They fitted me in urgently, showed great kindness and care, and in all honesty provided the best dental treatment and overall experience I have ever had. The whole team is professional, compassionate, and highly skilled. I am extremely grateful for the way they looked after me and have even written to the GDC to provide formal praise and feedback on this practice. Fantastic experience: I've been a patient at Appletree, for a number of years I only wish I'd known how good they are years ago. I was previously with one the the major chain dentists and the contrast between their approach and Appletrees could not be greater. Appletree's staff are attentive and strive to deliver the best treatment for their patients whereas the larger multiple dentists only work to provide what is most expedient for themselves. I've just had three large, infected molars removed - the only pain I felt was the initial injection to numb my gums. Amazing service which they followed up the next day by checking how I was. All th personnel go above and beyond to ensure their patients receive the best treatment they can provide.

Negative experience: Great professional & friendly service from lovely caring people! Always a pleasure to visit. UPDATE: 5 years to respond?? That review was directed at the previous owners and posted over 5 years ago! Unfortunately, I can’t say the same for the current owner. I complained about the constant price increases on the denplan and would continue as a pay as you go client after my next check up in the July and then annual appointments instead of 6 monthly. Result; They cancelled my July appointment! Totally unprofessional, which has resulted in me taking my obviously not very valued business to another practise.

Fantastic experience: Had to take my very nervous (virtually terrified) partner to get a tooth removed.. getting him to agree to visit a dentist was the hardest part; Appletree come highly recommended to us. From the second we walked into the surgery we were greeted by friendly and welcoming staff who could tell my partner was on edge and did all they could to reassure him. He was seen by Cerise for his initial check up and treatment and I cannot thank her enough for transforming the way he feels about visiting the dentist. He had 2 teeth removed super quickly (much to my dismay as I was looking forward to camping out and reading a few chapters of my book, 2 pages in I get a call to say they are finished). He said it was such a pain free experience and he is so relieved that he has now found a dentist he can trust. The surgery was also very very clean both times we visited which made for great first impressions and added to the professional environment. Overall... 5 star service and we highly recommend Appletree dental surgery!

Fantastic experience: I had a tooth extracted at the surgery. I was very nervous as it was the first ever for me and I'm not a youngster! The receptionist was so nice, helping me with breathing and visualisation techniques and the dental nurse was kind and encouraging while Mr Tighre removed the offending molar. He explained everything as we went through the procedure and I felt safe in his hands. After care has been excellent too. A fab practice all in all and highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: I went to Apple Tree dentist as a complete terrified phobic, crying and shaking as I waited for my first appointment. I now feel completely relaxed and not at all worried, after 4 appointments I feel so happy and safe that I have even chosen to have a few cosmetic procedures! The receptionists are angels, just so kind and attentive, they talked to me to calm me down and they absolutely lovely. The dental nurses are so reassuring and caring too. Antoinette my dentist is so patient and helpful, she made it clear from the very beginning that she would go at my pace and stop if I needed her to, this made all the difference to me. I am no longer scared to go, and I am so very grateful that I found you. Thank you ❤️

Fantastic experience: I have been a client of Appletree Dental Surgery for quite a few years. In my opinion the surgery is run very professionally and all the staff are extremely friendly and helpful, it's always a pleasure to have a dentist appointment. On my last visit I saw Tara who is very knowledgeable as a dentist, I have learnt things from her that no other dentist has told me. Leeane was my new hygienist, Jo did tell me she was very good and I wasn't disappointed. I always recommend Appletree to people because the service they provide is an excellent one!

Positive experience: I was impressed by the hygienist who I met for the first time on 18 June. She explained everything clearly and did a very thorough job. But, unfortunately, after waiting more than half an hour for my scheduled appointment with the dentist, I was told that the appointment would have to be re-scheduled on another day. The long wait for an appointment which did not materialise was frustrating and I had certainly not experienced this before.

Fantastic experience: This is a small practice in an East Kent village, this means you have (if restricted choice of either the dentist or hygienist. I have been seen by a (female) dentist, and her nurse assistant, and along with the receptionist, they were all very nice, polite and knowledgeable. Yes, very good all round.

Fantastic experience: I was so impressed with everyone at Appletree Dental Surgery. From the moment I contacted them via telephone and was warmly welcomed by Tracie, to when I stepped through the door and was greeted by Fern. Their warmth and friendliness was very comforting and reassuring. I needed a root canal treatment, and my dentist Antoinette and her Dental Nurse Kayleigh were so lovely. Every step was explained in advance, and despite a root canal being a lengthy progress, they were the most caring and empathetic pair I could have wished for. Not only did the first of the two sessions totally remove all the pain I had been experiencing for the previous 3 months, the 2nd session was equally smooth sailing. Kayleigh’s attitude of constant re-assurance and checking that I was doing OK was the most wonderful compassionate experience I have ever received from a Dental Nurse. Antoinette’s skill as a dentist is utterly pleasing and I cannot recommend this pair highly enough. Thank you Appletree for restoring my faith in Dentists and Dental Treatment. Fantastic experience: I have always been a VERY nervous patient but for the first time in my 50+ years I was able to visit and have treatment done all by myself, this is due to the amazing reception staff taking my mind off why I was there and the caring patience I have received on my visits, can not recommend highly enough.

The price quoted for the treatment covered the return visit needed when the first two attempts failed and i needed surgery. I was always made to feel important and treated with respect. Fantastic experience: I Visited Appletree Dental Surgery on the 20th of March 2024. Mr Williams did a root canal for me. It was my first experience of having a root canal done and I have to say that Mr Williams and his team were great. They kept me informed throughout and made sure I was comfortable. If I had to have another root canal done it would be Mr Williams that I would want to do it.

Fantastic experience: First time back after a year and I made a special trip back from London for my appointment . The team on reception were super helpful and did everything to make sure I made my train back in time. I have always rated AppleTree and despite living in London now haven’t moved to a local practice because the quality of treatment here is so good. Whether it’s cosmetic dentistry you are looking for or a traditional twice a year scale and polish / check up I think the team here are second to none and I have no hesitation in recommending Alina and the team. The new face lift the practice had been given as a result of the refurb is really inviting as well.

Fantastic experience: Unlike receptionists at other practices, Tracy and Fern, are as helpful as possible while still being efficient and do their best to put one at ease. My experience at this dental practice has been much better than any other I have visited in many years. Apple Tree dentists do not, like too many male dentists, impatiently and condescendingly presume patients are unintelligent and lack any pertinent knowledge. Apple Tree dentists listen to your concerns with explanations that are easy to understand and consider any suggestion you may have while still providing the best solution to a particular dental problem that they are able to provide. The standard of their duty of care to their patients is higher than any other dentists I have met. Most other dentists (and their receptionists) would do well to take a leaf out of their book.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming to Appletree for almost two years. As a child, I had a lot of trouble with my teeth. After having open heart surgery at the age of 3, all the medication left my teeth rotten. This left me with traumatic experiences of visiting the dentist. As an adult, I was petrified of visiting the dentist. I was recommended this practice by my partner’s friend. From the moment I stepped foot in to the practice, I was greeted by the loveliest of receptionists. They’ve become like friends over the months of being at the practice! They’re always so reassuring and positive. They always go above and beyond to make you feel okay. Every dentist and dental nurse that I’ve seen at the practice has been kind, caring and honest. I’ve never felt pressured to do anything I don’t want to do. They always explain everything and don’t judge. The hygienists have also been wonderful. I always leave the dental practice like a new woman when I leave. Honestly, could not recommend this place any more! If you need a dentist, this is the place to go!
