Fantastic experience: Yesterday my son had an appointment. His case is quite complex and Dr Paroo Mistry was amazing. I am very happy with the appointment.

Fantastic experience: I took my mother for her annual check up with the Dentist (Ray Woke) and hygienist (Elena). My mother is elderly, deaf in one ear, and suffers from diabetes. She was also nervous about seeing her dentist (as we all are!). I was absolutely blown away by the personal service, care and attention she received. The dentist spoke to her very kindly and patiently, and as a result she was perfectly calm throughout the check up. He also answered all her questions carefully and thoughtfully. The hygienist appointment was equally brilliant. She was very calm and careful and the appointment was completely pain free for my mother. It's everything I could have asked for. The surgery is also immaculately clean and has a pleasant atmosphere.

Dr Sarah Lee & Dr Paroo always make you feel comfortable with the whole process. An Michelle Best makes you feel welcome on each visit. It was a long journey of retainers to get to the final result. But Im still so happy with the final results and only wish I'd done it sooner.

Negative experience: Very bad service. Very disappointing. I was 12 minutes late because I have a small baby 2 month and they didn’t care about and they said me to wait 3 hours for next appointment. I had to take taxi and when I went there they said me no we canceled because the dentist can’t attend you . All bisnes because they want you to go privately. Never going again there .

Fantastic experience: Harley Street experience in North London! I wasn’t sure what to expect in terms of options available to me as I had a cross-bite and overcrowding. My Orthodontist Sarah Lee asked me what I wanted to get out of having braces. I said to be able to smile with confidence. I was then entrusted into the care of the brilliant Orthodontic Nurse Michelle Best who introduced me to some really hi tech imagery. Michelle produced an amazing 3D model of my mouth. Sarah then suggested a couple of options and was extremely confident that I could get my desired outcome in 12-16 months. I was delighted that my expectations could be managed. There was absolutely no pressure to proceed with treatment. I came back straight away to have my braces fitted. Sarah and Michelle took their time to make sure that I was relaxed and worked their magic. Over the next year I returned every 6-8 weeks to have adjustments made and to compare my progress to the original photos of my teeth. Massive difference noticed in just a couple of months. Every visit to the clinic, I was met warmly by Helen in Reception. All the staff were genuinely interested in how I was getting on. When the big day arrived and my fixed braces were removed, Michelle and Sarah were both really pleased to see how happy I was. Overall a life-changing experience as I now feel more confident and even try to give the biggest smile when having my photograph taken. Flexible payment options is really helpful at the clinic. I really didn’t expect such a great outcome and if like me, you were self censoring, come in and speak to the Team. My thanks to Sarah and Michelle. Very grateful to you both (especially for the Christmas themed elastics!).

Fantastic experience: My two-year Invisalign journey with Paroo, Hannah, Michelle and Helen has been life changing. From being painfully self-conscious and hating to be photographed, I can now smile and laugh with confidence thanks to their fantastic treatment and care. Greeted like a long lost friend at each appointment, I always looked forward to my visits to the Oakwood Clinic. They gave me such a warm welcome every time and showed a genuine interest in me, my life and my progress. Paroo, and the team, went out of their way to accommodate and adapt to my schedule. I was living overseas and could only visit once every four months for most of the first year and once every two months in the second year. Having the scanning app was such a boon and a great communication channel. If you are thinking about orthodontic treatment, I cannot recommend Paroo and her team highly enough. Thank you so much

During the treatment, there were times i was getting impatient however the staff were great and always kept encouraging me to keep sticking to the plan and i'm very glad i did! Positive experience: I first joined this practice when I moved to Southgate a few years ago and have seen a few changes in that time, and at my last visit I saw the very charming Ray. I was then passed to the new hygienist who carried on an endless conversation with her assistant in their own language, and laughing. I am 91 years old and this made me feel very uncomfortable. Were they laughing about me? Then the treatment suddenly stopped and I was told that I would have to come back for another session and I would have to pay another £85. (Her exact words). I have never had two sessions before to have my teeth cleaned and £85 is a lot of money to me. It sounded a bit like money grabbing and I came away feeling very unhappy.

My braces treatment was overseen by Mrs. Sarah Lee, and from our initial consultation, her detailed explanations made me feel completely at ease. Initially, I had some concerns about post-treatment care, but Mrs. Lee reassured me and provided invaluable guidance. She thoroughly addressed all my inquiries regarding my treatment. Michelle Best, who served as my orthodontic nurse alongside Mrs. Lee, was exceptionally friendly, helpful, and responsible for capturing before and after images and scans. Their use of Invisalign scanners for scans was a significant advantage, offering greater accuracy compared to the traditional mold-based retainers. Hannha Popat, an orthodontic nurse and coordinator, also played a vital role in my treatment. She compiled a compelling slideshow of my before and after results and promptly addressed my questions through email and phone. Lastly, Helen, the receptionist, was outstanding. Our conversations, ranging from holidays to general life topics, always made me feel incredibly welcome. The entire team's synergy and expertise are unparalleled. I am immensely grateful to all of them for their dedication, and I want to extend special appreciation to Mrs. Sarah Lee for her unwavering commitment to improving my dental health.

Fantastic experience: So very happy with the care, quality of diagnosis and treatment plan provided at the oakwood clinic. I was looking for a good orthodontist for my 12 year old daughter and had taken her to several orthodontists local to me for her treatment all of whom advised to remove up to 4 teeth prior to treatment. Oakwood was a bit further out travelwise for us however have taken much more care with X-rays and a comprehensive treatment plan without the need to remove teeth (there will be a review after her treatment should teeth still require removal and proceed at that point. Far better plan as once teeth are removed there is no way to put back!) Both Dr Paroo and Hannah put my daughter and myself at ease and every step fully explained at each appointment. Well worth the additional journey time for the level of care provided.Thank you Oakwood team!

Fantastic experience: I couldn’t recommend Oakwood more highly. I’ve been with the hygienist (Shirin) for years and moved after she changed practices. It’s worth the hour trip each way to see her. I’ve a history of gum problems - and have been told by hygienists in the past that I’d likely start losing teeth at a young age. The first time I saw Shirin, she told me she’d help get my gums better - and she has. When I’ve had procedures that I was nervous about (under gum cleaning) she put me at ease and goes to great lengths to make her patients feel as comfortable as possible. She is wonderful. I have only seen Ray the dentist once so far - but I was hugely impressed by the action plan he immediately put in place for improving my teeth to improve their appearance. He used some excellent technology to create a 3D image of my teeth - and having previously been with an NHS dentist, the step up to private treatment with Ray is a clear step up and worth every penny. Thank you Oakwood team!
