Fantastic experience: My experience at Mayhew has been such that I feel others will benefit from sharing. I was extremely anxious ahead of my appointment for an extraction. Rupal took plenty of time in a warm and calm manner to help me prepare. Her approach quickly built up trust that I was in safe hands. As she spoke I could feel my worry reducing. Rupal has an almost therapeutic manner whilst displaying utmost professionalism. After the procedure she continued to show care and compassion to ensure I did not leave until I was ready and fully understood the after care. I highly recommend to others.

She explained every step as she was doing it, which made the whole process so much more comfortable. Her professionalism and knowledge really stood out. Fantastic experience: I haven't been to the dentist for many years, fear of not only dentist but needles. I reached the point I had to have work done as I was in pain. I can't recommend Mayhew enough, especially Jasveen and Emily. Everyone is so patient and understanding but those two ladies have always gone above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. Jas even took over my care after a very bad experience at a different dentist when getting my wisdom teeth removed and helped me get back to feeling comfortable with her doing work. If you are nervous and need a dentist that will work with you I would definitely recomend them.

Fantastic experience: Looking for Dentist then look Further. I’ve been scared of the Dentist for many years, Dating back from school times with the school Dentist. Seeing at caravan in the playground, my stomach. I so desperately needed to see a dentist. I am now an old age pensioner and really needing my teeth seen too as soon as I walked Into Mayhew dental surgery had the most wonderful welcome from the staff. My appointment was with RuPaul and from the start I knew I was gonna be okay. She is a really wonderful Person who put me at my ease straight away. I was nervous with that very nervous, but RuPaul made everything out okay?. I’m now at the end of my treatment which has been a long journey and the last few times of going there I had a smile on my face which were made it very unusual. The Work RuPaul had done on me a long Last I can smile with confidence and it’s made me feel so happy. I would recommend this Dentist practice to anybody. They are all very polite and very welcoming and put you at ease Straight away. I can honestly say no, I have no fear in Dentists at all now. Fantastic experience: I’ve taken my 7 year old son to Mayhew Dental to have his tooth fixed and we’ve had a great experience. Rupal, the dentist, explained the procedure in easy terms and both, her and Emily were very reassuring and encouraging. My son did not feel any pain and found the whole process quite easy. Fantastic experience: I really feel the need to say a massive thank you to the dentist we saw yesterday for my son after he chipped his tooth in the swimming pool. Firstly, thank you for fitting us in so quickly. Secondly, I wanted to say how absolutely amazing the dentist was with him. She made the whole experience bearable for him (& me!). I was quite nervous at my initial appointment as a new patient because I've always been a bit scared visiting the dentist but everyone put me at ease and today during my extraction naturally a bit nervous but so much care was taken. Fantastic experience: I am a patient at Mayhew Dental practice, its always been a positive experience, and I was recently seen by Rupal who was checking my teeth because of sensitivity. She is always very professional and explained very clearly what was required to solve this, she reassured me that my teeth were in good condition, and told me my options going forward on how to resolve this. So I will be booked in for further treatment in a few months. Rupal always puts me at ease and makes sure that i am comfortable when checking my teeth. I would recommend this dental practice to others.

Fantastic experience: My 13 year old daughter had some dental treatment which she was feeling apprehensive about. Jayaa made her feel relaxed and comfortable. So much so that for her second treatment she had no concerns or worries. The whole treatment was well explained and she was reassured throughout. I would definitely recommend Mayhew dental practise.

Negative experience: Strangest experience I have ever had at a Dentist, and I am 54. Tried to take mugshots as if in custody, front and both sides, I declined. Booked for Hygienist, quoted same price of £75 as most others, but first must have dental exam at £120 and 1st Hygienist visit must be a double session for £150. So £270 just for a clean. Arrived for clean, Hygienist spoke at me for first 30 minutes then did an "initial clean", have to book back in for a follow up clean within 6 weeks. So after £325 for cleaning I stopped going, constant hard selling here they want to get as much money out of you as they can. They then sent me reminder after reminder that "due another visit" which I ignored. Then 2 years later they write "because you have not replied, your file will be closed and will need £93 to re-open it. I have been in sales for a long time, the hard sell is recognisable and I am truly shocked by the bald faced focus on money as opposed to patient care.

Fantastic experience: I love this practice,particularly Jayaa the hygienist, Anand my dentist and all the receptionists. Everyone is professional, skilled and caring. I can't fault anyone!

Fantastic experience: I reviewed last year when I had a chipped tooth and was given an appointment the same day and dealt with so well. Have had a bridge and two crowns with Rupaul and I couldn’t have been in safer or more sympathetic hands. Together with Magdalena, the two of them have helped me so much with my problems and the care of my teeth. So very grateful.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient of the practice since 2016, I wanted some cosmetic teeth straightening and whitening work and a dental implant. After a great consultation a plan was put in place to achieve what I wanted, and both Dentists worked together to ensure that I got the best result! All of the staff are welcoming and happy to give advice and answer any questions. I am so happy with my end result and would highly recommend the practice.

Fantastic experience: I have never been made to feel so comfortable at a dentist . I booked as a new patient on the recommendation of someone else . I have previously had bad experiences at dentists . I have so far had an initial new patient check up and also seen the hygienist. Fantastic experience: Had an appointment with Magda (Hygienist) today and very satisfied with the treatment. Magda is a lovely lady and very professional - she spends time explaining the treatment and what it entails, does a fantastic job and follows up with excellent care. Cannot rate her highly enough! Fantastic experience: Everyone has been fantastic at Mayhew Dental. My youngest daughter is very anxious and refused to even sit in the chair at our previous dentist. It has taken a couple of appointments, but Rupal has been so patent and encouraging with her and the last time she hopped into the chair with no problems and even spoke to Rupal. My eldest daughter had trouble with having x-rays previously and they have been so kind and patent with her too. Personally they have given me great advice with looking after my own teeth and the hygienist worked wonders at my first visit with her. I will be looking at teeth straitening and whitening for myself in the future and I fully trust the staff here to give me great advice and do an excellent job.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a patient at Mayhew since 2020, when I first came to see Anand for composite bonding. The treatment was carried out with such care and attention. Before we began, I was given a full breakdown of the process to ensure I was comfortable with every step, which really put me at ease. The team genuinely cares about how you feel and goes out of their way to make the experience as smooth and pleasant as possible. They’re so supportive, friendly and approachable, particularly with our young daughters who love going to the dentist whilst many of our friends’ children don’t. Fantastic experience: I visited Mayhew Dental practice today to undergo a root canal treatment with Jasveen and I cannot put into words how happy I was with the service. I have previously had bad experiences at other practices which has caused me to suffer severe anxiety about visiting the dentist however Jasveen took her time and reassured me the whole way through and completely alleviated my concerns. I would have no hesitation in recommending Mayhew Dental and Jasveen to anyone, even moreso if you are nervous.

Fantastic experience: I'm a nervous patient when it comes to the dentist. I had an NHS dentist from when I was a child and used to travel back for regular checkups when I grew older and moved away. Living hours away from my dental practice wasn't really viable, especially as I've had a lot of work done in the past (fillings, extractions, root canal). Covid hit and I fell off the list at my NHS dental practice through a combination of miscommunication and my reluctance to chase down something that I really didn't like doing. Five years passed and after my husband had tried diligently for the tenth time, I booked in to see Jas at Mayhew dental. My husband has been going for a couple of years and he was the one who told me they had an opening for a new patient. I explained how nervous I was and that I was worried I'd be forced onto a dental plan with them (I wasn't). They took their time at the appointment, spoke to me, took it at my pace and all that was needed was a replacement filling that had failed and a long overdue trip to a hygienist (I'd never been to one before). I was able to book in with the hygienist that day (they had a slot) and while not particularly pleasant, it wasn't a painful experience. They've helped me so much with my dental hygiene and I'm really thankful for it. I've since been for my replacement filling and you can't tell. It's one of my big front teeth and the filling had to wrap around to the front and you can't tell from photos that there's anything there. Jas did such a wonderful job and was really patient with me. The nurse was also lovely, reassuring asking if I was OK throughout. My husband has seen two of the other dentists at the practice and he says he almosts drops off to sleep while having work done. While I don't think I'll ever quite reach that, I think it speaks volumes of the care and attention they take. They haven't tried to force anything on me such as teeth whitening, teeth alignment or a dental plan, either which I appreciate. I've been asked if I would consider leaving a review for Mayhew Dental as a result of my recent visit, but all words are my own. I hope this helps others out there who, like me, are really nervous and worried about going to a dentist. It's important that you go and get your oral health checked out and these guys are lovely.

Fantastic experience: Rupal was so brilliant with my 11 year old needing a tooth extraction - the perfect mix of calm and supportive explanation of what would happen, and firm instruction that he needed to look after his teeth better! Having come from a different dentist, I was so pleased to have clear and authoritative advice on how best to proceed, and found myself immediately happy to entrust my son to her care. The whole practice seems such a happy and welcoming place!

Fantastic experience: I am blown away by the quality of service at Mayhew Dental after completing my Invisalign treatment there. They are professional, prompt and considerate. It is evident that great care and attention goes to everything from reception to booking appointments and to all aspects of the actual treatment. Completed my treatment in about six months and I am very happy with the results. The whole process was explained in detail, structured very well and they were very accomodating with scheduling. I wholeheartedly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: If you are looking for a hygienist, then I can’t recommend Magda at Mayhew Dental enough. I needed complex issues to be addressed and Magda is not only exceptional at her job, she communicates, provides context and is sensitive to the requirements of the patient. Totally recommended.

Fantastic experience: Magda has helped some so much with my oral hygiene. She is incredibly professional, thorough, and welcoming. I used to be very nervous to go to the hygienist/ dentist appointments but Magda is an absolute delight and makes me feel completely at ease.

Fantastic experience: I’ve recently joined Mayhew after a 4 year break without a Dentist. I told Anand about my worries and fears and felt listened to and understood by everyone who treated me. I”ve had a full check up, appointment with the orthodontist and a small filling in the last week and my teeth look and feel so much better. This is the closest I’ve had to a pleasant experience at the dentist and have no fear of going back. There may well be cheaper dentists in Swindon, but I bet Mayhew are the best.

Fantastic experience: From the minute you walk through the door you feel really welcome. The receptionists meet you with a smile, and immediately make you feel at ease. The dentists and nurses are relaxed but professional, you don’t feel under pressure to have any treatment if you don’t want to, but you are given excellent dental advice. You don’t feel you are being offered things that you don’t need in order to make money. I would recommend everybody without a dentist to register here if you are looking for a really good friendly, professional dental practice

Fantastic experience: Rupaul is amazing. You can tell she really cares, about her job AND about people. I've been to several dentists in my life and they all left me afraid of going back...I grew up to believe anesthetic doesn't work properly on me and it turns out it does...if the dentist cares enough to do it right. I've been to dentists who didn't care and would tell me to just "bear with it" while they worked or gaslight me into thinking there's something wrong with me and that's why the anesthetic isn't working...I think I'd be able to survive some Saw level movie scene based on the experiences with those other dentists T_T... She's the 2nd good dentist I found in my lifetime...and 2nd experience to prove me that bearing with pain while the dentist works on you is not the norm. She's been kind, listened to my concerns and helped me overcome my fears of dentists. When I cracked a tooth and needed a more extensive aesthetic repair, she referred me to a great oral surgeon, purely to ensure I get the best care possible without concern that by referring me it would mean her getting paid less. Her theatre tech is top notch, and the crown she custom made for me is 10/10! Goes without saying that the place was extremely clean and she would change gloves as often as necessary. As opposed to other (also private) dentists who I actually had to point it out myself on occasion. Her place has also been there for many years so it's good to know you can have consistency in terms of care. I've been struggling to find a good dentist since I was a child so it feels good to have finally had good experiences with them now...in my 30s. Better late than never...glad I found good care...before I'd given up on dentists and who knows how many teeth I'd have left as a consequence lol

Positive experience: Today I went in for a few removals. I was very anxious and quite tearful to be begin with but the staff kept me at ease. Jazz and rupal have been great with me. They are fantastic with the kids to. The best dentist I've been to to be honest. Couldn't imagine going anywhere eles

Fantastic experience: Only been coming here for a few months but have to say the staff and facilities are exceptional. I would highly recommend this surgery. The dentist (Rupal) was knowledgable and I had no issues when i was in her chair, even the injections i hardly felt. They are all about prevention and offer plenty of advice on how to keep your teeth & gums in good shape without any of the patronising chatter I've had elsewhere. Hopefully i wont need too much treatment in the future but will definitey be a regular for my checkups and hygenist appointments. Thanks Mayhew :D

Fantastic experience: Would highly recommend Mayhew. I have had my wisdom tooth out today and was in and out in half an hour. They were very attentive and professional. I was shocked at how quick and painless the procedure was after hearing all the horror stories before hand!

Fantastic experience: I went for a procedure on 7th January with rupal, I am a very nervous patient due to bad experience with other dentists in the past . Rupal was so caring and calming ,before we started we did some breathing together and she reassured me that everything was going to be ok and to trust her ,throughtout the procedure she kept reassuring me and telling me to breath. Fantastic experience: For a person who is petrified of dentist and have numerous bad experiences, Since I have become a patient at Mayhew dental practice I can not praise them enough today I had to have a procedure and I can’t believe how well I was treated and how different a good experience feels. I can’t say I fully over my fear but already I feel comfortable to return for more.

Fantastic experience: May I draw your attention to the excellent dental treatment I have received from Jasveen over the last few weeks. We covered several procedures, the most impressive being the re build of four upper front teeth to match a new plate. To my mind this needed a lot of patience and skill. Throughout all the procedures I was kept informed of progress and my comfort was a priority . Jasveen had a good working relationship with her nurses and this provides a calm and efficient environment as well as excellent care for the patient i.e. me. As a result of her treatment I have a good "new look" and a comfortable brace. Having been under the " MAYHEW" care for some 55 years I feel I am well qualified to give Jasveen a 100% recommendation --first class. Fantastic experience: A huge THANK YOU to Rupal for taking such great care with my daughter, Ishaani. She had 4 teeth taken out on the same day and Rupal was just amazing. Ishaani was a bit anxious before going to Mayhew to have her teeth taken out but Rupal straight away put her at ease. The whole process was executed to perfection and Ishaani only had to take paracetamol the night following her teeth removal and was pain free the following day. The advice given by Rupal and her team was exemplary and the outcome was excellent. The team at Mayhew are friendly, efficient and professional and Dr Rupal is a fabulous dentist who made the whole experience far more pleasant than we could have ever imagined. Fantastic experience: Visit was compulsory as a part of my military application and the practice was very helpful with not only making sure i made the requirements as well as my overall oral health. They were very comforting as it had been quite some time since i last paid a visit and they broke down all the procedures very concise and comprehensively. They were very kind, compassionate, and professional. They frequently made sure i was up to date and reminded me of my appointments which was very helpful as well have very helpfully checked up on me after each procedure. If you have any doubts on this practice or any practice in general- definitely give this a go!

And I've been blown away by the results and how white my teeth have stayed, despite only doing a top up treatment every few months. I can honestly say they are as white as the day I had them done which was in May 2022! Anand was great at explaining the process and made me feel comfortable and confident every step of the way.
