Fantastic experience: I booked an emergency appointment for a tooth extraction on Friday and was seen on Monday. Connor and Niamh looked after me so well. Every part of the surgery was explained. Even adrenaline free anaesthetic was provided with follow up information. Excellent and compassionate service.

The reception staff are super friendly, and Matthew my dentist and his assistant Barry are just amazing. Great value for money too, I had my initial appointment on Monday this week, and yesterday had two fillings done, painless and so relaxing. Just brilliant all round.

Negative experience: Went in for a check up. Was shocked when the bill was £118. They added on a hygienist cleaning fee, which takes 30mins according to their price list. I was only sitting in the chair for 10 minutes. This is the opposite of their values of being honest and transparent. Would not recommend.

Fantastic experience: Beechview Dental Care - 451-453 Falls Rd, Belfast, BT12 6DD I recently attended (twice, so far: May and June 2025) Beechview Dental Care. I had, up until these two visits, neglected my dental health. Subsequently mid-May 2025 I, initially, developed pain but followed soon after by a tooth fracturing. I had previously been registered at this practice but due to my re-developing a previuos, really awful, ‘gag reflex’ – not due to dentistry but from unfortunate, traumatic hospital procedure several years procedure in England – I found I could not bear my mouth or my teeth being accessed. I even found this gag reflex made brushing my teeth challenging. So: I morphed into an ‘anxious patient’. I stopped getting dental check-ups. Fast forward to May 2025. Now in pain and minus part of a front tooth missing I knew I had to act. I rang Beechview Dental Care and explained my circumstances, I also knew I had been de-registered from this practice (understandably) since I’d not attended for a few years. So, I chose to pay as a private patient from that point. You can of course get dental treatment plans, if you wish. I specifically asked to see Dental Practitioner, Dr. Tio Grand Siddhiyoh, since my wife had very recently been treated by him, and as my wife was well aware of my now ‘anxious patient’ staus – my awful gagging reflex – she quite firmly said; ‘Ask to see this dentist; he is calm, kind, gentle and compassionate’. And THAT is a perfect description of Dr. Tio Grand Siddhiyoh (known as ‘Grand’). I got my first appointment for seven days later. In summary, Dr. Tio Grand Siddhiyoh proved to be all that my wife had said; over two appointments, now - I have more to come due to my not routinely attending the dentist - he has worked with me, supported me, allowed me to practice my own form of handling my necessary dental treatment (I researched and found several methods to help me move, slowly, forward, in controlling my significant gag reflex) and Grand has done so in a truly caring and compassionate way!! Thank you, Grand, for making such a HUGE DIFFERENCE not just to my dental health and my future approach to my ongoing dental health but also for working with me in improving my psychological well-being in regards to coping with my upcoming dental care. Also, I must praise Senior Dental Nurse Laura Gallagher who was equally truly caring and compassionate and who is, so evidently a very experienced professional. Laura by the way is also just a lovely, lovely lady. Thank you, Senior Nurse Laura Gallagher, for also making such a HUGE DIFFERENCE to my dental health as well as improving my psychological well-being in regards to receiving ongoing dental care! What a team!!! I ABSOLUTELY recommend Beechview Dental Care, Belfast E Every single staff member from reception to Clinicians are, from experience: Caring, Compassionate, Highly Competent, Honest and……. Super Welcoming. And, yes: Fees? Their website is very clear not just on explaining fees but also is, I’ve found, a comprehensive and easy to explore web-site, generally; all answers to all questions. Fees are clear and well set out. My belief? Money invested in your dental health, spent here, is, I truly believe, well spent! Check them out.

Negative experience: I have been a member of these dental services since I was a child when I called in to ask for an appointment I had been told I was taken of their books because I hadn’t been there in while. Because of this I had to pay 145 to get my tooth sorted. Receptionist really rude on the phone, when going in for the appointment when my name got called the receptionist rolled her eyes and laughed. The receptionist is all around rude and unprofessional. Would not recommend if you want to be treated with respect.

Fantastic experience: Personally I would give 10 out of 10 for the receptionist a lady called Sinead. She helped me find exactly who I needed, and she solved my major problem, where six or seven other dental surgeries failed to, and they where in various places in Belfast.

Fantastic experience: The staff were warm and friendly. The Dentist Sarah explained everything she was going to do so that I understood it. The premises were clean and tidy.

Fantastic experience: Had an accident in work and broke my front tooth and due to the excellent work and service at beech view dental care I was able to have my tooth fixed and looking identical to before the accident within a few hours. I couldn’t praise the staff any higher from the expertise of Sarah and Laura who worked on my tooth to the warm welcome of every other staff member I came across. 10/10 and is definitely the best dentist in the country!

Fantastic experience: Went recently with my son and daughter. My daughter is extremely anxious about the dentist and my son has autism. Matthew the dentist was absolutely amazing with them, kept them calm , explained everything in detail to them what he was going to do. This is the first time my son has let a dentist check his teeth. Barry the dental nurse was great with them too giving them stickers and talking away to them to keep them calm. My kids are no longer afraid to go to the dentist and had a wonderful experience thanks to Matthew and Barry. 10/10 service. Highly recommend

Negative experience: After being a patient with this practice for about 40 years imagine my disappointment when I rang for an appointment only to be told I’d been taken of their books as ‘you haven’t been here in a while’, couldn’t get a routine appointment during Covid and when I tried in April 2022 to get one I was told ‘someone will be in touch’ no one ever did contact me regarding an appointment and as I have a real fear of dentists in general I suffered on regardless. I was told the books were closed for nhs patients and wouldn’t be opening again but I could pay £20 and register as a private patient, to use the pandemic and Covid as an excuse to get rid of nhs patients is disgusting especially as they weren’t seeing patients for routine appointments during the lockdowns

Fantastic experience: I am always anxious going to the dentist and I find that everyone at the practice puts me at ease. Being greeted by your first name by the receptions, instantly puts me at ease. Lesley the dentist always remembers personal things about me and again put me at ease.

Negative experience: Friendly staff that makes you welcome and at ease at all times. All covit19 procedures in place eg taking your tempature' hand sanitising asking the usual questions before letting you in. Didn't wait long to be seen and staff will always try and accommodate you regarding appointment. Reading the first half of this review is fine but now January 2023 waiting times r horrendous just got a date for March to look at a broken tooth, phoned back looking something earlier but no chance unless u have had an accident, face swollen, trauma excuse Covid after 40 years with this practice I was told no chance other patients waiting. I want my tooth fixed before it breaks away.

I was nervous as I had gone through close to a year of treatment with no improvement elsewhere but she talked me through my options and my tooth now feels stronger than ever. Her and Ryan were so lovely and the practice has a very friendly atmosphere.

Negative experience: Paid £138.90 for consultation was told I would get a 3 stage plan when the plan was given I said I wanted a bridge as the implants was to expensive they said they wouldn't do a bridge to get my own dentist to do it after telling me at my first appointment that I didn't have that much bone loss now I wanted a bridge instead of implants they where worried about bone loss what a joke don't wast your hard earned money.you would be better of going to Turkey

Fantastic experience: This is my second set of treatments - tooth implant type... Result of first sessions (2015) is so excellent that without hesitation I have opted for a second implant at Beechview, knowing that long term, it's the only way. Having now (2021) had the second implant, I am equally happy. Every aspect of Beechview Dental Care impressed me. From the moment of installation, each tooth felt as if it had been there all my life. I have now begun a third treatment - another replacement tooth.

Fantastic experience: I cannot say enough about Beechview Dental Care and their amazing, caring staff who go above and beyond for their patients!!! Our young son has a serious medical condition which causes extremely painful mouth ulcers. After months of watching my child in pain and various health professionals doing very little to help him, I was at my wits end and therefore contacted Sinead at Beechview to ask for their help and advice. Not only was Sinead so understanding and so lovely to me, as I was in quite an emotional state, she completely went out of her way to help my son which I will be eternally grateful for! She spoke immediately with Nuala, a dentist in the practice, and told her of the severity of the situation, and from that they were able to send an urgent referral to dentistry in the hospital who got my son in for an urgent appointment. This meant the world to us and has already made a massive difference to my son's care! His pain has been reduced and his smile is coming back! I am literally blown away and will be forever thankful for the high level of service and professionalism we received from all of the team at Beechview Dental Care, and I can't thank Sinead and Nuala enough for their kindness, help and support at a time when we felt completely alone and helpless, you have helped our little family in more ways than you will ever know, thank you xxx
