Fantastic experience: Really happy with this dental clinic. The staff are so professional and friendly. They got an amazing dentists who are doing a great job! Getting an emergency appointment is dead easy and can be booked online. I am glad we’ve registered with this clinic! Their fees are a little bit on the high side of the scale, but still reasonable and I think it definitely worth it (based on a previous experience). Thanks team

Negative experience: I had a back tooth which had a filling fitted. The filling fell out and over time the tooth was completely destroyed. I wish the treatment for the filling was never carried out. My grumble was with the dentist who has since left the practice. The charges are pretty expensive even with any discounts under a plan. I've now been prescribed root canal treatment for around £1900. I'm not keen to return...

Positive experience: The dentist himself is amazing! Makes me feel at ease even though I have a phobia of dentist. The only issue I had was booking the appointment. They tried to get me to book 3 separate sessions for 3 fillings when it could be done in one. At first the receptionist was adamant that I could only book them separately but when I then didn’t book in then I was told at a later date this was not the case and I could book in one. It feels sales focused here when dentistry is already so expensive. I just care about what I need and like the options to be presented in a way that is customer centric and not how you can squeeze money I don’t have out of me.

After developing a very painful tooth over the weekend I was able to get an appointment on the Monday and Jo was very thorough in diagnosing the cause of the problem. She explained in detail the issues and possible treatments available and was able to start the treatment I chose straight away. I couldn't fault the service from all the members of the team and would recommend the practice for anyone requiring dental treatment and precautionary dental plans

Fantastic experience: It is never a pleasure having peridontal treatment, but the two members of staff who saw me very soon calmed my nerves. After the initial progress test they were able to show me on the computer screen how my condition had improved since the onset of treatment, and then they proceeded with a high pressure clean (which I was able to stop by simply raising my hand when it became too painful). They were kind and understanding throughout and although I'm not exactly looking forward to my next treatment, I'm not terrified!

Fantastic experience: If you are looking for a new Dental Practice, I'd like to recommend you FHP Foregate Dental. The whole team from dentists, dental nurses, hygienists and reception staff are extremely friendly and professional. I had an emergency appointment with Robert Lewis and everything went great. He took out my wisdom tooth and I had zero complications during the extraction recovery. Yesterday, I had my first appointment with a hygienist (Laura Bosah-Reece) and she was very patient and efficient with me. Don't want to forget to mention Laura and Amy, both very kind who provide an excellent Patient Service. Thank you FHP Foregate Team!

Fantastic experience: This visit was to the Dental Hygienist, and I was pleased, once again, at the thoroughness of the cleaning process, which was as comfortable as can be accomplished! Plenty of time was given for a bit of a rest - otherwise progress was swift. Care was taken to help me to 'get flossing' properly (which I find difficult due to aging and puddly fingers!). I can honestly report that I receive friendly and reliable service here, so no hesitation in saying "thank you" to the dental and reception staff.

Negative experience: Had work done less than a year ago,had 3 fillings that have all fell out,had 2 root canals ,one of which has left tooth hollow and snapped,worst dental treatment I have ever received,nice one for 2k down the toilet and leaving me in worse state than I arrived.

Positive experience: The dentist looking at my daughters teeth was excellent, think her name is Jenny. Receptionist helpful too. However, docking the practice a star because it is inaccessible for my other daughter who has cerebral palsy and cannot walk up stairs. There is no stairlift or wheelchair access or a way for anyone with walking difficulties to get to the dentists office 1-2 floors up. Maybe consider having an accessible dentist office on the ground floor or stair lift as we are looking at going to another dentist due in inaccessibility issues. Such a shame as we really liked the dentist herself!

Fantastic experience: I booked an emergency appointment after having pain on my tooth for more than 2 weeks.i had tooth extraction with with Dr Ahmer Ali he was really good he explained everything to me and didn't really felt much pain on my extraction even though it was a hard one.Also it wasnt so expensive as i thought it would be.i would definitely come back and i would recommend it to anyone who is in pain and wants their teeth sorted.

Fantastic experience: I was booked to have fillings. I am very nervous of having injections & the drill. Rob, my dentist was excellent. He was very patient, took extra care to explain everything & made my experience a lot less stressful then I was expecting. Highly recommended

Fantastic experience: I love this practice. I feel completely at ease during routine check ups and my hygienist appointments. I take advantage of the annual, free health screening which measures cholesterol, bmi ect and was alerted to the fact that my glucose levels were lower than average and advised to see my GP. I highly recommend this practice without reservation. ; )

Negative experience: Had a filling done 9 months ago, went back for check up, filling was broke. Was informed by receptionist that even though it was within its 12 month guarantee that I'd have to pay again as "the shape needed changing" after me refusing to pay again and the receptionist speaking to the dentist twice she finally agreed that I wouldn't have to pay again (£150) even though she tried her very hardest to get me to go on a payment plan telling me i would get a discount! Why would I do this when you can't even keep your word on a 12 month guarantee. They then call me the next day and conveniently tell me they never filled my tooth in the first place it was the one next to it and unfortunately I'd have to pay again. Absolute disgrace

Negative experience: Absolutely no problems in the 45 years I’ve been with this practice. UNTIL they went private. Appointment after appointment cancelled … treatment for my nephew and myself amounted £800 .. in the midst of treatment my nephew got 2 infections, had to have more stitches and was told they had given him the wrong date for his final treatment!! Just one week after me having X-rays, full check up and 2 fillings another tooth broke. Why wasn’t this flagged up on X-rays?? This is appalling

Liza is my dentist and she is excellent. She is friendly, welcoming and always completes her work with care and diligence. I always feel at ease whenever I have anything done.
