partner broke a tooth nearly 2 weeks ago and is still waiting for an NHS appointment). I would rather drive 40 mins to Queensbury twice a year than change my dentist.
