Fantastic experience: Smile Tech in Bluewater was my Saviour, I had been to my own dentist twice in 1 week for them to just take xrays but couldn't take my tooth out until the end of November! I was very emotional and in excruciating pain due to a cracked tooth there is no way I could go on another 41 days like this constantly living on pain relief and not sleeping or eating. I filled out the emergency form online for Smile Tech late Friday evening to receive a call back 8.45am the next day to give me an emergency appointment for that morning at 10am. Mary on reception was very helpful and friendly and Dr Raabia Nawaz who extracted my tooth informed me exactly what was going to happen every step of the way. She was very nice, gentle and understanding and got me out of pain. It wasn't cheap but its definatly worth every penny to be finally out of pain. I highly recommend Smile Tech, I would definatly use them again. They are open 7 days a week which is a bonus. I received a phone call today, day after my extraction to check on me that I was doing ok which I thought was really nice. No more waiting months for NHS dentist in an emergency Smile Tech are there to help and are very nice and friendly.

Fantastic experience: I was carrying out some electrical works at Smile Tech and happened to mention a pain in my tooth that I've had for 22 years. I've seen two different dentists who failed to rectify the issue. Caroline asked if she and Dr Abbas Elhousseiny can look and they found the issue straight away. I asked them to pull the tooth and install an implant. My implant (tooth removal, bone graft and implant) was completed last week and I cannot believe the difference. I have no more pain and a new tooth that blends in so well. As someone who has always had bad experiences with dentists, I can honestly say that they are fantastic and I cannot fault them.

Fantastic experience: Dr Raabia Nawaz is so professional. She is an amazing person and dentist. Makes you feel at ease the moment you walk into the surgery. Has a great sense of of humour too. Fantastic experience: I highly recommend registering at Smile Tech Dental Clinic. 10 out of 10 for sure!!! I first had braces fitted on my teeth back in December 2023 by Dr Ali Elhousseiny at the Dental Clinic and since then my teeth have gotten much better and I’ve almost reached the desired results. All the members of staff are amazing and extremely friendly. Smile Tech truly is the best dental clinic. I come to the clinic each month to get my teeth checked and fitted with new and different parts of the braces by Dr Ali, Caroline and Avery. I had another monthly appointment back in June and July with Avery and Dr Bala, they polished my teeth and restored the bracket that I broke. I will definitely always stick with Smile Tech

Fantastic experience: Convenient (open 7 days a week). Clean facilities and welcoming staff. Dental work was completed to the highest standards. Would definitely recommend.

Negative experience: So I went there for an emergency dental appointment for £85 because the temporary crown that was placed after the first root canal session in another clinic fell off and I went there to have it glued back or they can make me a new one. She told me it is £250 to glue it back?! That is quite expensive when others do it for £120 just to glue it back and she wouldnt even make me a new one because she said there wasnt enough time. The clinic was tiny and cramped and very chaotic. I didn’t feel like I was in a dental clinic. But one good thing is that the receptionists are nice and the dentist who saw me was also nice. It was just ridiculous to charge a patient £250 just to glue it back, also she did not really assess my tooth properly so the £85 I paid was not really worth it at all. We just talked for 5 minutes thats all. I just wasted my £85 up in the air. Too bad! When I really needed the money.

Fantastic experience: A most amazing experience at Smiletech in Bluewater. Friendly, professional team. I’d popped in there several times but didn’t commit to an appointment. Each time though, I was met with a smile and absolutely no pressure sales. I knew I’d be coming in eventually and I wasn’t disappointed at all. Everything was explained carefully and I was given options. I still got amazing service after turning down other upgrades (I’ll be back for those later). I’m usually anxious when lying down in a strange place… at smiletech, I fell asleep (that’s a big deal). Same amazing service when I popped in to get my whitening kit. I’m ashamed I can’t recall names but the service was perfect with everyone I met. Thank you guys See you again soon TG

Fantastic experience: I am amazed by this company! Seriously amazed! I haven't been to ANY dentist since I was a child. I had a dreadful experience and i vowed to never visit a dentist. However a broken wisdom tooth, and a cracked molar left me in so much pain that I had to do something! So, mustering up every inch of bravery I could find, i went in and got an emergency appointment. The Dentist i saw was a lovely guy, he explained everything and gave me 2 options. I decided I wanted the teeth extracted, that could only be done by surgery. So I agreed to that, however I had to wait 2 weeks as the dentist was on leave. When the day came, I was terrified, however i went through with it! Apart from disliking certain sounds, it was all fine! I even had 2 embedded roots removed. My mouth was so numb, however 2 hours later I had feeling back. I ate soft food, had salt water mouth washes and took ibuprofen when I could. Now after 2 weeks, my mouth is virtually fine! It also feels a lot better. I've also had a follow up appointment and things are going very well. I've had some advice about next steps and that was also very helpful. So, thank you! Thank you for everything! I am pain free, my mouth and gums and teeth feel a whole lot better! Genuinely thank you! I appreciate that choosing a dentist is never easy, however I am an extremely nervous person, so trust me when I say this dentist will put you at ease. However don't take my word for it, go and see for yourself!

Fantastic experience: I cannot fault the treatment I have received from the whole team at smile tech Bluewater, from my initial visit in Feb to the completion of my treatment today. It was a Friday, I was going on a long haul flight the following Tuesday, I had been in severe pain for a week or so, my regular dentist had performed a partial root canal a few days before, but by the Friday I was crying with the extremity of the pain, I was sure I would have to cancel my holiday. I called smile tech, they booked me in for an emergency appointment the same day. Dr Ali and Avory were fantastic, they are a great team, Dr Ali performed an emergency extraction to a molar with professionalism and expertise, my holiday was saved!!! I have just had my implant completed after several months of visits ensuring that the extraction site was healed and going through the processes required for the implant and crown. The reception team also need to be praised, they are always really friendly and always call me the day before an appointment. Thank you all

Fantastic experience: I’ve never minded going to the dentist, always just thought they’re the same. Go in, keep your head down, wait until it’s your turn and awkwardly let someone investigate your mouth. But smile tech have created a completely different experience. I’ve had two implants and other minor fillings in the past 4 months all which been and gone without a single hitch. The reception team are more than helpful and clearly have a good relationship with the dentist. Shan consistently communicated what I’m having on each appointment, what I can expect as a patient and has been brilliant helping manage our diary’s. Dr. Abbas and Avory a well oiled and extremely professional duo. I’ve felt informed when iv been inquisitive, reassured when nervous and treated like the most important patient of their day (when I’m clearly not). A huge thank you to Smile Tech and the woman in charge, Caroline who has created not only an amazing team but a terrific dental practice. I wouldn’t recommend anywhere else. Alex

Fantastic experience: Last Friday I called Smile tech as I had pain in the left side of my mouth, the receptionist was very kind and booked me same day as an emergency. I saw Dr Abbas and Avory who were both excellent and very professional, they also made me feel at ease during the wisdom tooth extraction. I feel so much better for having it removed. Dr Abbas spent a lot of time with me and was very thorough and explained everything in detail especially the X-rays. I’m very thankful, they’re brilliant. The receptionist Manisha was professional and kept checking in on me when I was waiting. I 100% recommend Smile Tech!

Fantastic experience: I see dr mani today for the startings of a root canal I was in so much pain and the infection had spread and was starting the beginning of an abscess, when I tell you this man and the lady with him are the best dentist I’ve ever seen I’m not lying I’m the most anxious paranoid nervous person and it’s the first time I’ve gone to a dentist and actually felt so at ease he has got me out of pain and done it so smoothly and with zero pain if I could afford to go to him every single time my god I would and if you have the money go to him you will not be disappointed I cannot thank him enough and hopefully will be able to wait it out long enough to have him do my full root canal rather than have it done on nhs I don’t trust anyone but him now amazing dentist staff are all so lovely receptionist is the sweetest lady thankyou so much dr mani truly you have helped months of pure pain im just amazed honestly made me so comfortable talked me through everything and the reassurance you would not find that on nhs ever

Negative experience: Reply to your response: For anyone reading this, I encourage you to look up GDC No. 283025 in the dental register and assess for yourself whether his qualifications, experience, and university background support his claim of having fitted 6,000 implants. It’s worth considering why someone with such credentials would be working in a small clinic for someone else while mistreating clients. Your response is also extremely inaccurate. The doctor did, in fact, make rude comments, to the point where I had to ask him to stop—something you yourself heard. He never greeted me or asked what the issue was before making his remarks. His opinion on my implant is simply incorrect. At just almost 2 months post-procedure, the healing process is still ongoing, and my implant is progressing exactly as expected. I have consulted my surgeon—one of the leading experts in this field, recognized internationally for his work, teaching globally, and featured in multiple research studies—who has confirmed that there are absolutely no issues. It is disappointing that instead of offering constructive insight, your “dentist” chose to unjustifiably criticize another professional’s work. Perhaps he should focus on staying up to date with advancements in modern dental procedures rather than making baseless judgments. Additionally, his claim that my implant is failing is completely unfounded. Once my implant has fully healed, I will provide an update, including photos and my surgeon’s comments, so that you may share them with your dentist. This might serve as a useful reference and an opportunity for further training on how to assess an implant’s healing process in its early stages. Your response only further reflects the lack of professionalism demonstrated during my visit. ********* I recently contacted this clinic for an emergency appointment as my dental implant abutment had become unscrewed. The receptionist was lovely and managed to book me in for the same day, which I truly appreciated. However, my experience with the dentist was nothing short of shocking. Upon arrival, I checked in and was called in after a few minutes. I greeted the dentist ( Dr Abbas Elhousseiny )and his assistant, but the dentist didn’t even acknowledge me. I proceeded to explain my issue, yet he showed no concern or compassion. After taking an X-ray, he immediately asked where and when I had my implant done. When I mentioned it was a recent procedure in Brazil using guided surgery—a widely recognized and successful method—his response was unbelievably rude. Without any proper assessment, he outright claimed my implant was poorly fitted and insulted the dentist who performed it, calling them "useless" and saying they needed to "review how they do implants." His tone was condescending and unprofessional, showing no empathy or reassurance. When I asked him to stop because his comments were making me uncomfortable, he gave a half-hearted apology but continued being negative. At one point, he even hesitated to screw the abutment back in, saying he didn’t want to be blamed if anything went wrong—despite it being a simple two-minute procedure. I reassured him I would not blame him, as this was just a minor adjustment, not a surgery. He finally did it, and in less than 30 seconds, it was done. I thanked them and left in complete shock. By the time I reached reception, I broke down in tears. I have never experienced such unprofessional and insensitive behavior from a healthcare professional. A good dentist should support their patients, not belittle them or their previous treatments—especially without proper evaluation. Even if there were concerns about my implant, there are appropriate and respectful ways to communicate them. My implant is still in the healing process, and his comments were not only unnecessary but also completely unfounded. To make matters worse, the clinic couldn’t even get my basic details—name, date of birth, and gender—correct, despite me filling them in. I paid £85 for a 30-second procedure and 5 minutes of insults. Absolutely unacceptable.

Fantastic experience: Dr Ali is the best dentist I’ve ever come across, professional, an expert at what he does, he will give you his advice and let you come to your own informed decision without rushing you, he stopped the agony caused by my molar a few seconds after I walked into his clinic, I felt he had my best interest at heart which is very hard to come by these days. Fantastic experience: Started my Invisalign journey more than a year ago at SmileTech and now have a perfect smile all thanks to Ericka as the level of care I got from her was first class, she is a professional. She made sure I was comfortable throughout the whole Invisalign process and gave me lots of advice on how to look after my teeth properly moving forward. Fantastic experience: This is a fantastic dental clinic and I highly recommend it to everyone. All the staff and owners, Caroline & Mary are very kind, welcoming and a true asset to this company. My mum and I have used the clinic for a number of various treatments over the years and recently. I have seen this clinic grow to great heights since it first opened. We are very lucky to have a dental clinic in Bluewater Shopping Centre. My mum is elderly with severe osteoporosis and I took her to see Dr Ali after a NHS clinic in Gravesend, failed to diagnose and treat her dental issue properly and she was suffering with pain. Dr Ali came to the rescue and saved my mum's molar and carried out a successful root canal with thorough treatment. Dr Ali is a highly skilled and experienced dentist. He is very honest, kind, caring, and respectful and treats my mum like his mum! My mum loves going to the clinic, everyone there shows her so much love and care. Thank you Dr Ali and the whole team for all that you have done for my mum and I to date. Also thank you to the lovely Dental Nurses, Manju and Avery who are always very kind and bubbly!! We have also been treated by the other dentists here too, who are also very good. Fantastic experience: I have never had a hygenist appointment before, due to having a fear of the dentist from past experiences. I was seen by Frances and it was a great experience! She was so lovely and welcoming, as was the nurse (whose name I have forgot!) I felt very at ease and my teeth look so much better now. I was given advice and tips to help and didn’t feel silly no matter what i asked. Will 100% be returning. Thank you for transforming my smile!!!

Negative experience: A modern dental practice with fairly good reviews online which is why I thought this might be a good regular dentist. Unfortunately, I was mistaken. I've had 3 visits at this dental practice over the last few months and I do not recommend it for regular dental treatment. On my initial visit I was advised I needed 2 fillings, which I booked in - first issue arose as I spotted that there is no option to choose a type of filling (as per other dental practices), there is only one at £180 per filling option. Secondly, I was advised to switch the Durophat 2800 toothpaste - the Receptionist advised it was £15 per tube. I knew this was overpriced and advised I would be taking the private prescription with me to fulfill somewhere else e.g. Boots. The Receptionist kept pressuring me to buy from the practice and said I wouldn't get it from Boots - I ignored her and did get the prescription fulfilled at Boots at a third of the price. The real problems then started with the actual dental treatment. Neither filling has gone smoothly. One filling has settled down now with minimal sensitivity. The other filling, where I had no problems prior to a visit at this dental practice, has caused so many problems that I can't chew on the left hand side of my mouth anymore. When they started to do the filling I stated something didn't feel normal, they asked whether to inject more anaesthetic I declined purely as I knew how much was already given. I gave Smile Tech the chance to rectify the issue by contacting them - they did ask me to come in at no charge which I did with a different dentist due to availability. The issue hasn't been rectified and I'm still not able to chew on the left hand side of my mouth. On my visit with the alternative dentist there was clearly a communication issue between the dentist and the dental nurse e.g. they couldn't decide who was updating my records or which dental instruments to use etc. I came away from my second dental treatment with a tiny bit of drilling on the second filling but with a full 6 hours required to regain feeling in my mouth and most importantly the issue being unresolved. In summary, avoid this dentist for regular treatment. I am having to go to an alternative dentist to rectify the sub-standard treatment.

Positive experience: Make sure to map out your teeth journey with your dentist properly before you go ahead with your treatment. We didn't do so, so I didn't have a seamless journey however the dentist and staff were very accommodating and did all possible to get me back on track. I wouldn't recommend their whiting treatment unfortunately. It didn't make a difference, so wasn't worth the price point. Also, very happy with their customer service.

Negative experience: I wouldn't recommend, I was asked to bring my appointment forward an hour as the dentist had a flight to catch. I couldn't bring it forward and so I suggested changing the date, I was told no it's OK keep the appointment as it is. The appointment was so rushed and I was in so much pain (fillings). The dentist was out the door before I even sat up and rinsed my mouth out. I had no isses with pain or sensitivity in these teeth before I went to smile tech. I was told I needed these fillings and now I have pain and sensitivity in these teeth. If there wasn't time to complete the treatment I wish I was told to just change the appointment so I wouldn't have been rushed through. I'm looking for a new dentist to fix the isses that smile tech have caused. I had better treatment at my old NHS dentist, should have just saved money and stayed at the NHS! Definitely avoid!

Fantastic experience: I had the most painful tooth ever. The team took very good care of me and they were so supportive. I had a RCT and tooth extraction on the same day, they had no appointment slots but managed to squeeze me in cuz of my pain. I left pain free and I have recovered fully. Fantastic experience: I'm new to the centre and super impressed so far. The reception staff always give a nice greeting and are lovely to chat to. The dentist is always good at checking I'm OK throughout treatment and gives a detailed an explanation at the end. Definitely recommend!

Fantastic experience: Website is so easy to use with all available appointments and times shown, just pick one and thats it. Friendly staff and the dentist will put you at ease with some calming music. Aftercare was fantastic and even got a phone call the next morning to see how i was (tooth extraction). All in all a great service.

Fantastic experience: Extremely nervous client, having endured the mid-70's having fillings aged 7 with no pain relief, stepped up enough courage to walk through the door or Smile Tech mid Jan. I was met with a sympathetic, understanding welcome and was reassured it has all changed since then. The initial assessment was painless and straightforward. Ali and his team had me back in for the required work and after a thorough clean and two painless extractions later, I walked out a new man! No more jagged broken teeth cutting into my tongue/cheeks and I can now eat on both sides of my mouth. Thanks to all the staff for their help. I'll not hesitate to pop back for a check up/clean.

Fantastic experience: Was super nervous about my hygiene appointment as I’m not too keen on going to the Dentist, however I must say Frances was amazing and put me at ease straight away. She was super reassuring, friendly, patient and gentle! I’m definitely much more calmer about my future appointments now!

Fantastic experience: If all dentists were like Dr Abbas Ali El Housseiny , I wouldn’t have grown up with such a fear of the dentist. Despite at times my fear being very obvious (and probably over dramatic) his calming nature is somewhat contagious. I’ve never had such a good experience at the dentist (and this appointment was for a root canal!). He has gained my trust, and a new regular patient/customer.

Fantastic experience: Booked appointment with Ericka Majd at Bluewater for checkup and dental plan. Had to have 3 composite veneers, 2 fillings and hygiene check. The level of care I got from Ericka was first class, she is professional and an artist. My teeth haven't looked so good for years. As for the reception staff, they were very professional and very friendly. I have found my go to dentist.

Negative experience: I wish people stop using this Dental Practice for the reason of being the only business that open in Blue Water on the day of the Queens Funeral, when the all world stopped. Funny enough Caroline the owner stay at home but force her staff to go to work. Bad on you Caroline! Disgraceful, disrespectful

Negative experience: Absolutely shocking. Unpleasant staff. Kept me waiting an hour after my appointment while everyone else was going through but came long after me. Overpriced and unprofessional!
