Fantastic experience: I was sent here as my NHS dentist obviously didn’t want to spend time and money on a procedure I had been treated for a few years before . I had an infection in an area where I had root canal a few years earlier and this needed to be re-done. My dentist Andrew was fantastic ! Charming polite and super professional explaining the process step by step! It’s nice having comfort in knowing your dentist is super caring and very professional so it kinds of reduces the fear factor a little. But I’d definately recommend this practice 100% ! Fantastic experience: After numerous costly visits to have root canal work on a molar, I was referred to NAD after my own dentist did not have the equipment to complete my root canal work. NAD were far superior in their ability, communication and excellent result after 2 visits to complete the work.

Negative experience: Unfortunately not a great experience. I have been bringing my 90yr old friend for nearing 2 months on a weekly basis to have bridges made. It has dragged on and on. Appointments have been arranged and rearranged Unfortunately when you mention anything to staff it's not there fault and it's the Labs fault. Nobody these days seem to take any responsibility. Service has been really poor.

Fantastic experience: I've been with this practice now for about 20 years. My dentist, Lee, is just amazing. I am and always have been terrified of dentists after a bad experience many years ago, but Lee is always gentle and does an amazing job at managing my nerves! Her work is always first rate and my teeth have never looked better. The team in general is absolutely lovely and always efficient. I get reminders when my appointments are due, so I never miss them. Well run and managed and a first-rate practice. I cannot recommend them highly enough. UPDATE 12 August 2025 - Had to add to my original review after an amazing experience today. Emergency appointment with a new dentist (Graham Quigley) - Had to have a new filling which meant the dreaded injection! Dr Quigley was amazing and used a technique so I didn't even feel the needle go in! Another first rate experience. Well done, NAD!

Dr Henderson was so friendly and professional showing me my xrays and explaining in detail my options. During the procedure he explained everything he was doing which i found was reassuring and helpful. I felt no pain or discomfort and i am delighted the tooth that was causing me so much trouble is finally out! I would not hesitate to recommend this Clinic. Thank you.

As a testament to how good he is, I dozed off a couple of times. After the treatment on both occasions I experienced NO after pain. Fantastic experience: This isn’t my usual dentist but had to visit to have a scan for some dental work. I was very impressed on entering the practice, it was very clean and modern looking. Mel who performed the scan was extremely helpful and arranged a further scan which hadn’t been on my original referral to save me going back, she also explained fully everything she was doing. All in all a very friendly, professional practice.

Greig was kind and extremely patient, thoroughly explaining every part of the procedure with my daughter, everything taken at her pace. Fantastic experience: Using this dentistry for years now. Friendly reception staff, easy booking, sometimes same day appointment, hygienist does amazing job. Cannot say the dentist work has 100% success rate, the filling on the upper tooth was uneven and as a result broke the bridge on the bottom jaw but that one had to be replaced anyway so 5 stars it is.

Fantastic experience: I had a re-route canal treatment done by Andrew Gemmell, it was the most pain free dental treatment that I have ever had. I would recommend him to everyone looking to have this done. He is an expert in this treatment and extremely gentle.

The professionalism and genuine helpfulness of the reception stands out as an overall, genuinely good dental practice.

Fantastic experience: What a great place, went in for a root canal, no pain experienced at all, no discomfort. Don't believe all the old horror stories you hear from years ago. Dentistry has advanced so much and at the practice they have to most up to date advanced equipment at their disposal. Andrew made me feel comfortable and at ease and explained everything he was doing, and you can even watch television while been treated. I would highly recommend anyone who needs treatment to go here.

Fantastic experience: Back in January I cracked and seriously damaged one of my molar teeth, then phoned the practice on a Saturday morning to see if they could arrange an urgent appointment during the next week. To my surprise and delight they were able to give me an appointment that very morning, and my damaged tooth was at once given a temporary filling by the dentist who attended to me. I was very pleased by this response and commend those people involved for their assistance to me.

Fantastic experience: Hi, I had a tooth extracted by Mr Henderson on Friday 19th January. I was nervous as I presume most people are but the Dentist went through what he was going to do and kept me informed of the progress as the procedure went on. I have to say that I felt absolutely no pain and found his whole caring manner very reassuring. I was given a leaflet on what to expect and instructions to follow in the next few days, I have followed the instructions and I can say that I have had no pain, no swelling and am amazed at how well it all went. I have been with this practice since it opened and have always felt happy with their services. Thank you so much Dr Henderson and thank you to Dr Howell for recommending that i have this tooth removed .

Fantastic experience: I was referred to Andrew at Kingston Park dentistry by my own dentist who was not able to complete a further root canal on a failed root canal tooth previously done 9 years ago. I had been in so much pain with the tooth and had been on 2 courses of antibiotics to get rid of an infection. So i was very anxious about any further treatment but knew I wanted to try and save the tooth. From the outset Andrew was so informative. Scans and X-rays were carried out which showed that I needed 2 root canals. He explained what could be done. I knew it was going to be a costly job but I was willing to pay to ensure they were done correctly. I attended my first session mid December where Andrew was able to reconstruct my tooth and get rid of any decay. He cleaned out the roots and added disinfectant to it. He then added a temporary filling. This took over an hour but I could tell Andrew was ensuring the job was done correctly and thoroughly. I went back 3 weeks later to have the root canals completed. I can’t thank Andrew enough for the work he has completed on my teeth. I trusted him from the get go and would not hesitate to recommend him and/or go back for further work on my teeth if needed in the future.

Fantastic experience: Prior to my visit to Kingston Park Advanced Dentistry, I had been to only 1 dentist visit in 20yrs due to genuine anxiety of dentists from prior horrendous experiences as a child, I finally plucked up the courage to visit. From the very start I was made welcome by friendly understanding and caring staff. My dentist from the initial consultation reassured me and I was able to gain confidence in him from the off. I have always found all the reception staff, hygienists, nurses and dentists at Kingston Park Advanced Denistry to be professional, pleasant and proficient. Everyone is helpful and there is no dreaded dentist feeling whatsoever. The treatment is always first class, the advice about options is always honest and there is never any pain with any treatments. Fantastic experience: Following referral by my registered dentist I attended Kingston Park Dental Practice for assessment of a tooth requiring complex dental care. Following investigation including X-RAY and a scan a second appointment was arranged to have Root Canal dental treatment carried out. Treatment was carried out by Dentist Xander Howell who was assisted by Nurse Helen. Procedure was fully explained and although I was a little anxious I felt safe and cared for throughout the procedure. I found all the staff reassuring and professional and would be happy to attend Kingston Practice again if required.

Fantastic experience: Andrew Gemmel has unprecedented experience in root canal treatment and has saved 4 of my teeth from extraction and cleared up a nasal sinus infection arising from upper jaw root infections. He explained that NHS treatment schedules and pricing do not allow the time necessary to successfully treat root canal infections. Andrew is always cheerful, humming musical ditties as he works, and fully explains what he is doing and why.

Fantastic experience: After having a problem tooth for a very long time I had the option of having root canal treatment or extraction. I opted for the former. I wanted to have the best possible chance of saving my tooth. My dentist referred me to KPD as they are very experienced in Endodontics and have superior technology. I am always very anxious for any dental procedures but I found the whole experience excellent. Andrew was very reassuring and kept me informed step by step what he was doing. I found the rubber dam to be very comfortable when keeping my mouth open and soon started to relax. I would never worry about having this treatment again and would come back here.
