Fantastic experience: Having my regular appointment with the hygienist, my Regular, Hygienist was not available. I had an appointment with Kelly. I cannot recommend her enough. She was very gentle very Thorough, she’s a real asset for Gentle Dental Care

Fantastic experience: I am very anxious when i need to see the dentist, they were very reassuring and i had two extractions, they are extremely caring and gentle.

Positive experience: I booked and paid for a 30-minute hygienist appointment but was seen for less than 20 minutes. Of that time, 5 minutes was spent on generic flossing advice and warnings about gum recession and tooth loss - all delivered before my teeth were even examined to assess whether I actually had these issues. This felt unnecessarily alarming since it wasn't based on an actual examination of my mouth. For what was essentially 15 minutes of actual dental service, I was charged the full £85. Given that their 15-minute appointment costs £42.50, I question why I wasn't refunded the difference when I received significantly less than the paid-for service time.

Fantastic experience: Currently under the care of Dr Simon at the croydon surgery, im usually quite anxious to go to my appointments due to past bad history with my last dentist. However dr Simon has made me feel comfortable to be able to come in and have treatments without the anxiety, he is very thorough with care taken. He listens to any questions or queries I have and does his upmost to try and answer and give a solution. I'd definetly recommend gentle dental if you need a dentist!

My 10 year old daughter had a bad experience at her last dentist, we decided to change to gentle dental and I’m so glad we did ☺️ Nadimi-Sharaki Is absolutely amazing, she has done a wonderful job with my daughter, very patient and explains every step clearly and answers every question me and my daughter ask in detail which is great for my daughter who was very nervous at the start of our visits, My daughter had quite abit of work to be done I’ve the last couple of months, and today was her last appointment until her next check, but what made me laugh was that my daughter was actually sad that there won’t be anymore appointments for a while Thank you very much for making a very nervous little girl get back her smile!

Both me and my daughter were seen here and honestly, I can’t speak highly enough of the team. Dr. S Cepulis (my dentist) and Dr. S Nadimi-Sharaki (my daughter’s dentist) were incredibly professional, kind, and truly went the extra mile to make us feel comfortable. My daughter has additional needs, and the level of understanding and care she received was exceptional. They created a calm, welcoming environment—putting on cartoons to help her stay distracted and allowing everything to happen at her pace. The reception team is also fantastic—so friendly, helpful, and always ready to answer any questions. The clinic itself is spotless, beautifully designed, and makes you feel at ease the moment you walk in. I’m so grateful to have found this dental practice—it’s without a doubt the best I’ve ever had. Thank you to the whole team for being so professional, understanding, and caring. You truly deserve the recognition!

Negative experience: The audacity to scam your customers Waited six months for appointment then to be told they need to charge you an arm and a leg Running wild because nobody to answer AVOID AVOID AVOID Beware of this practice!!!!

Fantastic experience: Ruxandra Popp- all my children see her specifically every 6 months very caring and knowledgeable and knows about what’s good for your teeth. Clean practice and friendly reception.

Negative experience: I made a appointment for the removal of my daughter’s baby tooth and I briefly explained this to them but for the first two appointments it was only for a check up and cleaning then on our third appointment they booked it for the confirmation of removing the baby tooth and on the first appointment we did look for a dentist however it was looked at by physiotherapist (first time I heard about this from dentist)and they didn’t mention this to us at all. In these three appointments within three months we are still having to wait to sort it out, but my daughter had experienced this two years ago and we went to the Purley dentist and they removed it on that day within 15 minutes but it is quite far from my home.

Fantastic experience: My daughter and I switched to Gentle Dental after being dissatisfied with our previous dentist. My daughter's appointment came first and we were very happy with the care received. Then I had my appointment, I was seen for an hour and cannot express just how thorough they were with the check up. I saw Simon and he identified things my previous dentist had clearly overlooked. I am an NHS dentist and do not pay. Several weeks later and my teeth have significantly improved. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: We changed to Gentle Dental after becoming dissatisfied with the practice we were registered with. My husband, daughter, and I have all been seen by Dentist Raheel who’s been fantastic. In particular to my daughter who suffered for months with pain: the problem has been found and delt with in a professional and caring way. It’s so refreshing to find someone who wants to be helpful and cares for his patients. The reception staff are also the same, kind and helpful. I wish we’d have found them sooner.

Fantastic experience: Just been for my 6 month check up. All fine. Seen as usual by Mrs Siddiqui who is lovely and very friendly. Explains anything she is doing. Very clean surgery and practice. The nurses and receptionists are also friendly and helpful. Takes the pain out of visiting the dentist.

Fantastic experience: Going to the dentist is always a daunting experience, but from the outset, the team at Gentle Dental make you feel very welcome. The appointments are always on time and my dental team (Dr Raina & Alex) are amazing. They have this ability to put you at ease during the procedure and the mellow music that plays in the background is a particularly nice touch too.

Fantastic experience: Had always been fearful/apprehensive of dentists. I really don’t like other people’s hands in my mouth. I was suffering agonising pin from a cracked molar impinging on my nerves, and booked Gentle Dental. I was looked after by Amit and Kaiya (dentist and dental assistant) - Kaiya was so reassuring and professional, I felt at ease before I got into the chair. Once in the seat my nerves and anxiety were apparent, but Amit and Kaiya patiently talked my fears away and explained each process well in advance. They even told me which procedures would be painful, and how to resist moving and making the pain worse. They were amazing and professional throughout and made sure I was comfortable as I could be, using hand signals to ask for pauses/breaks. I will definitely return every 6months after 20+ years dentist-less. If you do use Gentle Dental in the future and want great service - ask for Kaiya and Amit - and get a guaranteed smile!

Fantastic experience: Was seen by Dr Simon today he is brilliant,talk me through the process before and after the procedure, very gently makes you comfortable had an extraction done, he make sure you’re okay and happy before leaving the practice, I was at the same practice with Dr Persaud for 20 years and he was brilliant so is Dr Simon.

Fantastic experience: After looking at and reviewing online local dentist practices I came across Gentle Gentle Care. I completed the registration forms on behalf of my children online - this was really easy and user friendly. After this I wanted to ask some further questions so rang the practice, easy to get through. The lovely lady on the phone kindly answered my questions and was very informative and let me know all the steps of registering etc. I shared with the lady on phone (I wish I got her name) that I was quite frightened of the dentist myself and she was so reassuring ! On the day of appointments for my children to have general check up, their first visits to dentist! The practice was really clean and tidy and all staff friendly and welcoming. The ladies at the desk offered me a hot drink. Our appointment was with Dr Simon and Nurse Sonia. I spoke to Nurse Sonia before the children entered the treatment room to let her know I had not taken children to dentist as I was very very nervous - again really kind and reassuring :). Both children were completely at ease and comfortable thanks to the professionalism and kindness of both Dr and Nurse. Dr Simon spoke gently to the kids asking them questions about their eating and teeth hygiene, throughout his treatment he talked through what he was doing and checking and why throughout. We all left feeling really happy and pleased this is where we would be coming for all dental needs. A really great team who are all friendly and approachable ! Thank you!
