Positive experience: If review was relating my allocated dentist, I will give 5 stars. Unfortunately, everytime I attend surgery I have to wait a minimum of 30/45 minutes to be seen. I work and it is difficult to get time off for appointments, so the surgery should schedule less appointments for better service.

Fantastic experience: Today was for a 6 monthly check up, scale and polish and while I was in the chair I said that I had lost some cosmetic filling in my two front teeth . Lavanya did an inspection and duly obliged by reinstating the filling. The whole process took only 15 minutes. I can't fault the service I received and was totally satisfied with the end result. Top notch dentistry.

Fantastic experience: Everybody here has been amazing, from me phoning for an emergancy appointment and the receptionist squeezing me in within the hour to the dentist providing antibiotics and booking in for an extraction. I have a real phobia of the dentist so having a tooth out was a big deal. The lovely receptionists put my mind at rest and Bahram assured me I wouldn't feel a thing, he was right I didn't. Thank you purity for fixing me, you are all nothing amazing, there is nothing worse that dental pain!

Fantastic experience: Staff very friendly today. I needed to see nhs dentist which one I saw wasn't but they rebooked so I can see right one next week. Everything was explained as it was my decision which one to see. The dentist was lovely and helpful.

Negative experience: The last twice I have been there they have kept me waiting nearly 20 minutes the one time and the last one I was booked in for 9am when they opened only to be told at 9.20 that my dentist was in a meeting with a rep!! I am a paying patient and he left me sitting there and could be bothered to tell me I only found out when I went up to the receptionist to ask if they had forgot me as I had to get to work. I told them I won't be going back no more even though I was booked in for a crown which was going to cost me over £300, there loss! Very bad service!!!

Positive experience: I have mixed feelings about Purity. There was a period of time that they really messed us around and kept cancelling appointments and the receptionist was super rude. On this occasion, my appointment was cancelled the day before and I was re-booked in 3 days later. Thing is, once we get in there the dentists are nice, waiting time short. They now do a scale and polish with your appointment which they did not do before without booking a separate appointment. So even though I find them quite unreliable, my experience today face to face has been really good. Pleasant appointment for my children and myself. Wish they were more reliable and didn’t cancel appointments the day before we are due to attend, pretty much every time!!

Negative experience: will call you multiple times to check you are attending appointment. will call day before to again confirm appointment, turn up 6 minutes after your designated time and the dentist has gone home. rushed back from a meeting in birmingham city centre for nothing after confirming attendance the day before. receptionist stated that they only wait 10 minutes for patients but the dentist left way before that, doubt if i’d have been there on time Id have been seen, sunny day and wanted to go home it seems. what an absolute waste of time!

Dr Frazier Mogostis & his colleague was very knowledgeable & explained in depth what was going on & he prescribed me some antibiotics until I decide what treatment to have. Receptionists were pleasant too.

Fantastic experience: Went to dentist yesterday and managed to get an emergency appointment as had been to the doctors earlier and he said he thought I might have had an abcese. Dentist was very good as he knows how frightened of dentist I am. He also got in touch with Bandels in Cradley heath as he knows if I have got to have teeth out I have to have sedation as I'm that frightened. Regards Debra Davies

Fantastic experience: I had snapped off a tooth. I obtained an emergency appointment in under 3 hours. I received caring attention and the options were openly discussed and good advices given. A solution was agreed and executed professionally I have been with this practice since 1975 and find them excellent in every respect. They have safeguarded my own teeth and I cannot recommend them too highly. .

Fantastic experience: Went for a check up today. Both Receptionists busy when I arrived. The lady who dealt with me apologised for keeping me waiting. I went in on time to see the dentist who was friendly and efficient. Check up completed and cleaning carried out on lower teeth. Back in 6 months for check up. Good service.

Fantastic experience: Great service. I went in with a problem without an appointment. Dentist fitted me in immediately. Had an examination and X-ray and a course of antibiotics to sort out an absess under my tooth. Very quick and efficient.

Fantastic experience: I had a very pleasant experience as I'm nervous about visiting the dentist its been a long time since my last visit. Staff were polite, friendly and put me at ease. i will be returning for more treatment . I've had my treatment and it was a totally pain free appointment. I've just started a course of teeth whitening which I'm excited about. I couldn't compliment this practice enough .

Negative experience: I used this dental practice for a few years before lockdown, no issues. I hadn't been back since but needed to recently after a tooth cracked. It took three weeks to be seen for a checkup with a cracked tooth. From there, the checkup lasted 3 minutes. No checkup I have ever had before was this short, considering it had been 5 years and my teeth had changed position since (aligners) there was no mention of this. No questions, no discussion, just confirming what I was there for. It was suggested I book in for a crown which was another 2.5 weeks. During prep, I had not been told I was having a second tooth worked on, when I questioned, I was near shouted at saying "I told you". I am pretty sure I would remember being told I need a filling. The next appointment to get the crown impressions wasnt for a whole month. I wasnt told what to do in the mean time, no information again. I left and my bite felt off for a couple of days, I just presumed it was normal. Pieces of filling kept showing up in the sink and the filling felt like it was protruding from the tooth. Not 10 days after my treatment, the whole front of the filled tooth came off. A tooth I wasn't even aware there was an issue with is now missing. I went into the dentist with a full set of teeth and now I'm missing one. Best part is when I phoned up to cancel my next appointments (no way was I going back to a rude, cowboy dentist), I didn't even get asked how they ruined my teeth. Receptionist decided instead to hang up on me. Not only did they ruin my teeth, they didn't even want to know how or even attempt to amend the issue. Had I found out prior to this that dental practice had changed hands since my previous visits, I might've saved myself all this stress by going elsewhere. Beyond useless and dentist Mogotsi should work as far away from general public as possible.

Negative experience: my daughter was referred here 2022 for braces , i have been calling them for the following years so many times and they keep dragging it by saying she’ll be checked next year , but we are now in 2025, they haven’t even called back asking for her teeth to be checked , even our own dentist are quite concerned and always advice to email them which they never reply to , I get the waiting list may be long and isn’t up to the staff but so many children I know have been referred to this place and have had braces 1 to 2 years later but their teeth aren’t that concerning , my daughter is tired and sick of waiting and is now suffering from anxiety and depression bevouse of how insecure she is , she is next turning 17 and we are so appalled her most her teen life has been ruined due to waiting and always getting told to be waiting till next year , they did say they are sending out appointments in April 2025 I hope to see her name on that I hope they see this and do help her out .

Negative experience: I had worth experience with this practice the receptionist and manger are very unprofessional and rude once come to problem solving. The dentist did filling in black is like 1980 I told him I pay changed it to white they did not even care they just wasn’t me out as riser issues to the practice owner. They are useless is just your luck on that day so good luck guys if you want go with them. Avoid please

Fantastic experience: Lots of changes here since lockdown - very quiet nowadays. Reception staff are lovely and welcoming and Dentist is brilliant. Very frank and to the point, enough to instil correct ways of brushing to the teens and a very friendly soft approach to the little one, making it fun and exciting for her. Lots of stickers later she’s a happy bunny as is her Teddy who had her teeth counted aswell!

Positive experience: The receptionist could do with learning some manners, not even a good morning welcome. She looked like she didn't enjoy working here. She barely looked at me when I was speaking to her. The radio was playing too loud to be heard properly. She was very slow at service and poor at customer communication and focus.

Fantastic experience: I was booked into Purity Dental this morning for a tooth extraction. As always, I was talked through the process, pre procedure and post treatment. All the staff were very welcoming and friendly. Keep up the good work.

Negative experience: If I could leave a zero I would. Firstly, they gave out my phone number over the phone to someone pretending to be my husband and then changed my children's emergency contact details to this person's. Secondly, they allow a change to mine and my children's address by someone else again. This practice allows anyone to change details over the phone with no regard to data protection putting vulnerable people at risk

Positive experience: I have been using this same dental surgery for over 50 years. Staff are lovely and friendly. Very relaxed atmosphere. Only downside to me is waiting room was extremely messy and whole place just didn’t feel very clean. Very different to any previous visits.

Negative experience: Since going from the practice being owned by Dr R Sharma to a large private consortium business called Rodericks, the service has demised massively. I used to get regular texts asking to go in for a check up, none received in years! I went in with a painful wisdom tooth coming through and was assured after prescribing antibiotics that they would refer me to the dental hospital to get it removed within a few weeks, that was 3 years ago, still waiting!!!!
