Fantastic experience: Personable, friendly, informative and certainly the best dental experience I've had in my life. For me, the merits of always seeing the same dentist compound year on year. A routine appointment with Mike Ingram is unrushed, thorough, professional and informative. COVID UPDATE: A dental accident anytime is an issue that needs immediate attention. But what happens if there is a dental emergency during a pandemic? Having split my lower lip and seriously chipped an incisor during lockdown I telephoned ingrams for advice. Two hours later my lip had been x-rayed for tooth splinters and my tooth filled and repaired. I cannot praise enough the team at Ingrams and Mike Ingram himself for speedily solving my dental problem whilst scrupulously adhering to good hygiene practise. As always, a mannered, friendly and efficient appointment even during these difficult times. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: I can highly recommend this dental practice. The staff are all very nice, they are polite, they put you at your ease, and the dentist that I am seeing has the patience of a saint. He listens to what I think I need or want, and if he feels that is the wrong way for me to go, explains other options that would be so much better for me, but he is not patronising or dismissive. This dental practice was recommended to me by a friend who also has a high opinion of them, and I am happy to say she is spot on with her recommendation, and I am happy that I took her advice. .

Fantastic experience: I went to Ingrams Dental Practice on Thursday 6th August 2020 for a 6 month check up. My previous appointment with cancelled back in April due to Covid 19 and total lockdown. A few days ago I received a phone call explaining that my visit would be different to any previous visits I have had at Ingrams Dental Practice. Lots of precautions were needed to comply with guidelines are this moment in time. All differences were fully explained to me. On arrival in the Practice carpark I was to call the main reception and one of the dental nurses would come to the front door and wave at me to signify my appointment time was ready. Emma the practice nurse today did so and was wearing protective PPE. She also took my temperature on my forehead and got me to sign an iPad declaration stating I did not have any Covid 19 signs or symptoms. Emma then led me to Mikes room. Where my teeth examination was carried out by Mike and another practice nurse. All was again explained to me and was carried out within minutes. I left the dentists happy and with an appointment for 6 months time sent to me via email. Again during these difficult and somewhat scary times my experience with Ingrams Dental Practice was professional and caring as always. Many thanks all here’s to February 2021 for my next appointment (yikes) Thursday 11th, February 2021 So I returned today for my next 6 month checkup. I was seen for the first time today by Susie Ingram as sadly Mike left the practise earlier this week. Susie was briefed by one of her staff about my mint allergy and then proceeded to inspect my teeth, gums etc. I hadn’t spoken to Susie previously but found her very kind and caring in her manner and approach. I still thoroughly recommend this dentists to anyone. A good experience had in still difficult unknown times. My next appointment was made for 6 months time with Emma on reception. Very professional, Caring and kind people in this establishment. See you all hopefully later on this year. Thanks Sarah Monday 23rd, August 2021. I had my second 6 month check up this year today with Susie. Again another professional appoinment had. All forms/ paperwork were sent to me via email prior to my appointment today. I telephoned the practice from my car to say I had arrived the carpark as the email advised. I was asked to come into the surgery waiting room. I was greeted on entering the surgery by Emma and another lady on reception they kept there social distance behind the counter and screen of the reception. Before my appointment time I was asked by another dental nurse to come through to Susie’s room. I had my mask on and walked to the treatment room where I was greeted by Susie and asked to sit in the chair. X-rays were done as per the yearly recommendations. Checks were carried out on my neck then my teeth were examined, scrapped and cleaned. Advice was given by Susie on products to help clean the gaps in my teeth. I purchased a couple of products from the surgery to help with gap cleaning as suggested. I made an appointment for 6 months time and left the surgery. Thank you again all for the support, help and advice given today. Thursday 24th, February 2022. I visited Susie and her team at Ingrams for a 6 month checkup. All went well. My teeth were cleaned by Susie. She is now allowed again to use the machines as opposed to cleaning patients teeth by hand. I was made to feel at ease as is the norm by the staff. I left with sparkly teeth and an appointment for 6 months time. Wednesday 28th August 2024. Today was my 6 month checkup with Susie. I was greeted well at reception and shortly afterwards I went in for my checkup. All was good and I had my teeth cleaned. Susie and her dental nurse were both very kind and caring as usual. I made an appointment for 6 months time and left the dental practice.

Fantastic experience: Really happy with the treatment I received, my first visit to Abbotts Oak Dental practice and the staff couldn’t have been kinder, they were all very professional and I instantly felt reassured , I had a broken tooth which was beyond repair sadly and they carried out the initial consultation and I was given a treatment plan for which I was happy with, I was then invited back the same afternoon for the treatment which went really smoothly and for that I am very grateful, no more pain , I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this practice and I will definitely be returning for regular checks

Fantastic experience: I had some Supreme Plus Direct Composite in my lower teeth, after 2 injections and being in the chair for around 40mins Suzie made me feel very comfortable whilst working in my mouth, and did an excellent job at making my teeth look so much better. So decided to go private after seeing such good reviews from Ingrams I plucked up the courage & booked myself in, I am a VERY anxious patient & susie is great with me I could not ask for anymore, she is very honest & I have had to have a fair bit of work done & I can’t fault any of it, we have a treatment plan set up & I honestly would not go anywhere else! I had both style of brace, fixed (train track) on my upper teeth and Cfast clear aligners on my bottom teeth. The result is more than I ever imagined! Fantastic experience: I’ve been a patient at this practice (formerly Ingrams) for over 12 years after getting disenchanted with my former dentist. Although there is cost involved as it is a private practice, it is well worth the cost to know your dental health is in very good hands. All of the staff are extremely professional, caring & friendly. I’ve had a number of dental experiences here ranging from routine inspections to fillings & extractions - all of which have been conducted with the minimum of fuss. I no longer feel apprehensive about a visit to the dentist’s, which is quite a statement. Well done!

Fantastic experience: Been going to Abbots Oak Dental Practice and previously Ingrams Dental Practice for about 5-6 years. I have always felt comfortable going there even though I am a nervous patient. The girls on the reception to the dental nurses have always put me at ease and always pleasant. The Dentists themselves have always done a grand job and been very thoughtful of my nervousness. I am not so scared to go to the dentist now, thanks to everyone at Abbots Oak Dental Practice.

Fantastic experience: I visited this practice today for the first time to have work done. It was a lot of work, which I was very apprehensive about, but it was totally pain free, and I won't be so bothered about my next appointment.

Negative experience: One star as zero is not an option! Would not recommend unless you are willing to re mortgage your house, my experience was very stressing and un helpful, I went to the practice as an emergency due to toothache, paid £75 to enrol as a patient to hopefully have my broken tooth removed, however, after sitting in the waiting room being blasted with a sales pitch to buy the dental plan quite persistently, I was worried instantly that I was being sold a care home package, advising me they would be saving me £20 on a treatment…. I did not wish to have. Sorry but I don’t want new teeth veneers and dentures, I want a tooth out that is broken & giving me toothache, I at least thought I would be having an X-ray to check for any infection, no I didn’t have an X-ray I was given antibiotics £10 and a follow up for over a month away to have an X-ray… I would not recommend and definitely won’t be returning. If you don’t have a fear of dentist and want one, go here, or if you do have a fear this will cement your fear, I went in with toothache came out with a headache and a complex.

Negative experience: Staff ok but place is dated and tired. Knackered old cars parked outside. Refer you to another dentist who wants to charge over £2000 for something that another dentists charges less that half!!!! Need to freshen the place up and review how they do referrals which took over 5 weeks to sort. Left this place and gone elsewhere.
