Fantastic experience: Parisa and Lucy were beyond lovely when I visited on the 10th of April. Both ladies we’ve very approachable, professional and friendly. Nothing was too much to ask, they represent the dental practice very well. Parisa and Lucy reassured my worries throughout and I have got my Auntie and Uncle who I live with to join the practice. Top marks, very pleased with the all the colleagues in Blandford, the reception colleagues and everyone have been fantastic. Thank you. - Aiden.

Negative experience: If you get referred here by 111 then get ready to be treated like an animal. They have you in and out in as quick as possible and don’t really care about how you are. I went here for treatment to only be put in more pain, then had to go back the following day. I rang the dentist the following day to explain that since treatment it’s made me worse, which they replied they have no space and to ring 111. After 2nd lot of treatment I asked if I had to pay again as it was the same tooth that they had made worse which I was told ‘If you rang direct here we’d have gotten you in for free’ which I did but got turned away and directed to 111, so I had to pay again for the issue that they made worse.

Negative experience: Lack of communication. Asked me to sign the NHS form and charged me without telling me anything. After the procedure was completed I was then informed that I would have to pay for band 3 and band 2. This is not fair as everything in band 2 is already covered in band 3. Which I have already paid for. When I paid for the deposit, I even asked if it’s for band 3 and the receptionist said yes it’s for band 3!! I’ve spoke the manager who has informed me that she can’t do anything as it’s “NHS process”. And tried to force me to pay for the rest. How is that my fault!!! Also the service is not good, they did not do a good job either. Just feel like something weird in my mouth all the time after put the crown on. They also kept postpone my appointment in the last minute, one time that I was there already but the appointment was cancelled and I did not receive anything!! How bad!!! This is an incredible waste of my time which also resulted in me losing hours at work. AVIOD!!!

The practice was very friendly and the Dentist, Ben, was friendly, thoughtful and extremely professional. Considering this was an emergency appointment, I have never felt so relaxed at any dentist appointment- even when I went regularly to.dentists over my 70 years. So grateful, thank you. Fantastic experience: Having suffered from dental phobia for over 30years I was extremely nervous on my first visit but the dentist put me at ease, listened to my concerns and completed the treatment pain free therefore making my next visit a lot less stressful.

Negative experience: So 3 years ago I was sent to here via the hospital for an emergency appointment as I had a severe abscess where at least 50% of my face was swollen I attended the appointment im sure it was on or around the 3rd of march 3 years ago to have my teeth examined then asked one question am I paying for the appointment where I said no im on universal credit and this is an emergency appointment to then be fully lied to by being told I had to go to hospital to have my Teeth removed and thats it was not possible for the dentist to be able to his words impossible well 3 years on ive had all procedures done guess where not in a hospital but in a dentist with no issues what so ever the only issue that was seen was how I was left after my emergency appointment in the state I was in with all my teeth left in to rot a cause more health problems but the dentist managed to get the teeth out 2 to be precise and put fillings in others one of the teeth that had fillings I was also told I would have to have removed by the Blandford branch im reviewing here was completely faulse in what they told me I was pushed to one side as im a benefit user and lied to to make me go the procedures were finally done by a practice called MyDentist they are absolutely amazing and I would urge anyone thats reading this to look else where from here I could have been left with serious issues and well I was in a certain extent and all because I wasn’t paying and I am currently going through the process to see where I stand legally after being fobbed of lied to and and left to get a lot worse 3 years on because of discrimination of my financial state and I will be screenshotting this to make sure that this review doesn’t get took down people need to know some truths I was quiet for 3 years until I found out I was lied to and sent away to get worse and worse

Negative experience: Absolutely Shocking. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Only given an hours notice for the first cancellation, citing an emergency. Then a second cancellation the following week with 24 hours notice. Citing another emergency. Had the cancellation been the other way round, I am sure they would be trying to charge a cancellation fee. If this is how they treat their private patient's, I dread to think how they treat any NHS ones.

Positive experience: I felt that the dentist understood my concerns and gave me options for treatment. Took away those old dental fears.

Fantastic experience: The full package from entering the reception the staff are cheerful, helpful and respond well to all types of people. Moving from there to the dentist and assistant i found them both to be professional and courteous with the room being very higenic.

Positive experience: I have been coming to Diplomat House for many years and seen lots of different dentists come and go but now we have Rishi Rishi is absolutely a fantastic Dentist. I am a very nervous patient but he makes you feel at ease and is so professional with his treatment. The receptionist is very polite and the dental nurse was very efficient. Negative experience: Had many appointments cancelled before and during Covid, understandable. But after Covid, every appointment I booked was cancelled (the conveniently don't have a record of these ones) so they archived me. On trying to get another appointment they informed me that as I was archived, I couldn't have an NHS appointment and they didn't have any appointments anyway. Then in the next breath, they informed me that I could register as a private patient and they would have space for me then!! I queried that they said they were full and had no appointments to which the reply was, we always have space for paying customers! So in this area, I have no choice but to go private, I won't be doing it here though!

Positive experience: Had an emergency appointment on Wednesday 31st May with not a good outcome, booked another appointment through NHS Dental and had another appointment on 2nd June with the same dentist, better outcome, treated better this time, I thank you for that! Now a private patient, reasonable fees, friendly dentist and staff! All good!
