From the moment you walk in, the venue itself is beautiful and the front-of-house staff and receptionists go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. They’re kind, friendly, and professional in every way. I’m currently beginning my Invisalign journey here. So far, I’ve had two teeth removed, along with a thorough clean and polish, leaving my smile already feeling fresher and brighter. The real highlight for me has been Dr. Shah. From day one, he has been absolutely fantastic – approachable, reassuring, professional, and incredibly skilled at what he does. Fantastic experience: I was terribly nervous of dentists since all my previous experiences were dreadful and I always got hurt. My daughter recommended the Braintree Dental Studio and as I was in pain following a bodge job by another dentists practice along I went. I explained how very nervous I was and I was assigned to Dr Anthony. The upshot is that after a couple of visits I lost all of my anxiety. I had to go this morning as I’d chipped a couple of teeth. Again my experience was actually pleasurable. The reception staff were as always kind & courteous and in good humour. The nurse who saw me through was equally kind, courteous, great humour. Dr Anthony had as always a very warm welcome and calming demeanour. Both raised their voices as I didn’t have my hearing aids in. In my experience I’ve never had any unnecessary work suggested or carried out. I never now worry about going to my dentist. If I had to make any negative comments they would be - I can only give 5 stars, I’d like you to move nearer to where I live, a bacon buttie would be beneficial to make sure any work done worked properly. Seriously though, 10/10 all the way for me. Thank you everyone for being a great team

Negative experience: Claim they are "SKILLED COSMETIC DENTISTS" - That's from their website. I called them, explaining I wanted to move to them for an implant, and I was at the beginning stages, as all I had done was an extraction. They were happy to speak to me on the phone, so much so that the specialist in implants said the word "amazing" about 200 times. I was told they have lots of plans and that treatment started from £1700. 3 hours later they called back claiming I should go back to the first person I saw in Chelmsford. They then claimed they are not specialists in Implants. Shocking!

Fantastic experience: Well the student hygienist today, were knowledgeable, explained everything they were doing before they started each stage of my treatment, empathetic with my Chronic back pain and adjusted the treatment bed and checked I as OK frequently during my visit . I wish both ( Emily & Charlotte) of them a successful and fulfilling career. Thank you

Fantastic experience: For the last three years I’ve had all my dental care through Braintree dental, starting with my orthodontics through Dr Ladva. It’s the best service from a dental practice I have ever received. The team were amazing every step of the way, and getting my teeth straightened also fixed my lock jaw. Everybody working at the surgery is so professional, from reception, to ortho, to hygienists, to dental nurses. I would highly recommend this practice to take care of your teeth.

Fantastic experience: Having had terrible experiences with a dentist when I was a child (I'm now 66) I used to miss appointments on purpose! Through adulthood treatments became more advanced and bearable! Then I became a patient of Dr Shah at Braintree Dental Studio and he certainly puts me at ease, explains everything clearly and above all he is so friendly and trustworthy. All the staff here are very pleasant and courteous.

Fantastic experience: I took my 23year old son today for an emergency appointment. He had been in terrible pain and upon assessment he needed a tooth extracted. He has a condition called Asperger Syndrome along with a few other health issues so for him it was a major ordeal. I would personally like to commend Dr Viraj Makwana and Nurse Jescierry for their care, patience and thoughtfulness really going above and beyond for his wellbeing and comfort. Thank you so much and I know he will be happy to see you both again.

Fantastic experience: I came in for an emergency appointment Which in turn turned into an extraction. Even though I was extremely nervous Dr Viraj and Dr Shah were sympathetic and helped calm my nerves even though it was a difficult extraction. Fantastic experience: I have been to see Dr Viraj Makwana at Braintree Dental Studio twice now, once for a check-up and most recently to have a broken tooth extracted. I have been slightly dental phobic in the past due to a bad experience elsewhere, but on both occasions he made me feel completely at ease and talked through what he was doing. I had no anxiety at all during the extraction as my Garmin watch and App later confirmed. His extremely skilled and confident approach made the whole experience so easy and memorable for all the right reasons. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him as one of the best there is at his job. Thank you Dr Viraj and your dental nurse for your excellent service. It is truly appreciated.

Negative experience: I’m feeling quite let down after my consultation today. I had been eagerly anticipating my appointment ever since I spoke with a very courteous individual on the phone. However, when I arrived, the whole experience lasted just five minutes. It was far from a comprehensive professional consultation. I shared my concerns and desires regarding my teeth, after looking over my teeth I was told I would receive an entirely different treatment which I definitely did not ask. It left me feeling uncomfortable, as though I didn’t know what I wanted. To top it off, I was referred elsewhere, which made me feel even more disheartened, especially since several of my clients had recommended this place. It felt as if I had done something wrong, and they were frustrated with me I’m honestly absolutely gutted.

Fantastic experience: Excellent visit to the dentist with care and attention to detail with some corrective and cosmetic procedures carried out. Absolutely no rush and great information throughout from the dental nurse who was outstanding keeping me comfortable and breathing easily. Great visit.

Fantastic experience: Kunal and his team were absolutely great throughout my whole Invisalign process. They ensured I understood exactly how each appointment would go and the importance of each step. Kunal went above and beyond to transform my smile. I have never felt so confident or happy with my teeth and I have had braces before! The entire dentist on the whole is so friendly and educating - they have lots of info displayed in the waiting area which is really engaging. Waiting times for your appointment is always extremely efficient too. I live over an hour away but will most definitely be returning for my regular check ups, cannot recommend Braintree Dental Studio or Kunal for my Invisalign treatment enough!

Fantastic experience: I don’t think anyone enjoys going to the dentist but I had a lot of treatment here 2yrs ago and some more today. I can honestly say I didn’t even feel the injection. The treatment was exceptional. Such a great place that feels really premium, great service isn’t cheap, but I really wouldn’t go anywhere else

Fantastic experience: Dr Kunal Shah is the most gentle dentist I ever have. No pain or discomfort at all the whole time when my crown and root were extracted.

Negative experience: Not impressed, I’ve used this dentist for years and have been happy, but I broke a tooth and had to wait nearly two weeks to get to see someone, I told them I needed a filling and even told them what tooth it was so they would be prepared. I arrived on time for my appointment, but waited over 15 minutes with no apology. I’d already paid my £63 I sat in the chair to be told you needed a filling (really ?) I was in there for 5 minutes. I was told they couldn’t do it today because they didn’t have time (15 minutes late in seeing me) £12:60 a minute to tell me that. I won’t be using them again !!!

Fantastic experience: One of the best dentists I've ever been to. I used to be very scared of the dentist but Mr Shah puts me at ease and makes me feel so much more comfortable than I ever thought I would feel. I also had composite veneers put in last year with Anup and the service was fantastic, well worth the cost

Most importantly I feel valued as a patient. He goes above and beyond what you might ordinarily and reasonably expect from a dentist. For example, he took it upon himself to contact my implant specialist, who is located abroad, in order to get the correct technical information and tools to provide my implant after-care locally and therefore to avoid the inconvenience and expense of me travelling there each and every time it is needed. Tightening up for example. Thank you very much to you Dr Shah and to your dental nurse Charlotte and the rest of the team at the Braintree Dental Studio!

Fantastic experience: Based on reviews and recommendation I chose this dental practise. What a great decision and experience!! Hats off to the whole team for making this painless as possible. I called up for an emergency appointment, for severe wisdom tooth pain. I was surprised, how quick they squeezed me in. Went in feeling extremly anxious, as most people do. As soon as I sat down, Dr Ladva and his assistant made me feel comfortable and asured me everything will be fine. After a quick look, they kindly explained the best way to remove. They decided a surgical extraction would be best. Everything went better than I hoped, with virtually no pain and minimum discomfort. Thanks again to you all for making this by far the best Dental experience of my life. The surgery is all new, clean and lovley with all the latest equipment. Keep up the great work!!!

Fantastic experience: The whole experience has been great. Kept fully informed of the next stages throughout and no time wasted. The monitoring app is fantastic but the treatment is underpinned by the wonderful staff. Dr Ladva is a master at work and all the staff are very knowledgeable and very attentive. Those looking to undertake this process may think it seems expensive, but it is in fact very good value for money. No part of this process is painful if anyone is worried about that aspect and I would certainly recommend the unlimited package as I needed another 16 trays which would have cost a great deal more on the lower package. Overall great treatment.

Fantastic experience: Can't rate this place highly enough! Had been searching for a practice taking on NHS patients for years and finally found this place a few months ago. We really have fallen on our feet! Myself, husband and two year old had our first appointments here today and all I can say is absolutely 1st class service. From the amazing reception team, to the amazing dentists. Myself and Husband are booked in for work needing doing within the next month (non emergency). So grateful for these guys!

Fantastic experience: I've never had fillers before and after going to a few different consultations I was really glad to find Pat. He explained everything, answered all my questions even ones I didn't think to ask, and reassured me so I wasn't nervous at all! I also appreciated the less is more approach as it was my first time having work done. The process took around 30 min after a thorough consultation and Pat even checked in the days following. I would highly recommend braintree to anyone considering this treatment, 5 stars for professionalism and first class service!

Fantastic experience: I had lots of chips and cracks in my teeth and Dr Ladva made them look perfect again. He took the time to see what I wanted & needed and the best course of action for my budget. Negative experience: To be quite honest I would not even give this dental practice 1 star, awful customer care. Been here once before this experience and only went this time as needed to see a dentist quick. Certain young receptionists are quite incompetent there. This dental surgery is only interested in one thing and thats the money ! Not only does it take ages to get an appointment once you’ve had a check up they won’t let you make an appointment until you’ve paid half the money upfront. I had a tooth infection and was in pain so the dentist put me on antibiotics for a week. The day before the course had finished I phoned them to say they hadn’t worked could I have a few more days or a different brand. They told me unfortunately the dentist was on annual leave. They said they would phone me back but they never did so I went into the practice. I was told they could not give me a few more days antibiotics or different brand, I was told I would have to pay again for another dentist. Absolutely awful

Negative experience: I was there for a checkup and a cleaning quite recently. The cleaning was not good at all, which is why I had to have it done again by my usual dentist today, that confirmed tartar had not been removed properly, as i suspected. Re the checkup we concluded with the agreement they will give me a referral to have a further check done to my mouth structure; referral never received. I had booked a second appointment to fix a little issue with a tooth. I cancelled the appointment

Fantastic experience: Just had a badly infected wisdom tooth extracted by Dr Shah which I was dreading as I have a huge fear of the dentist. All I can say is it was so easy! Zero pain and the tooth was out before I had time to even think about it. I can’t recommend this surgery enough, everyone was so lovely, I’m so grateful!

Fantastic experience: After phoning round numerous dentists & not getting any help, it was so refreshing to speak to Rowena on reception, who was extremely helpful & very empathetic. It led to me getting an emergency appt & getting my agonising broken tooth sorted. The dentist I saw was very reassuring & knowledgeable, as was his assistant. A good dentists is hard to find, this is a little gem! Registered my children aswell I have that much faith in them!

Fantastic experience: The dentist was very reassuring to my daughter who was nervous about having fillings. My daughter felt very comfortable during the treatment. The communication between the dentist and the dental nurse was also very good. Thank you very much.

Fantastic experience: In the last few years I've had extensive dental work done including fillings, extractions and implants and I'm delighted with the results. I've had implants to replace molars in the bottom left and they give me a solid base to chew my food with confidence. Kunal Shah is an excellent dentist and is very gentle and takes care to explain what's happening throughout the visit. All of the staff at Braintree Dental are caring and friendly and I'm happy to recommend them.

Fantastic experience: I refer to the post, dated 7th of October, which was published here of Braintree dental studio and later on removed in which disparaging remarks were made about that undertaking inexperienced staff/cancelling appointments at short notice without just cause. The comments were unfounded and were posted without knowledge of all facts. I know now that the statement published was misleading. I intend to apologise to the practise unreservedly for any damaged caused.

Fantastic experience: I regularly see Dr Webb for my hygiene appointments and cannot be happier! She is very gentle and my teeth feel amazing afterwards ❤️ My regular dentist is Dr Shah and he is also brilliant. He always listens to any concerns that I have and is very patient. A fantastic practice with lovely staff!

Fantastic experience: This is my first visit as a new patient, the staff are friendly and polite, the reception area is modern and clean with plenty of reading material and also visual( tv) information. I was seen on time and the dentist after giving my teeth a thorough examination, explained what the options were. I have a follow up appointment to complete the treatment in two days. Excellent experience.
