Negative experience: if i could give this dentist 0 stars i would since megan left i had nothing but issues and had to get a second opinion cause jenita said she was gonna do a “root canal” and i got a second opinion cause three weeks later still in pain to find out she ruined my tooth didn’t do a root canal properly to find out its gonna cost me £600 to get it fixed. im fuming wouldn’t use this dentist again !

Positive experience: Professional and friendly, with built in reminder systems. Does feel slightly expensive for the time allocated and an NHS facility so could put a lot of patients off. However was overall a good experience albeit left with some sensitivity the following day.

Fantastic experience: An excellent and highly recommended dental practice. My oral health has been very fortunate to be under the care of Dr. Tarvinder Sunnar for many years now. Dr. Sunnar does a fantastic job of looking after my teeth and his advice on brushing, gum care and oral hygiene has been exemplary and definitely saved me from requiring further treatment. The receptionists are always very helpful and the practice recently benefitted from a top-class upgrade to enlarge the waiting room and incorporate very welcome customer toilet facilities too.

Negative experience: Dentist Tavinder Sunnar is on a complete power trip. Removed the wrong tooth from mouth. Unprofessional, rude, doesn’t take any responsibility. Took ages to get a refund. He kept changing subject when was asked why. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. They should honestly get rid of him.

I can't seem to locate your patient information and am unaware of any patients going through any treatments where a tooth has been removed in error or a refund needing to be issued as I do these personally.
I am therefore really concerned about the comments you have left here.
Dr Sunnar is the owner of the practice so we do not have plans to have him vacate his position.
I really feel that it may be better to reach out to me at the practice so we can discuss your comments as we do vehmently deny them.

Negative experience: Wasn’t overly happy that I got charged for being 10 mins late for my hygienist at 10:00. Apparently the hygienist couldn’t fit me in despite only one person being called through from the waiting room up until 10:30. But then sat 21 minutes waiting for my 10:30 check up and was called at 10:52….and was out of the door at 11:00.

To clarify, hygienist appointments are 30 minutes long to allow enough time for a thorough clean and oral health advice. When a patient arrives 10 minutes late, unfortunately it isn’t possible to complete the appointment safely or effectively without impacting yours or the next patient’s care. Although it may have appeared quiet in the waiting room, our team works to a set schedule throughout the day.
As these are private appointments and our hygienists are self-employed professionals, a fee is charged for missed or late attendance to secure their time and service — a policy that is always made clear at the time of booking.
With regard to your 10:30 appointment, this was an NHS dental appointment rather than a private hygiene visit. NHS dental treatment can occasionally run behind due to unforeseen clinical needs or emergency cases, and we thank you for your patience in these situations. We do our best to keep delays to a minimum while ensuring each patient receives the care they need.

Positive experience: The care I have received from Megan the Dentist and Gayathri has been amazing. The first time I contacted Brockley House was when I was in a lot of pain having never attended as a patient. They fit me in the same day and Megan really helped me out. After that appointment they moved me over to being an NHS patient (which is mighty hard to find these days!). Since, I've seen Gayathri twice who has been great with me to improve my Gum Health. Only one of my appointments have people been running to time, most of the time there is quite a wait but I'd say that's down to the quality of care they're offering here.

Negative experience: Receptionist was v rude insisting I provide my nhs no to book appt even though I'd been registered over 6 years here. It's not something most ppl have immediately. She insisted they no longer held my details but they did actually have all my info. Despite needing an urgent appt for a filling they had fitted, she refused to book me in and told me to find somewhere else or pay private fee. She was v rude in her tone.

I'm sorry to read such a poor review of your experience at our practice.
It would be really valuable to me to have a conversation with you about this as we dont require an NHS number to book appointments.
We do however require them to reinstate a patient who may not have been for 2 years and have lapsed. Information about this is on NHS Englands website. We do routinely offer patients private places if this is the case or if we are unable to accept patients at all (even if they had previously been a patient). Again it would be useful for me to know more details so I can help you and see where it is we may have gone wrong.

Fantastic experience: I used to feel a deep sense of fear whenever I thought about going to the dentist. However, a couple of years ago, I mustered the courage to finally get my teeth taken care of. I can honestly say that my perspective has completely changed—I no longer feel anxious about visiting my hygienist. Bivina is incredibly kind and patient; she always takes the time to explain everything to me in a way that I can easily understand. She also provides helpful instructions to take home, which really empower me to care for my teeth better. The entire team, from the nurses to the receptionists, is genuinely compassionate and welcoming. Overall, I cannot recommend this dental practice highly enough!
