Fantastic experience: I am a new patient at The Briars and have been very impressed with the thorough and comprehensive introduction that I have received, firstly with Amy to look at my dental history and then with Nicola Murdoch, my new dentist. Nicola has spent time reviewing my records and has advised me about treatment going forward with great care and attention to detail. Before my first treatment Nicola explained what she was going to do before proceeding and the process was comfortable and relaxed. I have also been most impressed by the range of scanning and diagnostic technology used at The Briars and feel that my future dental health is in good hands.

Fantastic experience: Excellent practice. Super thorough and professional. We migrated to The Briars to deal with a filling in my then-6-year-old's tooth which our previous practice wanted to refer to an NHS hospital. Nicholas French was able to do it with no pain, no fuss and not anaesthetic needle! Remarkable skill. I've been prompted to leave a review after a few years here as my tween/teen girls had such a positive experience with Richard Lilleker yesterday: He was so good with them. Gave them some robust feedback on brushing (!) and was thoroughly jolly and upbeat. They bounced out of the surgery. Thank you all at The Briars.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Briars practice. I was recently seen by the lovely Meryl and her nurse Agatha. Meryl was gentle and very thorough, and made me feel comfortable. Agatha made sure that I was comfortable throughout the treatment. When I had a follow up question during my second appointment, Meryl promptly got back to me and provided all the necessary advice. The receptionists are always so attentive and helpful. Dr Richard is our family dentist and he is also very patient, extremely knowledgeable and professional. I couldn't recommend them more.

Fantastic experience: I phoned as an emergency as I had chipped my front tooth whilst ironically eating a tortilla chip. I had the most wonderful dentist. I had to have an injection which is never pleasant but the rest of the visit was. I really didn’t feel a thing and her new techniques were so modern that I really didn’t have an ounce of discomfort. When she had finished my front tooth looked better than before I chipped it. I usually hate going to the dentist but I immediately asked if I could switch to her as my dentist and have booked a check up for two week’s time. I could not think of a better way to spend a large amount of money.

Fantastic experience: I can't complement the Briars team enough. The professionalism, individual care and attention, and all round quality of service is impressive. I highly recommend Briars for anyone considering Invisalign treatment.

Fantastic experience: It's been a long time since I've been to the dentist but I visited Briars today for an emergency appointment and I couldn't have asked for better care. I've quite literally walked out of other dentists because the welcome was so cold and scary I just couldn't imagine going there for treatment but from my initial enquiry to my treatment everyone was really friendly and made me feel a little more at ease. My dentist was Richard and he explained everything clearly, and didn't make me feel any worse than I already did about my oral health. He was no nonsense but also empathetic and I really appreciated the care given. This was just the beginning of a long road ahead in terms of dental care but I definitely feel like I'll be in safe hands when returning to The Briars. Would highly recommend to anyone look for a new dentist. I know cost can also be a huge factor in choosing a dentist and I also felt like that was explained clearly and with understanding.

Fantastic experience: Not my dentist but I was sent here for a CT scan which my own dentist could not do. My first impressions were a friendly and efficient reception team who were expecting me. I had hardly sat down in the lovely cosey waiting room when I was called by Amy for my scan. Super friendly and efficient! Back in the waitingroom while I waited for my results I was chatting to another paient who had been with them for years. He could not praise the team enough. I know if I have any need to switch dentist Briars will be my first port of call! Thankyou to all the team and keep up the good work :0)

Fantastic experience: I saw the dentist Mr.Richard Lilleker yesterday who fitted by lower back crown as that was a broken tooth. As always he was very very good and the crown is very good and I can now eat on that side of the mouth again. Thank you so much. I also saw the hygienist, Meryl Colley who was also very good. Fantastic experience: My children love visiting the centre to see Dr Hanif. His care and passion is exceptional. Not only does he provide an educational and positive experience, but he builds a comfortable and relaxing environment. My children feel at ease throughout and he has a wonderful way of engaging patients at the right level to ensure the appointment is effective and enjoyable. As a parent, I could not ask for more. I'm included throughout the appointment and he has provided a great foundation for oral care through his approach and advice, which has the children very excited and motivated to continue. This level of professionalism and care extends throughout Briars. My family have always felt welcomed by this very knowledgeable and engaging team.

Fantastic experience: I had such a wonderful experience during my recent hygiene appointment with Amiee Mosher and Kasia Pike. From the moment I arrived, I felt so well looked after. Amiee was incredibly gentle, thorough, and professional throughout, she explained everything clearly and made me feel totally at ease. Kasia was equally warm and welcoming, and together they make a fantastic team. My teeth have never felt cleaner, and I genuinely left with a smile on my face. I am such a nervous patient but he completely put me at my ease and I ended up having a small filling which I have needed for the past 18 months - thank you. I will definitely be back

Fantastic experience: I've used the Briars for years for myself and my three boys and always found everyone to be kind, patient and extremely knowledgeable. My middle son, Arthur, who's now 13, has always really disliked his teeth as they are quite small with gaps. Over time our dentist, Afif, made a plan with him to add some composite bonding to his front four teeth. This meant Arthur had minimal intervention and preserved the integrity of his teeth, which was super important to me as he's still only young and growing, but gave Arthur the changes he needed to give him more confidence in his smile. We're completely overjoyed with the result, it's made the world of difference to how Arthur feels about himself and he's really pleased he had it done. The composite bonding was really reasonably priced and gives us the options of doing more as he grows and becomes an adult if we wish. Afif has been great throughout, talking both me and Arthur through his plan so we're both reassured about the process. I also wanted to mention how great Meryl is, she is the hygienist me and my three boys all use. My youngest son is quite nervous about the dentist and finds it tricky but she is so kind and caring with him and taken the time to build up trust over a number of appointments that now he feels a lot easier with her. I'd not hesitate to recommend the Briars to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I’ve recently started treatment here and have to say, their attention, customer care and respect is spot on. I’ve previously attended the same dentist for nearly 40 years until they retired so not an easy transition to make. Nick and Kasia are highly skilled at what they do but very obviously care about their patients wellbeing at the same time. Thank you for making me feel at ease and confident in your care.

Fantastic experience: Changed dentists due to relocating to a new area and chose Briars not only from the online reviews but also the appearance of the clinic. From first view to going inside I was taken back by how professional it all looked and felt and the friendliness of the staff was warm and welcoming. I was in for my first consultation before any treatment was undertaken and a big thanks and special mention to Chelsea (Consultation Technician) for not only having a friendly and upbeat manner but explaining everything in such detail and with a calmness that I was instantly at ease and knew I had chosen the right place. For anyone who may be anxious about going to the dentist I can't recommend Briars highly enough.

Fantastic experience: I popped into the dentist today as my car had broken down outside and was being fixed, I wanted to borrow the loo and the lovely ladies on reception were so accommodating, they made myself and the AA mechanic a coffee each to warm us up! They're a credit to the practice ❤️

Fantastic experience: I have been attending The Briars Dental Centre for a couple of years and cannot praise their expertise enough. Yesterday Dr. Lilleker prepared a back tooth for a crown. Although the treatment was lengthy, at no time did I feel hurried and had complete confidence in his professionalism, ability and care. Furthermore, the premises are laid out very well. Parking in my experience, has never been a problem, first class cleaners internally cannot be faulted, the reception staff always seem pleased to see patients and listen to them and the external grounds are always tidy. What more could anyone want?

A testament to this is how long we have stayed loyal to the practice as patients. My mother’s been coming for 70 years and as her daughter I’ve been a patient for 40 years. Whilst visiting a dentist is not usually considered a great place to be, The Briars has a way of making it much easier that you think it will be. Fantastic experience: I was recently booked in for an appointment with Amy to discuss Invisalign treatment. On arrival, reception staff were lovely and directed me to really nice and homely waiting room! Amy was so great, she made the appointment relaxed and friendly and took me through how Invisalign works and made sure I understood everything. At the end of the appointment she wasn’t pushy with me to get started and pay for treatment. She even emailed me a finance calculator so I could go away and think about what I wanted to do and how I would pay for it. Really lovely place and staff, highly recommend

Fantastic experience: Having moved to the area 2 years ago, I was really hesitant to change dentist but I wish I did it sooner! Richard and team are truly incredible, they make me feel a part of the process and I always come out smiling. Many past experiences throughout my childhood meant the going to the dentist was often anxiety provoking, often ending up in anxiety attacks. I now (dare say) look forward to going to the dentist and feel more calm than I ever had so thank you Richard! Negative experience: The service is becoming ridiculous. You need more than one month to wait for an appointment. The filling dropped off within 6 months for my daughter and it happened for 2 times.

Fantastic experience: Great service for a root canal treatment. Dr Richard Condon was very professional, explained everything clearly before doing and after the procedure which lasted for 2 hours. Removed a crown, treated the root canals and replaced with temporary crown. No pain during the procedure at all, just a little that day when the numbness faded. Next day almost back to normal. Great job thank you.

My Associate Dentist Nicola Murdoch provides annual check ups to ensure my overall teeth health remains in great shape. Sharmila has also taken great care of my gums with her specialist expertise. You are in wonderfully safe and caring hands at the Briars and they can cater for everything dental related.

Fantastic experience: I had a lot of discomfort from two adjacent back teeth, the slightest touch of cold drink and it got really painful. The Briars team quickly diagnosed the problem and explained the x-ray images that showed a previous different practice’s root canal had caused decay of the tooth and the adjacent one along with the surrounding bone. I was left with a few choices that were clearly explained to me, but removal of the two teeth was the option I took with an implant replacement for one of them. I was referred to Nick French, who is their implant specialist. I had a process that encouraged the bone to regrow and then the implant. Nick’s demeanour is so calming and his explanations very clear, I had no distress or discomfort at all. I recognised the techniques he uses from the manufacturing industry, they are so advanced that the replacement tooth feels exactly like the one it replaced and now my mouth feels calm for the first time in quite a while. I totally recommend The Briars Dental Centre and Nick French.

Nothing is ever too much trouble and both Jo my hygienist and Nick French my dentist are outstanding. You never feel that you are being rushed and an atmosphere of calm pervades the Briars, from the excellent reception to the treatment rooms. I think if it hadn't been for Nick and Jo my teeth would have been in a much worst state than they are now. Nick is also a highly skilled practitioner having provided me with several dental implants. Positive experience: My visit to Richard last week went well. He identified that x rays hadn’t been taken for 3 years, and showed me the images, interpreting the results carefully and explaining the steps that may be required as treatment. I am disappointed that I will need to have another consultation to confirm if a root canal is needed. Warning: if you do need a consultation with the endodontist, you will need to pay in advance. I couldn’t do that on the day, but I will be booking in to have this followed up as soon as I can. I will need my own teeth for many more years!

Fantastic experience: I have just had my appointment with Nicola Murdoch for composite bonding treatment that was to fill a gap in my front upper tooth that had broken off. I believe the treatment itself lasted 50 mins in the chair and I guess I was a little apprehensive about the procedure though Nicola made me feel at ease and explained what she was doing. The end result looks amazing and I'm very pleased with the outcome. It's only been a couple of days since the procedure and I am a little wary while eating just now as I'm hoping it won't come out ! I'm sure it won't due to Nicola's fabulous work, just a normal reaction to never having this type of procedure before. Thank you Nicola. Glenn.

Fantastic experience: I recently had to visit Richard Lineker as I'd broken a tooth. He and his lovely nurse Agata made me feel comfortable and explained what treatment I needed. They work extremely well as a team and my treatment was painless.

Fantastic experience: A very happy customer! I had quite a lot of crooked and misaligned teeth so Victoria introduced me to Invisalign. She carefully created a program to give me the smile I wanted.
