Positive experience: Had annual check up today. All on time and booked the next one for 6 months. Previously had appointments cancelled but they came through this time.

Negative experience: Hate it, needed an emergency sorted they first tried forcing the X-ray shields into my swollen mouth quite aggressively multiple times, had to beg her to stop once and then she asked me to go to Bedford Hospital as she clearly lacked the patience to do it. Still charged £100+ for god knows what, as they've only irritated the area and not made any progress on fixing my emergency, absolutely part of a scam service, don't use them.

Fantastic experience: Needed an emergency appointment. Called at 8 and was in at 9. Felicity and her dental nurse were amazing. I really felt listened too. I absolutely hate going to the dentist but she was so kind and understanding, I can actually say the appointment was a good experience.

Negative experience: Appointment over 30 minutes late. Actual appointment only 5 minutes, quick check of teeth and £27.40 worse off! Used to get a quick clean but not today.

Positive experience: Always polite and helpful. My family have been using this dentist as NHS patients for many years, and now they've recovered from the COVID and austerity era, we can get our regular checkups again. Despite what the website says, bookings need to be made by phone, although it's worth booking as early as possible because it can be some weeks before you get an appointment. The online forms kept timing out when I completed them for my daughter recently, I wasn't sure if they were submitted correctly, but they made no complaints about it when we arrived for her checkup.

Fantastic experience: A once nervous patient rebooked in reception on leaving - great service! Rather busy on the appointment side, but with enough planning you’ll get a good appointment at a reasonable price too.

Fantastic experience: Theresa was very friendly and I enjoyed listening to the general chit chat between her and the other dental nurse assisting her. It helps to keep your mind off the dental work The carpark is now for staff only so you have to use blackbirds pub, it would be good if the receptionists had the code to hand and website in the dentist, as I didn't have change and couldn't find the code to pay by phone. Luckily another patient had the website and code so provided me with it to save me having to go back to the carpark again.

Positive experience: Felicity Harland, the dentist who saw me, was excellent, very helpful and informative, with a kind and caring manner. However, this was a rearranged appointment as the previous booking for the morning was with a dentist who decided at the last minute to take the day off, regardless of the inconvenience to their patients. Credit to the reception staff also who rearranged at short notice for the same day. Roderick dental have some serious work to do as they are cancelling NHS appointments and making them private.

Fantastic experience: I was very happy with the treatment I received on Wednesday 20th Nov at 10.15 with Felicity Harland. It was on time, I was greeted with smiles and pleasantries and the treatment took exactly the time quoted.

Positive experience: Disappointed that my normal dentist cancelled me two days before (which sadly has happened many times in the past) but at least I managed to see somebody new on the same day - but at an earlier and more inconvenient time.

Negative experience: I arrived for my 2pm appointment with the hygienist. The staff were all on lunch so the door was locked.Around 2pm or soon after the staff began to arrive (my appointment should already be starting at this point) I sat down to wait and be called but unfortunately the 14:20 person was seen before me??? Staff at reception did not seem to be particularly bothered. Having taken time off work for this 20 minute appointment I didn't expect to be there for the hour that I did spend there away from work. Very disappointed!

Fantastic experience: Great dentist very accommodating, we were running but they still managed to see us and for our next appointment hygienist staying late to see us, all receptionists are friendly and helpful, perfect you can park in pub car park right next door

Negative experience: I’ve just registered and got an appointment. But the dentist was rude and unprofessional. All I did was ask questions. And I apologise for nothing. Would not recommend, no wonder why have don’t have enough patience. But receptionist was very nice and helpful.
