Fantastic experience: Whenever Mum attends the dentist your staff are always smiling, happy and professional. Mum has mobility issues and the dentist and her assistant are always so caring, friendly and supportive and communicate brilliantly at all times. The reception staff are always friendly, caring and professional.

Fantastic experience: This was my very first filling and I had been filled with dread after hearing so many horror stories. On top of that I had been in excruciating pain for three days leading up to the appointment which left me anxious and exhausted . From the moment I sat in the chair, however, I was struck by the calm professionalism and patience of Rhys and his team. They guided me through the procedure with such reassurance that, despite my nerves, I felt safe in their care. What could have been an ordeal became instead an enormous relief. I am deeply grateful for their expertise and kindness — it has completely shifted how I feel about dental treatment

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to lister house for around a year now to complete a procedure and I definitely recommend choosing lister house as your dental centre! I’ve been looked after by Dr Raj and his dental assistant Sam and they are both lovely. I’m always kept in the loop, they answer all my questions, they make me feel comfortable and well looked after!! I was indecisive at first but all my doubts, Raj made sure he put them all at ease. Fantastic experience: I recently had a tooth implant treatment with Dr Hindocha. From the very beginning she took the time to explain each step of the process in full and provided reading material to assist. The treatment itself was plain sailing - painless throughout with Dr Hindocha ensuring I was comfortable. The end result is exactly what I hoped for - a functioning tooth! I’d recommend to anyone looking for a professional service.

Fantastic experience: I was so nervous for my first hygienist appointment but Laura and Maggie were so friendly and reassuring. They spoke to me throughout the whole appointment and made me feel calm and at ease. The fear was all in my head as it did not hurt at all and my teeth felt absolutely amazing after! The procedure was actually quite relaxing! I will be back in 6 months time for my next appointment! Thank you so much ladies :)

Negative experience: I was ill on the morning of my appointment and called to give 2 hours notice but was told that I had to forfeit my deposit as I didn't give more than 24 hours notice. Not too sure how I could have known I would be ill the day before - Would your team rather I came in to the surgery ill around other patients? A short sighted decision - I was a customer with several previous visits but won't be returning.

Negative experience: Shocking. Left with a constantly infected wisdom tooth spoke to disgustingly by the owner and maleka . It's all over social media honestly they leave there patients in pain and negotiable bullying

Fantastic experience: It’s now about nine months since my implant was fitted by Raj Mehta and I have subsequently had no trouble with it at all. Before commencing the procedure I was both apprehensive of what might be involved and unsure of whether it would be worth it. In the event, from my first appointment with Raj to review the possibility of such a procedure together with any alternatives, and then on through what I discovered to be a quite complicated but interesting process, any such concerns proved to have been unwarranted. At every stage, I was thoroughly impressed by all those involved with everything being carefully both explained and undertaken. So now looking back, I am very happy that what at first seemed an expensive option has turned out to have been the right decision, particularly as undertaken by such an excellent and caring team.

Fantastic experience: Delighted to share this review on behalf of my father in-law who has had a fantastic experience receiving dental treatment at Lister Dental Centre. Dr. Raj Mehta has been incredible for the entirety of the implant treatment. Particular care and consideration was taken to ensure the procedures involved were as gentle and pain free as possible. My father in-law was fully informed and felt completely at ease, understanding each stage. The final result is natural and stable, a clear example of high quality dentistry. We would fully recommend the practice, and of course, Raj.

Negative experience: Absolutely fuming with this dental surgery receptionist The one wearing glasses … long ponytail !!!! I ended up in the wrong surgery in Harlow … Called this receptionist to explain !! She told me I could ever make an appointment for another time or if I could get to the surgery quick I could still be seen … I told her I would be 10 minutes which she said was fine !!! Arrived at surgery to be told by her I was too late !!! When asking her why she told me 10 minutes would be fine she actually bare faced lied telling me she didn’t say that … I reminded her again our conversation had over the phone but she continued to say she did not say it .. Wow why would I have turned up 10 minutes later !!! Your receptionist needs to admit when wrong.. You absolute liar !!! Won’t be going back there for sure !!!

Negative experience: Really not happy. Paid private to see Dr Lee, my gums were receeding and she suggested filling around the tooth I was having pain with. This cost me £140 She said It doesn't always last but I could go back as many times as it was guaranteed for a year. Two months later the filling crumbled away. Phoned today for an appointment to be told she has left and now on maternity leave. She obviously knew she was leaving so how can she give that guarantee.If I see another dentist they would refill it with no cost but I would have to pay a consultation fee!

Negative experience: Awful customer service, even as a private customer. No consideration for the patient. Tried to be considerate and rebook due to sickness and was told that I get charged a late cancellation fee, no flexibility at all. Well, unfortunately the whole system is so broken that dentists can just do what they want. Very disappointing.

Negative experience: Emergency treatment requested today no appointment until mid October

Fantastic experience: i started my Invisalign journey just over18months ago and i have to say i am over the moon with the results, i have always had a phobia of the dentist but Dr Rajan Mehta and his assistant put me at ease and made my journey so much better, i would like to thank Dr Raj and his assistant for everything and wish them all the best in the future

The experience starts with the professionalism of the receptionists, the friendliness of staff, ease of understanding of terms and nice atmosphere. My procedure was performed by hygienist Eloise and her assistant Albena and it was such an easy and smooth operation, it was over before I knew it. Experience second to none. Negative experience: Since my previous dentist left and I've been handed over as a patient to a new dentist, as in they are new to the field, I have had a few complaints where before I had none. Attended yesterday for an emergency appointment as I have a gap I can't get food out of (awkward angle) and my gum is inflamed. He didn't seem particularly bothered, just told me to stick a tepe brush in it. Not sure how making myself bleed (because that is what I have to do to clean in the gap as I can't see what I'm doing in front of a mirror with my hand in the way) is going to lessen the inflammation or reduce the risk of infection. Also wanted me to put the x-ray bite block at the back of my mouth (this is an issue around a wisdom tooth) and bite down. How? How am I supposed to bite down on the bite block when the top of it and bottom of it are already both against the roof and bottom of my mouth before I can close ANY of my teeth together? I'm not a snake, I can't unhinge my jaw. He said it might be uncomfortable? The only way that I could possibly have an x-ray that far back with that in my mouth is if my jaw was dislocated or I want to slice through the bottom/top of my mouth. I'll just have to wait for my tooth to rot or a serious infection before they try alternatives to see IF there is a problem then right?

Fantastic experience: Whow!! An amazing experience from start to finish. Raj was so helpful..explained step by step what was going to happen. He is an artist, very professional There was never a time when I thought I’ve had enough now. The teeth straightening was nearly 7 months But well worth the time. Something I have thought about for a long time but never have done. If I had known how The end teeth have ended up I would have done it years ago. I have been a patient at lister house for 43 years and four generations of my family have been there. I cannot express how much I would urge people to go there to get their teeth done…

Negative experience: The worst experience ever. My child is in agony.. the teeth hasn’t been cleaned and filling was done on a bad teeth.. lets hope it wont get infected.. 100% won’t be back there anymore.. how many times we been at another practice the child was always happy even they have done the fillings.. but this time they haven’t even put any pain reliefs before trying to fix. Child was crying and the Dentists didn’t cared.. . Don’t recommend to anyone to bring their own children there. Thats not how the teeth supposed to look after “cleaning” and fillings done.

Fantastic experience: My hygienist appointment on 12.03.24 with Eloise Anstiss and Albena was a bliss. I am a very nervous patient, but they both put me at ease. The cleaning was thorough and I did appreciate Eloise taking the time to show me a better technique to floss and pointed out areas I regularly miss. All under 40 minutes start to finish.

Negative experience: we booked an appointmen at 4.40 pm and we paid 60£ for the check and 15 for the x-ray basically my husband have s very pain tooth eich is moving aswell and he can't eat and drink because of the pain and when she did the x-ray she said the only solutions is to take off the tooth ! but my husband wasn't really happy to take the tooth off . she should suggest an implant or something thats what she work for . and then we been asked more then a time to give him some painkiller to calm the pain and she said no no i cant give anything just take paracetamol and ibuprofen !!!! really ??! i knew it that already bymyself i tried but didnt work that s why i go to the dentist to give me something strong to calm the pain but she didnt care at all. very disappointed! we've been ti pharmacy and they give him like a gel to calm a pain and then the dentist that is working for this she could'nt prescribe him something ??? very disappointed ! and then he left his job for been seeing for 5 minute .

Fantastic experience: I met Neal by chance at Boots and he went out of way to help me with a horrible toothache in my molar. Booking an appointment was so easy Visited the clinic had the tooth dressed Had a root canal recommended Everything was clearly explained to me, from why the tooth was hurting, to why I needed a root canal. Cost of treatment was very clearly explained and reasonable by private clinic standards After a painless experience the pain actually went away, putting me out of days of misery. 11/10 would travel over 2 hours to this dentist again

Fantastic experience: I recently had two teeth replaced via dental implants with Dr. Hindocha and I couldn't have wished for a more skilled and compassionate delivery. Negative experience: Be careful, if you book private consultation. Dentist charged my son £300 pounds for a consultation and tooth extraction,he was so desperate he paid it, 30 mins, £600 per hour not bad money. BECAUSE There is a lack of dentists. It seems it gives the go ahead to rip people off, I phoned another dentist practice and they charge max £150. Shame on you lister house house dental practice.

Although there is never enough care taken at home for one's teeth, she was complimentary and most supportive.
