Fantastic experience: Absolutely brilliant service from dental hygienist Iva Roberts at The Dental Hygiene Clinic. She is very professional, friendly and reassuring and did a great job on my teeth. She explained to me very well the state of my gums and teeth and gave me excellent advice on cleaning and prevention. The clinic itself has an inviting and calm atmosphere, receptionists are friendly and it's easy to access. I am glad i found it. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: I’ve just had my second hygienist appointment with Jannie, and I have been so happy with both the appointments and the outcomes. I was previously going to the hygienist at my dentist, but the price seemed really high, so when I realised I could go to any Hygienist I shopped around and found that the Dental Hygiene Clinic prices were much more competitive. Jannie is a pleasure to have an appointment with, and has a really personable yet professional manner. My teeth look great and I would highly recommend Jannie and the Dental Hygiene Clinic.

Fantastic experience: I had a filling with Dr Nikoletta Kafantari and she did a perfect job. My cavity was unusually deep and it needed quite a bit of work and it was technical. She and her assistant performed it all perfectly and I have a lovely, smooth, white filling now which is completely faultless. At the pre-filling assessment, Nikoletta x-rayed and explained the issue clearly. She is very knowledgeable, professional and clearly very experienced. I have no hesitation recommending her at all.

From the moment I walked in, the staff were incredibly welcoming and put me at ease. My dentist, Alex, was exceptional, calm, professional, and thorough. During my check-up, he clearly explained everything and discovered I needed four fillings. Over subsequent visits, Alex completed the fillings with care, always checking on my comfort at every stage. His reassuring approach made all the difference. I highly recommend this practice, especially for nervous or anxious patients like me!

Fantastic experience: Really great experience today. I'm quite nervous when it comes to dentists even when it's just a check up! I made an emergency appointment and both of the ladies I had today were excellent. Put me at ease by talking through what they need to do before doing it and continuously reassuring me. I left feeling really positive and will be booking in for my filling at a later date, once I'm back from a music festival. Thanks everyone! :)

Fantastic experience: I visited the clinic last week to have my appointment with Dr. Nikoletta and nurse Nikki. Both were amazing, super warm and welcoming. The clinic was spotless, and everything felt really professional. Nikoletta was detailed, explained everything clearly, and did really precise work–plus, I didn’t feel a thing! Nikki was just as great—really skilled and attentive. I felt totally at ease and I highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I had to move dentist since my previous one closed so yesterday I had my first appointment at The Dental Hygiene Clinic in Hove. Dr Alex Lass attended me for inspection, x-rays and a clean-up. He was superb - friendly, relaxed but clearly very competent. I have to return for some work so will happily follow this review up in due course. The clinic is 'state of the art'. Reception is neat and tidy with friendly staff. Moving to the serious stuff in the operating area - they even have a tv screen on the ceiling to distract nervous patients like me. The x-ray machine was equally ultra-modern - no separate room, hanging onto a bar while machinery whizzes around. This clinic's x-rays are achieved without even leaving the chair. Everything else seemd similarly high end. In short, I think I've found the perfect dental practice with the perfect dentist.

Fantastic experience: It’s a pleasure to highly recommend this Practice. After a traumatic first treatment for root canal at another practice which resulted in pain and numbness to the whole of the left side of my face for 2 or 3 weeks I was referred to Dr Nikoletta. I was nervous and very apprehensive about continuing the treatment. At the initial consultation with Nikoletta, she explained how treatment could progress, I could immediately tell how experienced she was and I gained enough confidence to continue treatment, which she completed with such care and skill. Absolutely no problems afterwards and I have my tooth back in perfect condition. Thank you Nikoletta and the friendly and professional staff at the Dental Hygiene Clinic.

Negative experience: After reading the reviews I was excited to book an hygienist appointment. I called and gave my card details for a deposit payment of £35 and booked for 4 pm. Unfortunately, I left the address of another dentist practice on safari open - my mistake- which had similar first line and I went there instead. I’m never late for appointments so I had killed 45 mins to an hour before walking in there only to realise I was at the wrong address. after realising I called however the receptionist was particularly unhelpful with a rather rude tone right away and with no sympathy whatsoever. I took a taxi and once I got to the door I received a call from the receptionist lady saying you are too late. I tried to explain I had just got there with no luck and 15 minutes had passed at that point although the receptionist would talk over me and say hygienist waited 30 minutes which was not accurate. I entirely understand the inconvenience there and I was sorry for being late but also really frustrated there was no lieu way to communicating a solution even for a different day/time. We are all human beings and inconvenient things happen to us all additionally going to dentist can be particularly stressful for some of us hence you can imagine how I felt after all my efforts on the day. I was extremely disappointed to meet such an unhelpful tone during what I can describe as a stressful day. Should I have received some understanding and an appropriate tone this review wouldn’t exist. Money is not the issue here necessarily it’s the lack of flexibility, problem solving and the unacceptable tone. I have history of working in customer care and as customer too never had to communicate with someone this uninterested, unsympathetic and rude. It really shocked me. She explained a manager would call me next week and I left it at that. This appointment was missed on the 25th of September. I’ve only just received a call from a manager to tell me nothing can be done admittedly with appropriate tone unlike before on 5th of October but I get that these things happen.. as a customer. I’m extremely disappointed to be writing my first ever negative comment on Google. At this point my wish is that some learning takes place and I’m indeed pleased to have not received care in this clinic where I’d have to continue booking through the reception.

Fantastic experience: Went in for a hygienist, and it was the best clean I have ever had. Very thorough, took their time went over every single teeth until it was perfect. Normally use my local one but they were fully booked, I thought they did a good job at my usual place, but this clean was on another level. Felt like a new person after, would highly recommend and definitely going there from now on.

I brought a relative here who hadn't been to a dentist in over 40 years and she was patient and kind and made the process so easy, I'm so glad we found her. She is evidently also a very skillful dentist. Simply fantastic and can't recommend too highly. All the staff there are lovely and the place is immaculate with a pleasant atmosphere that really helps.

Fantastic experience: I have only recently joined the Dental Hygiene clinic and am so impressed with the service and the attitude of everyone I have met there. Hoosna made me feel relaxed at the the first assessment appointment and eased my anxieties about visiting a dentist. Yesterday I phoned for an emergency appointment as I had broken and lost a veneer. A lovely dentist called Nikoletta came in on her day off to see me today and did a temporary repair which meant I did not have a gaping hole at the front of my mouth. She explained everything to me thoroughly and is coming back to me with a treatment plan All in all everyone I have met have been helpful and extremely pleasant .

She is extremely professional and thorough however what we all feel about her is that she is mindful that some teeth may be sensitive. She then adapts to your individual needs and is gentle yet able to get the job done. Can’t recommend her enough.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Jen the highgenist, I've been seeing her regularly for a few yrs now, all my life I've seen a highgenist to keep my gums and teeth healthy so I know how important it is to find the best highgenist. Jen is a very experienced professional, i've found not all highgenist are the same, and yes you may pay a few pounds more for Jen but it's well worth it in my opinion.
