Negative experience: Unfortunately, the customer service here was very poor. After arriving on time for my appointment, i still had to wait 45 mins to be called in by the dentist. This particular dentist always asks if i have to pay for my treatment. It seems my response to this question determines what level of treatment, if any, they're prepared to offer me. The dentist made multiple rude comments and seemed unbothered about my concerns. Offered me no treatment and sent me on my way after i explained to him the issue and how much oral pain i was in since my last appointment.

Positive experience: The dental check-up was fine as was expected, however I felt there was a total lack of communication in asking for payment up front for treatment that was in two weeks further down the line. Just something I’ve never done. I gave my opinion to the receptionist who told me if I don’t pay there and then I can’t have treatment. Sometimes people wouldn’t have the amount the treatment cost there and then and that the communication should be better. Did not want to know

Negative experience: Dentist themselves are brilliant! But the receptionist and new owners are horrible people. They seem to be taking a lot of people of the list that have valid reasons or they were not even at fault. I was taken off the list when been coming here for years because one of the receptionist cancelled my appointment. The big blonde one (sorry no other way to describe her) she is quite rude she never smiles talks to patients with no manners. Not sure what her problem is but does need to be looked into. Instead of taking people of the list that is actually attending their appointments or have valid reason get better staff in at the front desk.

Negative experience: Awful receptionist, very unprofessional, “I don’t know if you heard but you can’t come to us anymore”. No I obviously hadn’t heard from anyone about this because I was just about to leave for my appointment. The appointment had been booked AT LEAST 1 month in advance and I got a confirmation voicemail from yourselves on Friday 3:23pm asking to “phone back if I am UNABLE to attend my Monday appointment”. I understand completely that there are new policies since new ownership of the dental practice - had any of these new policies been communicated to me I would have understood and not had to take a day off work - leaving me without pay and having to endure terrible communication over the phone. I have been coming to this dentist for roughly 20 years and in recent years have spent an awful lot of money for treatment which I have never had a problem with. Over the years, I have never cancelled appointments but in fact have had many cancellations from the dentist themselves - I have always been understanding as they were very kind. However, for the one time I’ve had to cancel 2 appointments, (it was not 3 - which was just quoted to me by the receptionist, because I was told by reception that 1 of those appointments needed to be rearranged for whatever their reason was, and I agreed to re-book at a later date) - they in fact, decided to tell me 1 hour before my appointment that I have been taken off their list. I’ve been extremely unwell and had a family member unexpectedly pass away causing me to have to cancel those 2 appointments. I did call into the dentist explained and apologised for any inconvenience. From the time of the phone call explaining my cancellation, the time of then booking my new appointment (again booked AT LEAST 1 month in advance) and from the time I received a voicemail confirming my Monday appointment, I have not been told anything. Instead of rectifying their mistake of not informing me of the “new policy” after all this time period, but in fact 1 hour before my appointment … I was met with such a terrible person over the phone. I work with patients everyday and have done so for the last 17 years and not once in my lifetime have I ever not apologised or at least showed empathy to a person. Once again, if I had been informed throughout this whole time period, or been spoken to in a compassionate manner - while I would have been disappointed, I know I would have understood. Unfortunately, long-term loyal patients are no longer cared for like they used to. Will be letting my family, friends and my health community team aware of this recklessness.

Fantastic experience: Wow the first time in how many years of going to the dentist, I've found a dentist who pulled my tooth like magic, no force used to get it out " Abbra ca dabbra ".

Negative experience: Been attending this surgery for 37 years. Rang up for an urgent app, as filling had broken and fell out. Also crown on the other side of my mouth came out - got told I was no longer an NHS patient. I had to cancel 2 apps because I was ill a while ago - this was used against me. I was told I could only be seen as a Private patient. I ended up paying £148.00 for 1 filling. I'm a Pensioner, and also on a very low income - these people didn't care about that. So, I believe 1 star is generous.

Fantastic experience: Well I just want to thank you all for the care I have received here I've only been with you guys for around 2 months already I've had my pain dealt with been treated for an infection and had 2 teeth removed which I always have struggled with in the past due to anxiety but the receptionist is very friendly warm welcoming and professional and my dentist and her nurse have been amazing really looking forwards to finishing my treatment with you guys and getting my smile back thank you again
