Fantastic experience: Having lost a crown on holiday I was offered an appointment for the morning after I returned. I was seen promptly and received the usual friendly welcome and totally professional assessment and treatment that I have become accustomed to at the Overton Dental practice over the last five years. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Fantastic experience: No one likes going to the dentist but this is as good as it gets. Pleasant environment, lovely people and no pain (except financial! But use their Denplan to help with that). I have been using Overton Dental practice for 4 years as have my wife and adult children, all with no issues. More than that, my Mum and Dad have been using them for 25 years and always had a good experience. Thanks to the team there (especially Shervin) for all your support!

Negative experience: I strongly advise avoiding Overton Dental Practice for Invisalign treatment. I had my 3D scan and treatment plan created here on 19 September 2025, but when I tried to proceed with treatment on 30 September 2025, the payment process was completely unreasonable. The practice: Insisted on a large bank transfer, which gives me no financial protection. Refused to accept normal card payments unless I drove an hour out of my way to make a manual transaction in person. Rejected my suggestion to split the cost into three smaller card payments (to meet their own machine’s limit), dismissing this as “fraud.” Refused escalation when I asked to speak to the practice manager, telling me he was “too busy.” As a woman recovering from breast cancer, I found this lack of flexibility, consideration, and professionalism extremely stressful. Worse still, other Invisalign providers have told me they cannot accept the plan created at Overton, meaning patients are effectively trapped into either staying with this practice or paying all over again to start from scratch. I have now escalated this to both Invisalign UK and the Dental Complaints Service (DCS), as I believe this practice fails to meet basic standards of patient care and financial security. Overton Dental Practice may be listed as a “preferred Invisalign provider,” but my experience has been anything but professional. Patients deserve safe, secure, and supportive treatment — sadly, this practice has not provided that.

Negative experience: I would not recommend this practice, I have had nothing but problems and have still been left with teeth which are not aligned. I have sought advice from other dentists who have adviced me to seek a refund because my teeth are not upto the standard they would expect for the treatment I have paid for. The customer service I have reviewed since requesting further treatment or a partial refund has been terrible, the only option is for me to spend more money to fix the problems.

Fantastic experience: I’m absolutely thrilled with my teeth after completing Invisalign treatment. I didn’t need significant straightening, but I’m over the moon with the final results. Dr. Shervin was professional and made me feel completely at ease throughout the process. After Invisalign, I opted for a small amount of composite bonding, which I was initially nervous about, but Dr. Shervin put me at ease, and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome. I highly recommend Overton Dental Surgery! They weren’t my regular dentist at first, but I decided to try them because they had an offer at the time.
