Fantastic experience: I was referred to DCO SALE for them to complete an extraction that my regular Dentist had started and couldnt finish . I was very anxious and frightened of going to DCO because my Dentist had only managed to get part of the molar out . I have been in shocking pain since to point where I had to go back the following day and got antibiotics prescribed and they didn't help . I never do reviews but I definitely had to this time because staff at DCO SALE are fantastic. Like I've said I was anxious and frightened to be referred an somewhere new as well because over the years I've had some shocking experiences then to top it extraction of a molar . The team at DCO explained everything that would happen and what to do after . I felt the best I've ever felt while being in a dentists chair. I was told when anesthetic wore off I may feel some pain or discomfort because of the tugging, I've not felt either . I felt that relaxed I even asked Chloe on reception whether they were taking patients on at the SALE Practice sadly no at this time because I would of definitely signed up . Again fantastic team cant thank them enough .

Fantastic experience: Dentists are not most people's favourite place to be, except maybe Dentists. But I felt as happy as I could have on my visit. A warm welcome, being involved in what was happening and very friendly staff. A clean and calm environment and not too big a bill. Hopefully I won't be rushing back soon, but I know where to go.

Fantastic experience: I had a historical issue with my tooth from a previous dentist more than 20 years ago. Following a failed filling that led to an abscess, the same dentist carried out a root canal filling that also failed and led to a cyst ten years later and an apicoectomy, which saved the tooth. Finally the tooth gave in leading to the need to have it removed. I was really upset to have to lose a tooth and decided to opt for an implant. My present dentist (who is also fabulous) recommended me to Dr Chris Waith, the dental surgeon at DCO in Sale, who immediately put me at ease, renegading the nightmare scenario of losing a tooth to a more manageable, everyday status. The removal was dealt with very efficiently under sedation and the subsequent procedures took place without issue. Chris and all the staff at DCO were very friendly, approachable and professional and they made this experience bearable and positive. Thank you very much.

Fantastic experience: I had an implant fitted with Chris at DCO. The treatment plan and treatment were all really good and I was really confident in Chris' ability as he talked me through all of the steps involved. The implant was fitted a couple of weeks ago and feels just like a normal tooth. It is an expensive procedure but I expect to have the implant for the rest of my life so I am sure it will be worth it.

Fantastic experience: I have been through quite a journey after losing a bone graft and implants. The treatment I got from Mark was brilliant and I am now sporting some cobalt/acrylic dentures which I am very pleased with. Not only a great dentist, but I even feel he is now a friend, I never thought I would ever say that about a dentist!

Fantastic experience: I was referred to DCO by my usual dentist for an extraction. I felt quite nervous for the procedure but Katy and her assistant (who's name I didn't catch) did a fantastic job of making me feel as comfortable as I could be. Both very knowledgeable which naturally improved my confidence in them and the procedure itself was completely painless, including the anaesthetic at the start. Both Katy and her assistant were informative throughout the procedure (but not too much!) so I had an inkling as to the progress being made. The whole process took approx. 25 minutes and I'm now following their advice on recovery. On the whole, it was nowhere near as bad I was expecting and that was largely down to Katy and her assistant, so a huge thank you to them both.

Positive experience: The dentist Chris is fine and reassuring but oh the long wait just to get one implant! It took me nearly two months just to get the initial appointment. You would have thought paying over 2k it shouldn't take this long! (Start 31 July. End treatment NEXT Feb all for one tooth) Too long DCO!!!

Fantastic experience: My Daughter struggles with visits to the dentist Due to sensory processing issues and asd. She went to see Beth today who was absolutely wonderful with her and instantly made her feel relaxed. Beth explained everything she would be doing and let Evie feel the things she would be using which instantly helped Evies sensory needs. Beth was patient and gentle with Evie and for the first time ever Evie is looking forward to her next visit to the dentist. Having someone understand your child's needs and communicate with them in a way they understand and are comfortable with makes what could potentially be a disaster appointment a wonderful experience. Beth is an incredible dentist with a warm welcoming personality and we look forward to our regular visits to see her. Thank you Beth and Sophie for giving Evie such a wonderful positive experience.

Fantastic experience: Really, high quality care, excellent treatment, and follow up advice after the extraction, received written instructions on after care at home and sterile cotton wool, if any bleeding occured. Thought this was really caring and professional. Plus it was helpful to have the care instructions written, I usually forget. I was very nervous patient, Chris and staff they totally put me at ease. Fantastic experience: I was referred by my dentist for a tooth extraction for Saturday 11 Jan. I was treated superbly from reception to surgery. I was informed throughout the extraction as to the procedure. I can't praise the practice anymore than thank you and will follow advice and the guidance sheet given to me. No pain or after effects. Fantastic experience: My son has additional needs and up until 3 months ago he refused to even sit in the dentists chair for a check up. When he finally did his molar was so decayed it needed extraction. Beth carried it out under sedation and was incredible. Her calmness, expertise and bedside manner were exceptional and the procedure was completed without any issues or distress. I would recommend DCO every time - I have been extremely happy with them. Prices are reasonable and we didn’t have to wait at all to be seen.

Fantastic experience: I was referred to Chris and his team for the removal of 4 teeth and a plan to fill the gaps with 5 implants. At the first meeting a fully costed plan and timescale was provided to me a. It was clear, concise and provided me with the confidence to move forward. That confidence was well founded and over nearly a year Chris took out teeth, scanned for implants and delivered a great final solution. Cancellation waiting list is also a great idea to help push appointments forward. I would highly recommend DCO to all, especially nervous patients.

Fantastic experience: I have Recently had a tooth implant fitted and I can honestly say I did not feel a thing. All the staff are attentive and explain what's happening at each stage. I know a visit to the dentist can be traumatic but their calmness and professionalism soon puts you at ease. I have also had treatment at the Marsland Road practice which is equally as good. I would not hesitate to recommend DCO for your dental needs.

Fantastic experience: I needed a back Moller tooth extraction and my usual dentist Mark needed to refer me to his colleague Peter because Mark had a sport injury. I was very nervous because two previous extractions were very difficult indeed. Well,, what can I say!! I am writing this less than 24 hours after the tooth extraction. First of all I barely felt the anaesthetic needle and as for the actual tooth extraction itself it was all done in under 15 minutes with no pain for me whatsoever, it was 'text-book' surgery. Pete advised me throughout the procedure what was going on and both Pete and the dental nurse were lovely people. Peter,,, thank you so much for the care and attention that you gave me and Mark, for the surgery that you did on me too. I can't recommend DCO dental enough.

Fantastic experience: I was referred to Christian to have a root canal removed and I was really worried - especially after my usual dentist saying it was going to be tricky. I had nothing to fear at all. He has such a calming energy and he was very gentle. I only wish he could be my dentist for all my general appointments too! Don’t be worried if you are with Chris you’re in good hands.

Fantastic experience: Dentists have always been a trigger for my anxiety and I tell you now, I've never felt more assured and welcome and completely unjudged than I did at DCO. As soon as you walk in you're greeted with a smile and such a pleasant attitude. From the receptionists to the dental assistants, to the dental surgeons. I had a double extraction and Matt Dingle was amazing. Everyone was amazing.

Rebecca and her dental nurse were very nice and friendly putting me at ease and although the tooth was difficult to get out Rebecca made it all feel like a breeze. Thank you. Negative experience: "From a young age until now I have had my teeth deep cleaned by the best dentists and I have never had the awful and painful experience I had with a young Hygienist in DCO Dental Group. ▪︎▪︎ My experience with the young hygienist in May 2024, is that she caused me excruciating pain. And not only that, but when I showed the Dentist in DCO, the wounds/blisters that the Hygienist caused in my mouth, the female dentist called it: stress! That it is unbelievable!! (As I have studied Psychology, I felt the dentist was taking the mickey. She viewed the wounds that the Hygienist caused on my gums, (I have photographs) and she tried to put me down, in order to cover the mistreatment of my teeth caused by the Hygienist. And on the top of this she advised me to take painkillers from the counter!! The dentist had not given me anything to soothe my gums. ▪︎ The wounds in my mouth created by the Hygienist were so intense that I ended up to visited a second dentist at another Dental practice and the second Dentist was shocked at how amateurish and unprofessional the Hygienist from DCO Dental Group was to me. The Dentist from another practice gave me a proper treatment to calm down my gums, after the amateur Hygienist from DCO caused me intense wounds on my gums. When the dentist from DCO refused to give me treatment for the wounds they caused on my gums. Never before, had I called with pain on my gums, after a hygienist appointment. ▪︎▪︎ After my hygienist appointment I could not eat probably and sleep because I was in sheer pain for more than three weeks!! My gums were inflamed, with blisters and I was in agony even to eat and sleep for almost three weeks. Probably NHS paying customers are given appointments with dentists and hygienists who have just graduated and are doing their practice. I have been in this Dental practice since 2017 or 2018 and I have never been given the opportunity to see a dentist like those mentioned by customers in their reviews. Out of courtesy as I was a client in this Dental practice since 2018, I will not mention names. In the beginning I had a wonderful dentist at this Dental practice who unfortunately she left. On May 1st 2024, I had an extremely painful experience with a hygienist who, after my visit with that young female hygienist: I experienced a terrible pain, and inflamed and bleeding gums for more than three weeks. The pain I experienced affected my sleep patterns and I could not eat without experiencing excruciating pain. After my hygienist appointment, I saw my dentist with a hope to give me a substantial advice, but to no avail. I have never experienced in my entire life, such intense ache after a teeth cleaning until now in my life. Because of the unbearable pain in my teeth continued for more than three weeks, I got a second opinion from an emergency dentist, outside this Dental practice, who he gave me a prescription for a special mouthwash and a soothing gel to apply on my gums. The unbearable pain I experienced after my visit with the hygienist does not encourage me to trust the hygienist service at this Dental practice again. Thank you for the services you have offered me since 2018, but I am extremely hesitant to visit the hygienist at your dental practice again. Because I experienced excruciating pain for more than three weeks without receiving an apology, I do not wish for a response to my review. Be all well. I want to put 1 star for the Hygienist and 3 stars for the dentist ✨️"

Fantastic experience: Was suggested this practice after an awful dentist ruined my confidence. Have seen Mark the dentist (most excellent) and Michelle the hygenist (who is also most excellent!) since Feb of this year and another, Gemma, on Friday 8/7/23. All experiences have been very positive even when faced with stark reality. Had my first tooth extracted, at 46 years, on last visit. Terrified did not cover it. Calm and caring was their approach. I was absolutely fine. Having anxiety, they handled me VERY well. Thank you from the bottom of my ❤️!

Fantastic experience: I have been registered at this practice for quite a few years now. Throughout that time I have been seen by 4 or 5 different dentists, all of whom were very good in my opinion. I can honestly say that all my visits here have been relatively comfortable and painless - this is often not the case for some Dental practices in my experience. Jemma Stones has recently been my Dentist at DCO. My experience with Jemma has been really good - I recently had a root canal treatment performed admirably by Jemma without any pain at all (which is a first for me for a root filling). I would have been more than happy to continue with Jemma but sadly she is moving on from DCO. So thanks! and wishing you all the best for the future Jemma :-)

Fantastic experience: Dr. Jemma Stones has been dealing with me during the last few months and at the age of 72 I have found her to be the best Dentist I have ever dealt with. Her Professional but friendly attitude is second to non. I have had several broken teeth removed, three root canal treatments and a crown fitted with absolutely no pain or bother. The only regret is that she is moving to another practise! Thanks Jemma.

Negative experience: Not even referred to me for a wisdom tooth extraction advising me to use a baby toothbrush to get rid of the food stuck there. Had to go private to have an NHS referral. Poor service!!

Over the past few months we've seen a lovely dentist called Emily, she is so professional, friendly and incredibly caring and knowledgeable. She even manages to get my teenage son to talk!! Positive experience: Overall good experience, happy with the dental work. Trying to get an appointment or to get through on the phone or email is a nightmare. You leave several messages and wait in hope of someone getting back to you. Other than that it's good.

Negative experience: This used to be run by very nice and polite people who didn’t discriminate you just because you have epilepsy I have had four teeth pulled out here and now all the sudden they are refusing to do it because of my epilepsy which I have had all my life

Fantastic experience: I joined DCO as a a patient a few years ago after receiving a really good service for the removal of a wisdom tooth. I’ve had numerous problems with my teeth and gums that I have found other practices in the past have struggled with. However at DCO I feel listened to and that my problems have been fully addressed. I have received a swift, professional and friendly service and have always been shown flexibility when I’ve been in pain or unwell. My dentist, Beth is so thorough, she takes the time to understand any issues and talk me through my visit to her.
