I came away positive that I would move forward in a positive way. I felt much calmer than I was on arrival. Thank you all.

Fantastic experience: I have just seen Joe this morning. Even though he had to replace a large filling in a molar, there was no discomfort during or after the anesthetic wore off and the new filling feels very comfortable. I Can wholeheartedly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I have been with the practice for over two decades and I have, during all my care here, consistently expeienced, professional , friendly, kind and cheerful receptionists. I have been privileged enough for my two boys and I to be under the care of the amazing Dr Owen Higgs. I speak for my boys too, when I say he is the most talented people person I have ever met. When you worry how bad your oral siituation is, you leave the room feeling much brighter. He is very skillful and empathetic to every individual patient. He has a fantastic sense of humour, wise and kind. More applicably, he is an extremely experienced skillful dentist who takes time to think outside the box. In my case, someone with weak teeth, he has had to be so resourceful in methods to preserve them. His overwhelming purpose is the welfare of his patients and his advice is contary to profit. I can't thank him enough and recommend him immensely. All the dental nurses are well recruited and have a calm kind professional conduct. The total experience is always consistently brilliant, thank you.

From the reception staff (Ann in particular) to the Dental Nurses, everyone puts you at ease. I now have a different dentist Joe who was just as lovely & patient as my old one. He replaced a filling for me with a lovely white one & was super patient & calm. Thank you so much, I feel ao grateful to have found this practice.

The dental hygienist was fantastic – thorough, gentle, and explained everything clearly, which made the whole process really comfortable. My teeth felt brilliant afterwards. I also had a dental check-up the same day, and the dentist was equally professional and friendly. They took the time to talk through my dental health, gave helpful advice, and made me feel completely at ease. The whole visit was efficient, welcoming, and reassuring – I left feeling very well looked after. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Impressed that I didn’t even have to give my name at reception. A bit of a stretch to say they recognised me but perhaps! Feels like a very personal service anyway. All the staff are friendly and pleasant, which is very important when you’re inevitably slightly nervous. I’d arranged a double appointment tent and there was only a brief wait between them. I like that my dentist, Joe, treats me like an intelligent adult in his discussions and didn’t try to hurry along a probably inevitable future treatment. Overall, I couldn’t fault the staff in this visit, which is what I’ve come to expect

Fantastic experience: Today I had a hygenist appointment with Emily. This included some deep cleaning between the teeth and gums, which has generally been very uncomfortable, at best, in the past! On this occasion, however, there was no discomfort. In fact the whole of the appointment was conducted with great care, thoroughness, clear explanations and a very friendly manner. Very good professionalism. Excellent!

Fantastic experience: On 31st March 2025 I cracked my denture eating an apple early in the morning! I took it to Ilkley Dental Clinic at about 10.30am. First impressions were very good, helped by the very pleasant and helpful receptionist. She called the Dental Technician who came up very quickly, looked at the denture and said "it will be ready in an hour" and indeed it was! At £30 I thought it was very reasonable too. I would recommend Ilkley Dental to anyone needing help with Dental issues. Les Winder, Otley.
