Fantastic experience: I visited Dr Ahmed Alshafi on 09.10.25 with a painful, sensitive tooth. I found him to be very professional, extremely thorough, very gentle and patient. Dr Alshafi advised me of all the treatment options available of which I have chosen one and am proceeding with that choice. The atmosphere in the practice is very relaxed and calming and the receptionists and dental nurse were lovely - very polite and helpful. I Highly recommend this practice.

Fantastic experience: I've been a patient at this practice for over 28 years when it was owned by Dr Robert Broadley. At the time the staff were warm, professional, and genuinely attentive. Dr Ahmed Alshafi took over 8 years ago, and he invested a lot of time and money to revamp the dental practice. The transformation has been nothing short of impressive. The new team has brought fresh energy, professionalism, and a genuine commitment to patient care. The space feels more welcoming, the technology is clearly upgraded, and the overall experience is reassuring. Dr Ahmed Alshafi is thorough, kind, and clearly passionate about his work. He takes the time to explain every step of the procedure and answer all questions with patience. I've had many treatments over the years: fillings, crowns, scale and polish, and sadly a couple of extractions. Highly recommended for anyone who values both expertise and kindness.

We looked around and saw Woodlands Dental Practice had excellent reviews online and by word of mouth. Having both had check ups, visited the hygienist and had a filling we are delighted with our decision to move here. Everyone is very professional and the receptionists a delight. A great practice. We have recently been back 9/2025 for crowns with our chosen dentist Dr Maryam Alkutubi - she is so caring, her treatment really expert and no pain whatsoever. Natalie, the senior receptionist always gives us a very warm welcome.

She did a fantastic job cleaning my teeth — they feel so fresh and look great. Fantastic experience: I got my daughter here to get her broken tooth fixed. She’s petrified of dentists. But Dr. Naj and Dr. Tanisha put her at ease. Even when my daughter got nervous or uncomfortable, they were patient, kind, accommodating, and thoroughly skilled. They did not propose any overly complicated procedures, and did the least invasive thing that would fix my daughter’s tooth. My daughter was so comfortable, that when I had my own appointment later in the week, she wanted to come along just to say hi. And oh, the doctors were complete angels for listening to kpop demon hunters on loop for a couple of hours. Besides that, the clinic is quite fancy and they have a lot of tech and scans that can really show you the current state of your teeth. It is all pretty impressive.

Fantastic experience: Excellent consultation, really well explained in layman's terms. My condition assessed as not suitable for implants at present nor before further investigation. No pressure to use their practice, in fact a full referral back to NHS was done. After that, I will definitely return for implants etc, should my other issues be resolved.

Fantastic experience: I was not registered with Woodlands but had an emergency caused by biting on a plum stone. They gave me an appointment on the day I called and Dr Dr Najib Noordin spend 11/2 hours saving my tooth. The whole team was friendly, particularly the receptionist, who even phoned me next day to ask how I was.As a result I enrolled myself and my wife as patients.

Fantastic experience: Reluctance to have implants fitted was overcome during my initial consultation with Dr. Ahmed. During the various stages he was precise and explained every step. The end result for the upper and lower implants has far exceeded my expections, would highly recommend Woodlands Dental and Implant Centre. My thanks to all of the staff I have interacted with.

Fantastic experience: I visited the excellent Woodlands Dental and Implant Centre to resolve an issue with a badly cracked molar. It transpired I needed the skills of an oral surgeon to extract the tooth because of potential nerve damage. Following a couple of scans, the proceedure was successfuly carried out in an extremely calm, stress free environment and was totally painless. This is a very friendly and efficient dental practice and I highly recommend their sevices.

Fantastic experience: I had a consultation with Dr Ahmed Alshafi after a going back and forth to various dentists regarding a possible root canal / tooth extraction. He was so helpful explaining all my options and I booked for the extraction. For some reason I was quite nervous, but I can honestly say he was amazing, along with all of his team. He explained everything, made me feel very comfortable and I didn’t even know the tooth had been taken out until he said it was all done. He had all the time in the world and was so kind. Fantastic experience: Thank you to Dr Maryam Alkutubi for an incredible experience with Invisalign. I had regular appointments every 4 weeks to check on my progress and adapt the plan if needed. Overall, I have had a great experience and it has resolved the issues I was having with my teeth rubbing and wearing away due to how they sat preventing future damage. Not only this, but my teeth are no longer compressed and overlapping, they now look normal with no more overcrowding.

Their booking/reminder system in its current version is not entirely effective but the practice manager listened to my feedback and promised to take issue with the software supplier who was trusted blindly to deliver something that was not defined in detail. . During my time with the practice I have had all manner of procedures, including regular checkups, fillings, crowns, root canals and hygienist appointments. At each of my visits I am greeted by the friendly reception team and then seen by Dr Ahmed Alshafi. Ahmed is a very friendly, professional and extremely competent dental practitioner. In recent times, Ahmed and the team have invested hugely in both the premises to provide a modern, relaxing environment, and in the associated dental technology. Fantastic experience: Been coming to Woodlands practice for 4 years now and have always found everybody from the receptionists, Dental Nurses, Hygienists and Dentists that i have had appointments with very friendly, professional and caring. Recently had some crown work with Dr Noordin and Dr Alshafi, both were excellent and very pleased with their work. Just started some Root Canal Treatment with Dr Patel, who was again very good and also took the time to explain what was happening whilst also being as gentle as could be. I would have no hesitation in recommending this practice if you need a Dentist/Hygienist. Fantastic experience: Friendly team from receptionist to the dental and hygienist team in a relaxing modern environment. Dr Alshafi is friendly and will make your trip to the dentist a stress free one. My son was not looking forward to his first filling, but he was made to feel comfortable and the experience certainly hasn’t put him off returning to the dentist.

Negative experience: I became a customer and patient at woodland in the spring of 2024. It’s disappointing as they were very highly recommended by one of my customers who couldn’t speak highly enough about them. I went in because I had a tooth which required to be removed, of which months later I still have it in my mouth and I now trust dentists even less than I did. The guy I saw was impatient and rough, left me in pain for days having to constantly use painkillers when his work failed over and over with no follow ups, when I complained to reception that the crown he recommended, failed 3 times, I was told I couldn’t have work done by another practitioner at the centre because it should be completed by the same person. One instance when he over dowsed me with gas and air and made a joke about me being a big guy, he thought I could handle it….as I literally felt Claustrophobic and felt like my heart was going to explode , left me feeling confused, feeling sick and thinking about it to this day as a very bad experience, that I hope i don’t ever repeat. I found them them impatient, they rushed the appointments, caused me a lot of pain, I’ve been left with a failed crown, which is highly sensitive and now I struggle to chew on anymore, a constant bleeding gum where one of the fillings has effected my gum, the tooth I wanted removed is still in my mouth and I simply didn’t turn up to have it removed as I dreaded the thought of them hurting me again. The centre is exceptionally good at making sure they get paid ahead of schedule but the lady in reception is very nice about it all. I’ve spent and wasted thousands pounds with this company to be in a worse situation as to when I went there. Not the service I expected at all.

Fantastic experience: Saved my teeth and gave me back my smile. I had a gap appearing between my two front teeth. I went to see Dr Maryam on recommendation from my close friends husband. I had advanced gum disease. I was immediately referred to Dr Pritesh and was seen by him on the same day. Dr Pritesh worked miracles on my gum disease (not pleasant or cheap but 100% worth it!) I then commenced the Invisalign process with Dr Maryam. Again not cheap but the results are fabulous - I can smile again. Dr Pritesh, Dr Maryam and all of the team are always so friendly and professional. A big thank you to them all.

Fantastic experience: I went to this dentist in February this year, just to inquire about a implant. 7 months later I have come out with a implant, 8 crowns, a couple of professional fillings and my teeth straighten. (might of taken a few hours , but well worth it) I cannot recommend a better dentist practice, ALL the staff are so professional, friendly and helpful. Fantastic experience: Cannot recommend Woodlands Dental enough! I went to see Dr Ahmed after having an awful experience elsewhere leaving me with a fractured implant and in a real pickle! Dr Ahmed spent so much time explaining the situation and what the next steps were. He answered all my questions and put me at ease instantly. I am a really nervous patient who has a phobia of the dentist so even sitting in the waiting room causes me a lot of anxiety. From the first interaction with Dr Ahmed I had full trust in him to do what he needed. The whole Woodlands Team are great and I felt so taken care of. The reception team are so kind and reassuring and made me feel instantly at ease when I arrived. Dr Ahmed removed my implant (which is a complicated procedure to undergo) under sedation and I have nothing but positive praise and gratitude to the team for making the experience as calm and stressfree as they could. Thank you so much Woodlands Dental, I will not go anywhere else as I know that I will be taken care of here!

I’ve had several treatments including Enlighten Teeth Whitening, Composite Teeth bonding and an appointment with the Hygenist over the last few months and am thrilled with the results! Dr Maryam has been brilliant all the way since my initial appointment and is super enthusiastic, informative, diligent and takes pride in her work which translates into exceptional results! Dental Nurse AJ has also been awesome and the Hygienist that treated me.

Fantastic experience: I think this has to be the nicest dentist I have ever been to. The receptionist is lovely and Dr Ahmed Alshafi was equally as pleasant. So professional but really down to earth with it. The receptionist was really good at getting back to me regarding treatments etc. Dr Alshafi removed some stitches for me that were very sore, but I did not feel a thing and Dr Alshafi was very professional and made me feel at ease and was communicating with me at all times as to what needed to be done and what he was doing. Very pleasant practice, it doesn't just look good, the people make it so. Not your usual dental practice.

Fantastic experience: Great Dental Practice – Dr Ahmed and the whole team at Woodlands Dental are both professional and friendly. The surgery is modern and very well equipped with ‘state of the art’ technology. Since enrolling at the practice about a year ago, I have had two crowns fitted, which have both been very successful and fit perfectly. Whilst providing an excellent and very skilled service, Dr Ahmed also has a great sense of humour, which always makes you feel welcome and ‘at ease’.

I also started Invisalign treatment. Cannot wait for final results. Fantastic experience: If, like me, you're not thrilled at the prospect of root canal treatment.... fear not! Dr Kiren Patel and Mourvi were amazing. They created a relaxing, calm and professional atmosphere that inspires confidence. My appointment was 2 hours long and I felt at ease throughout it. So much so that I almost fell asleep a couple of times. Everything was explained as the procedure progressed and a follow up email was later received. This explained that there may be some post procedure discomfort. The discomfort has virtually gone - after 24 hours. Fantastic experience: Dr Jasmeet is an amazing dentist. Very proficient in handling kids. Its been almost a year now for us and my daughter is very happy with the treatment she has received from her. I remember that when we went for the first time, my daughter was very apprehensive, but Jasmeet was very friendly and made my daughter comfortable enough to start any treatment. Now my daughter is happy before and after every visit. I must also say that Jasmeet also guided us to visit orthodontist to get the necessary treatment. She also helped in getting my daughter on the NHS roll in case we need any emergency treatments. Overall a very nice experience, highly recommend her.
