I was very nervous about having a root canal treatment, especially after being dismissed by a previous dentist who just kept increasing their prices! From the moment I arrived, the receptionist Arooji was so kind and welcoming, which immediately helped calm my nerves. Dr Mojgan then took the time to really listen to my concerns, explained everything in detail and gave me a fair treatment plan so I knew exactly what to expect. During the procedure she was gentle, caring and constantly reassuring. She truly went above and beyond and I can honestly say she is the most caring dentist I’ve ever been to. Negative experience: Been to different dentists, this is by far the most painful cleaning I've had. Rough and quick. I was wincing and flinching half the time, and they just went on no matter what. Most passive receptionist ever. Doesn't care a bit. The place closes for lunch until 2pm, and they placed my reservation at exactly 2pm. I arrived 10 minutes earlier, confused by the half-dropped gate, not a notice or anyone around. Then the receptionist came and told me to wait until 2. I asked if I could wait inside, but she just reiterated that they're having a lunch break. I had to wait outside in the drizzle. Dentist/hygenist was very defensive, eager to make her case rather than listening to my point and my concern. Treated me as if I was being unreasonable for feeling pain. I was nothing but polite, idk what I did to deserve this treatment. I seriously doubt the qualities of those good reviews. They contradict my experience completely.

Fantastic experience: Could not recommend Putney Dental & Implant centre any more since seeing them for a number of months to help fit an Implant and stabilise the rest of my mouth with a few fillings. A warm welcome is always provided by Simran & Arooji discussing any treatment and clearly explaining next steps - booking and going out their way to ensure you can be seen whenever suits you. Also the care provided by Dr Shervin + the team is absolutely first class, always make you feel at ease and the quality of the work is second to none - recently had an implant fitted with 0 pain. The team always go out their way to accommodate & explain everything in a friendly manner. 10/10 happily recommend to anyone visiting this practice.

Fantastic experience: This surgery is excellent. I was previously misdiagnosed by another dentist which meant I had an infection for a long time. It was really sore. The dentist (a lady with dark hair) understood the pain I was in and despite not having any appointments, she stayed behind after the closing time to do an emergency procedure as well prescribed antibiotics. I hate the dentist and get very nervous. However, they tried to make me more comfortable by letting me listen to some music. I am so grateful that she did the procedure for me. The procedure was invasive but painless.

Fantastic experience: I have high blood pressure and the dentisit advised me to change my medication because there was a good chance it was causing continuous swelling and some bleeding of my gums. After a battle with my GP my medication was changed. The change plus a course of antbiotics, has made the world of difference and my gums are no longer swollen and bleeding.

Fantastic experience: As a nervous dentist go-er, it is important to find the correct practice and dentist. I’ve seen Shervin for ~15 years and always had a good experience. I never grew a left canine tooth, which left me with a large gap and not much bone. After multiple discussions of implant options we agree ridge expansion, implant and bone graft. Shervin was positive throughout what was a tricky procedure, explaining what was going on through making sure I was comfortable (as comfortable as could be anyway!). The procedure went well, with everything going according to plan and now currently in the healing process. I had a good experience at Putney with Shervin and am keen to continue with my current treatment plan.

Fantastic experience: Went in for a check in and clean as teeth still a bit stained from corsodyl use after implant surgery last year. Came out sparkling! Implants very nicely done and aftercare is excellent…

Fantastic experience: I started the process of having a molar extraction and implant in October. Very happy with how the costs, risks and alternatives were clearly outlined by Dr Kamyab. The extraction was far less painful than expected and I always felt that I was in capable hands. The surgery is clean and everyone is friendly. I was particularly impressed with receiving a call the day after my extraction to check on how I was recovering. A month later and the gum has healed and new bone growth is evident so on to the implant process. Highly recommended with thanks.

It is a bit on the expensive side but quality of their expertise is beyond great. To summarise the experience in three words: fast, reliable and safe. Everyone in the team is kind and helpful. Fantastic experience: I had a complicated wisdom tooth removal surgery. Shervin was really thorough with it including the pre-surgery information/briefing. I think he did a brilliant operation, so recovery process was smooth. Shervin and the others followed up after the operation to see the progress in recover process, too, which was quite comforting for me as a patient. They are quite professional and friendly at the same time.

The very narrow space for the new tooth was an arduous procedure but was successful. Negative experience: Went as an NHS patient and was told there was nothing wrong with my teeth. In agony, I went to a private dentist and saw the x-rays of what needed to be done. Went back to Putney Dental and was told there was nothing they could do for me on the NHS but would treat me privately. Not acceptable.

I was always scared of dentists, but after today I will only go to Dr Mojgan, she has kindly given me two numbing injections before starting to do a filling and so I did not feel any pain at all during the procedure, she kept talking to me and being kind and explained everything to me properly.
