Visited yesterday for a scale and polish excellent virus hygiene all went well. Visited yesterday the Surgery was as friendly and professional as usual - excellent. Needed an urgent appointment to reseat a crown that had come out. Left a message in the evening got a call in the morning come in at 11.05 all fixed in 15 minutes magic 11 out of 10! Had a Check-up yesterday , as always friendly and professional as usual - excellent. Had a scale& polish on 18-2-25, surprised to be treated by new Staff, all OK, there are also other Staff changes, time will tell! Went for a Check-up yesterday, excellent experience as always with Fay 16-3-25. Scale & Polish today - new Team, all went smoothly, friendly and professional - excellent 25-09-25

Fantastic experience: I saw Dom,after being abroad for three weeks and getting a painful tooth infection which had been unable to be treated.Dom carefully examined all my teeth and confirmed the action that needed to be taken and we arranged a treatment plan.I felt happier than I had done for a month now knowing that I was receiving professional advice and treatment which I’m sure will resolve the problem.Thank you.

Negative experience: I was very disappointed with my last visit to the practice. I have been a patient for many years and do a three hour round trip to go for treatment. The new hygienist was a massive let down. The practice has gone from being a friendly but professional place to being rather casual and unprofessional.

Fantastic experience: Yesterday I had my first treatment from the excellent new Dentist ,Jacy,who has taken over the practice from Andrew. As well as being a very nice person she is a very good dentist gentle and caring and I did not feel any pain or discomfort and there were no problems. Jacy is supported by the excellent team of highly professional ,friendly and cheerful staff comprising of receptionists,nurses and hygienists. It couldn`t be any better.Highly recommended. Lawrence Aslett Yesterday (8th July 2021) i had a hygiene appointment which was my first visit to the surgery for 18 months ... I was a bit apprehensive about the new regulations but it all went like clockwork. I tapped on the window to let them know that I was outside and I was called inside almost immediately by the friendly and efficient receptionist who opened the door for me and then I was taken up to the hygienist who was wearing full PPE. I was amazed at how quick and efficient everything was no waiting and the usual excellent care from this team of highly professional and friendly staff. Everything possible has been done to keep you and the staff safe and I felt completely safe and relaxed. Another bonus was that I was able to buy 2 tubes of Duraphat toothpaste for less that half the price I had been paying for one on line when the surgery was closed. Fantastic experience: I recently had cosmetic composite work done by Dom. Through wear and tear one of my front teeth had jagged edges and the back of both of my front teeth had worn at the back. Now they’re so smooth and look great. I would definitely recommend this treatment if you are having a similar issue

They are friendly, welcoming and an incredibly talented bunch of professionals from the reception staff to the dentists, hygienists and Jacob the fabulously friendly dental assistant. I’ve had to have a bit of work done, and Fay the fantastic dentist (and fellow Midlander ) explained the issue, went through the treatment and made sure I understood everything before we proceeded. The procedure was completely painless and I was put at ease immediately with plenty of explanations and checks that all was okay. I am so glad I found them!

I came back after having a break through lockdown and my gums were not in good health, with zero judgement the team helped me get them back to super healthy! Dr Faye managed to remove a half erupted wisdom tooth in 10 seconds, it was fantastically quick. I really like the team and highly recommend them. Teeth are for life and worth taking care of!

Negative experience: Despite the waiting room being empty and informing the receptionist I was outside in the rain it was 10 minutes before I was allowed in. I had booked a 40 min emergency appointment and informed reception that I required at least one filling. After 2 X-rays I was told the filling could not be done on that day and I would have to re book at least 2 more appointments and was billed £73. Having consulted another Dentist it was quickly established that the hole had compacted food in it causing the Gums to be swollen and painful. They quickly removed the food and did a temporary filling. This should of been done during my appointment at the Windmill Dental Practice.

He went above and beyond when I was suffering from an issue which I thought was to do with an infection in my tooth but ended up needing urgent medical attention at a and e. He followed up and ensured I saw the right people quickly. I feel very confident in recommending the Windmill, they are all very helpful and take care of their patients very well.
