Fantastic experience: Dr Abrar is so friendly and so good in her job, she's one of the best dentist I ever had ever seen in my life. The receptionist is so kind as well.

Fantastic experience: Currently a private patient on a payment plan which includes yearly xray and x2 yearly dental clean and hygienest appointments. Being private makes a big difference. I get more appointment availability. I've had amazing dentists Temi and now Jaime. I'm already conscious of my teeth but they make me fill at ease and always give the best advice. I never leave feeling guilty or pressured. I've had Root canals, crowns, fillings, teeth whitening treatment, tooth abcess treatment etc and each time I've had excellent care. Im now more confident with my smile. The receptionist staff are welcoming and always greet with a warm smile. The dental nurses are also lovely. Can't fault the practise and highly recommend their services.

Negative experience: I had an appointment scheduled today with Richa Sood and when we came in she told me in a very rude tone and manner that we have allegedly missed 3 appointments and she refused to go through with my scheduled appointment and instead told me to re-book with another dentist but when speaking to the reception staff they informed me that we have only had 2 appointments and only rescheduled one of them because I had an exam that day and we did give a 24-hour notice. Treating patients like this is very disrespectful and rude as a professional and also really patronising but the reception staff were very understanding which makes me think that this is not the first instance that Richa has acted like this towards a patient and it surely won’t be the last time.

He checked my teeth very thoroughly and explained the procedure and how long the process would take. He put me at ease and checked if I had any questions. Appointment date for procedure booked

Fantastic experience: Been with the practise for some 58 years when Mr Thompson had it on the other side of Street Lane then Richard Vipond join. Never had cause to complain, always been warmley welcome by staff and dentist have done what needs doing.

Negative experience: I have been an NHS Patient with this dental practice for about 40 years - going back to the days of the amazing character that was Mr Vipond. Yesterday i attended for a check up and was charged £27.40 to be told I needed a clean for the cost of £93! (not then and there but to make another appointment to see a hygienist) What on earth is going on. The dentist I usually see although still there has gone private - before she did I would get a check up and a clean (it used to be called a scale and polish) all for about £26! When I questioned the £93- the dentist today eventually admitted it was the cost of a private clean and I could have on the NHS for £75. What a joke. I also have to see a different dentist each time and they’re all self employed so not even employees of the practice. I thought the NHS was for ordinary people and private care for rich people. I had to decline. About 6yrs ago my daughter missed an appointment and they took her off the books - she was supposed to have been put back on the waiting list but has never heard from them since. Apparently the waiting list is 5years. What a sad state of affairs. On a positive note the receptionists were very friendly and understanding.

Fantastic experience: I was seen punctually and was very happy with treatment. Equally, everyone from the reception team to the dental team were polite and professional.

Negative experience: Dreadful experience with Sarah for a filling. She struggled with my gag reflex and was quite unprepared(!), not understanding and I found her to be rude overall, constantly telling me not to swallow, as this was an expensive (white) filling. I am a nervous patient but found her approach dreadful. The nurse however was lovely and showed me some compassion- rubbing my back. I have had a migraine for the past 24 hours and feel very unhappy with my treatment.

Fantastic experience: Even at a regular check up appt, I'm not the perfect, calm patient that I'd like to be but Husna handled my expectations well. Husna explained what she was going to do before getting on with the task. Millie was great as support and both were very kind to me despite my nervousness in the chair. Thank you both.

Fantastic experience: The receptionists were just lovely and so helpful. I didn't have an appointment but they spoke to my usual dentist and managed to get me in within half an hour. My wonderful dentist saw me even sooner, she was professional, friendly and very thoughtful. I can't praise them or thank them enough.

Very happy although things didn't go as we'd hoped, he gave me the best possible outcome.I saw John today 16th Oct for a broken tooth which he will repair in Dec then a crown which will save the tooth, at the same time he checked around my mouth and found a white patch which I hadn't noticed, he has arranged a referral to check what it is and have received a text message about this very quickly, so thank you to John. I had a broken tooth which John repaired for me today 4th December 2023. Fantastic treatment, well looked after and advice given.

Fantastic experience: Have been to many dentists around the world with living in different countries, and Street Lane Dental is amazing. The appointment booking system, online health screening forms etc makes the process so smooth. In particular Dr Jaime Hobman and the team are fantastic. My son says it’s the best dentist he has ever been to.

Negative experience: Getting the appointment was not a problem. But the dentist met me with a barage of silly questions. She talked too fast over music couldnt understand or hear her. As well as having a mask on! Just told me to rub sensodyne on my sire gums! Would like to choose a different dentist in the practice but apparently u cant! Dont know why?

She puts everyone at ease and chats with the kids and teenagers in a way that relates to them. She has previously carried out a very difficult filling for me which I was very worried about. She talked me through each step of the way giving all options and possible outcomes and the filling has been very successful. I would highly recommend Abrar to anyone looking for a dentist and I am very pleased with all the dentistry she has done for us as a family.

Positive experience: As an nhs patient we used to get a quick descale and a polish on our six monthly check up, now it’s a quick count of teeth a prod around and out in less than 6 minutes at a cost of £26-80 yes I know I’m lucky to have a nhs dentist, but just seems a lot for a pensioner

Negative experience: Very disappointed, the work is not yet completed and I have already made two drives to the Dentist unnecessarily. Feel the practice could have contacted me yesterday and today, advising the work was not completed. Will be required again on Monday and let's hope it will be done.

Negative experience: I’m a NHS patient and I have been coming to this practice for years. The reception staff are always friendly. There is a great turnover of dentists, my latest visit was with a different dentist to the last one. I was there for a checkup. I had no detailed inspection, just a prod to check for gum disease. All over! Wow! Less than 5 minutes. I felt I was in a swing door. I agree with efficiency, but not at the cost of customer satisfaction.
