Fantastic experience: My recent appointment at Teamcare Dental Practice was an extraction. I was apprehensive! Steven Murphy made me feel at ease by explaining the process and then giving a running commentary as he extracted my broken tooth. I found this helpful. Before leaving, I was given information about aftercare. I expected my gum to be painful for a few days, but it wasn't. I only took two paracetamol after the anaesthetic wore off.

I never really felt a thing. I was a bit nervous as I've not had a tooth out for 40 years, but I didn't need to worry, it was cool. Aftercare was fantastic from everyone on duty that day (enough said). Thank you so much

Negative experience: I do not recommend Teamcare Dental Practice — especially for anyone considering a finance plan. I came to this practice with clear expectations and was polite, patient, and cooperative throughout. In return, I was misled, dismissed, and treated with complete disregard. I was told my full treatment — including braces removal, retainers, and a hygiene appointment — would be covered under a finance plan. But once the loan was approved, they suddenly told me the hygiene appointment wasn’t included. The only “solution” they offered was to amend the finance plan to make me pay more — despite the fact that it was their internal mistake, not the finance company’s (Tabeo). Then they claimed Tabeo rejected the change because it was too late — again, because of their delay. Yet they made it seem like that wasn’t their responsibility. After that, they kept stringing me along — saying they’d “try to fix it” and asking me to wait while they “looked into it.” I gave them time, followed up multiple times, and was ignored or fed vague excuses. After all that, they came back with nothing. No real solution, no accountability, not even a basic gesture of goodwill. It felt like they were playing with me — wasting my time and treating me like my concerns didn’t matter. If you value honesty, proper communication, and basic respect as a patient, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere. This practice is not trustworthy.

Fantastic experience: Ever since my childhood I had avoided going to visit a dentist having had some painful and traumatic experiences. Now in my 80's I can honestly say that I am grateful to Teamcare Dental Practice for helping me to put all of my fears behind me. My most recent visit to Pep for example was even enjoyable. I can't be more grateful for his kind and skilful attention and care. Well done, and thank you.

Fantastic experience: There is no doubt that this long established dental practice in Bedford is exceptional. The team are professional, sensitive and understanding. I have benefitted from both their private and NHS care over the years and cannot fault either. Workmanship is always of the highest standard. They do have a good emergency service from 9am to 10am which is a real god send for when you get those rare toothaches etc. I did have a few problems with the latter once due to staff sickness and a faulty router, but I am sure they have put in place practices to resolve those issues should they arise again in the future.

Fantastic experience: I found Teamcare efficient caring and the reception professional welcoming and interactive in an enjoyable way and I was able to have a laugh along with the professionalism which is good for relaxing a nervous customer though I was very relaxed through out the procedure as I was in safe hands.

Negative experience: I had Invisalign done here by a dentist travelling in from London. He was at least late to every single appointment, multiple were cancelled late the day before or on the day, one being cancelled while I was literally sat in their waiting room because the dentist was stuck in traffic. They need to change their website because I, as their patient, would never recommend them. I also still feel the parts that they added to my teeth to hold the Invisalign in place, and I wasn’t fully happy with my teeth at the end of my course, but because they were so difficult to deal with, decided I’d rather not have to keep trying to attend appointments.

Negative experience: After my appointment with the hygienist cutting my gum during the cleaning, I then had to pay to come back to be seen for 10 minutes, after waiting 25 minutes, just to be given a prescription, which I then also had to pay for. Emailed the reception with my feedback which initially was ignored and then received a generic response apologising for the inconvenience. Not good enough.

Fantastic experience: Whilst visiting the dentist is unlikely to ever be considered ‘a pleasure’, Teamcare make it as pleasurable as possible. The reception staff are always friendly, Steven and his assistant are always prompt to see me and also friendly. Appointment reminder texts and emails are life savers! I've been with the same practice since childhood (albeit the dentists themselves have changed over that time). Overall, I honestly think I’d be hard pressed to find a better dental practice. Fantastic experience: I've recently signed up to TeamCare Dental as finding an NHS dentist was impossible. I went in for a root canal, and although it was a little pricier, you get what you pay for. The dentist (Mohammed) has been so explanatory through every step of the way, and makes sure you are completely aware of what is going to be done. The nurse who's name I didn't catch, has also been amazing. Every 5 minutes or so asking if I'm OK and humming along to the songs on the radio to really make you feel at ease. I'm not a big fan of the dentists and get quite nervous before appointments but going back again I feel really confident in their ability, communication and commitment to making my teeth 100% how they should be. Definitely recommend this dental practice!

Fantastic experience: Professional yet relaxed appointment, putting me at ease for my procedure. Dr Murphy was very patient and skilled, handling the tools with precision and care. Pain free treatment, which hadn’t been the case with previous dentist. The nurse/assistant was very attentive, excellent use of the vacuum and checked in on me a couple of times. All finished in a timely manner with good advice upon leaving to ensure my comfort and success of the treatment. The receptionist was personable and efficient, and the price was very good.

Negative experience: No transparent information regarding fees on the website, as opposed to all other practices who clearly show this information. £ practitioners always shown on there website, but these aren't the ones that you seen when you book an appointment. I have not received the "perfect" care that is advertised by Teamcare on Facebook or their website, I don't know how they get 5 star reviews, unless they pay Google to bump them up. Very Very disappointed and they don't actual care despite what they say. Never ever get a response to put things right either

Positive experience: I have had a great experience with Dr Jai on my dental implants. Also, recently I have seen Dr Mohammed Khoker for a replacement veneer and some general tooth decay issues. Dr Khoker explains everything really well and does a thorough job. My only complaint would some occasional discomfort with the tools being used.

I liaised with Beckie on reception quite a bit in the run-up to my appointment as I had some specific concerns about my teeth - she was really helpful and relayed everything to Steven Murphy to ensure everything went perfectly on the day and there was sufficient time to complete my treatment. I also saw the hygienist for the first time ever - wow, my mouth felt amazing afterwards and my teeth were so much whiter as a result - definitely worth the time and money and I will 100% be back for more!
