Fantastic experience: I usually visit the other Gentle Dental practice on Wickham Road, but recently I had to have a tooth extraction here with the oral surgeon, Sadia Ahmad. I am an extremely nervous patient, and I’m so grateful for the painless treatment I received. From the start, Sadia was incredibly reassuring and informative, explaining everything clearly. Her technique was so gentle and efficient that my tooth was out in no time. The dental nurse was wonderfully supportive throughout, and the receptionist was warm and welcoming too. Fantastic experience: I recently completed a course of scaling and root planing treatment with Dr Mish Sachdev at Gentle Dental Care, and I am so glad I finally went ahead with it after putting it off for years. From the initial consultation, Dr Mish was reassuring. The treatment was carried out over two sessions and, thanks to the careful use of local anaesthetic, it was completely pain-free. I was initially worried I would not be able to eat properly afterwards, but the discomfort was very minimal, nothing like having a tooth extracted, and I was back to normal far sooner than expected. I also had some chips to my teeth, which were well taken care of by one of Dr Mish’s colleagues (Dr Ram Laxmikanthan) at the practice. It was great to have everything dealt with in one place, and the team really worked together to resolve all my dental concerns in a holistic and efficient way. I attended four hygienist appointments afterwards, which were very helpful in improving my brushing technique and maintaining the results. My gums feel much healthier and I have noticed fresher breath and less bleeding since. Everyone at the practice, from the reception team to the dental assistants, was warm, professional and supportive. If you are anxious about scaling and root planing, don’t be. Dr Mish and the Gentle Dental Care team will take the time to answer all your questions and ensure your comfort at every stage.

As well as educating me about implant and periodontal specialist treatments, Dr Mish also gave me valuable advice that I can also implement into everyday practice as a general dentist myself. Fantastic experience: I have been going to Gentle Dental Care for a while now. I have had numerous of treatments and the teams that they have are incredible and make you feel so much at ease you forget where you are at. I have had my general work and crowns done by my normal dentist Dr.Avi who is faultless in what he does, I have had a root canal done by Dr.Ahmed, which I was dreading, but Dr.Ahmed is a magician as I felt nothing. Recently I saw Dr.Mish about an implant and right from the get go he was very open and I felt like I understood my options and I wasnt forced to make a decision as other options were on the table and Dr.Mish talked through all these options with me putting my mind at ease. Everyone I have encountered in the Dental Practices from Dental Nurses such as Carla right through the the receptionist such as Tracy make you feel welcomed and that nothing is too much and everybody makes you feel at ease. I couldn’t recommend the Gentle Dental Prsctices enough.

Fantastic experience: My treatment at Gentle Dental had been nothing short of fantastic. From the moment I first stepped in, I’ve been looked after. Dr Mish and the team have always been thoroughly professional, communicating clearly what needs to happen and what I need to do at home regarding use of electric toothbrush. The treatment they have given me had been first class, leaving me with healthy gums for the first time in a long while. They have also been really clear of the next steps. They are also extremely reassuring, putting my comfort and care first, making sure I have all the information I need beforehand and not doing anything if I’m not comfortable with it. Fantastic experience: The service at the Gentle Dental Care clinic has been superb. The surgent S. Ahmad is without a doubt the best oral surgent I have ever encountered. She is very skilled and the surgery went incredibly well. No pain whatsoever during the surgery and no pain or bleeding in the following days. Aftercare was exceptional as well, I had a few questions and Dr Mishal Sachdev was available on that day and received me promptly at the clinic and answered all my questions. I couldn't be happier. I already booked an appointment with their hygienist. I'll be going to them from now on. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: I was referred to Gentle Gum Care by my own dentist to treat my advanced gum disease. Following a very informative consultation my course of treatment was fully explained. I have now had my 2 intense gum treatments which Dr Mish carried out in a gentle and professional manner, whilst ensuring I was as comfortable as the treatment was carried out. Following the procedures Nancy carefully went through cleaning management to ensure the treatments outcome is successful. I would recommend Gentle Dental care to family and friends.

Fantastic experience: II have been a patient of Kamlesh for over 25 years.His professionalism,commitment and quality of care has been exemplary. Over the years I have had two lots of implants.They are sturdy and helped my dental mechanics. Recently my care was taken over by his son Mich who found that I have periodontal disease of the gums.Failure to treat would cause loss of teeth. He planned an effective &pain Free treatment . He explained the entire treatment in detail using visual pictures of my x rays and scans. It was a team effort comprising of specialist hygienist Amna and Monica specialist dentist. I was provided with interdental Toopi brushes and special floss. A session on using these devices along with correct brushing technique was part of the training. I have religiously followed it to date. I am pleased to endorse that my gum scoring have significantly improved. Future plan is to have regular sessions with hygienist Amna and 3 monthly follow up with Mich. It's definitely saved my teeth. Mich is following in his father's footsteps of providing most advanced and state of the art dental care.

Fantastic experience: Dr Mish and his team are incredible! I'm a really nervous patient, and I'm Autistic and have ADHD which can make appointments and treatment quite challenging. Dr Mish explained the issue with my gums and my treatment options. I opted to have complete sedation to complete my treatment and was quite anxious on the day but I really couldn't have been in better hands. My partner was equally impressed with the care I received, and as a nervous patient himself would have no qualms in approaching Gentle Dental Care for treatment.

I originally trawled the online reviews for dental clinics in S.E London and after careful consideration chose Gental Dental Care. I've been a patient for a few years now, and they've surpassed my very high expectations every time. Gum Masters: Their gum specialist surgeons [I had Mish and Dr Victoria] are exceptional and are academically recognised as amongst the best in the UK. They're true masters! I had some significant gum issues and their huge experience and skill meant they not only diagnosed them accurately and nailed the root cause and solutions, but also offered me a range of very well thought-out treatment options. They prioritised saving my teeth whenever possible, which I really appreciated. The multi-stage gum surgery was an incredibly smooth affair, minimal discomfort during and after. Thats when I realised the quality of the specialist that I had and that I had made the right choice. My gums have never been healthier! Cost-Conscious Care: I have had gum treatments and root canal procedures by the amazingly competent and skilled Dr Ali as well as other treatments with their private clinics. The whole team is incredibly transparent about costs. They explained each option clearly, including the most budget-friendly solutions. Not only does she get my teeth sparkling clean, but always gives me personalised advice on how to maintain excellent oral hygiene. They've helped me develop a routine that keeps my teeth in the best possible shape. Gentle Touch: For someone who used to dread dental visits, Gentle Dental Care has been a game-changer. Their gentle approach puts even the most anxious patient like me at ease. Procedures I used to fear were completed with minimal discomfort – a huge win! Dentures Done Right: I recently took my 83-year-old mother to their private denture clinic, and she's thrilled with her new smile! The dentures look incredibly natural. They took her impressions multiple times to get them right. Then with multiple trial fittings and tweaks all covered by the fixed cost we had agreed to. The cost was fixed, but the effort they expend to do it right is not.. they keep going until the job agreed is completed successfully. In short, I am not easily impressed or simply grateful for reasonable standards, Gental Dental Care have truly surpassed expectations and transformed my dental experience, with a huge positive impact on my overall health too.

Fantastic experience: I would give 10* if I could. Everyone is so nice and lovely at this practice. The doctor was highly professional and did everything he could to calm my nerves. I was shaking like jelly, felt extremely nervous as I never had a tooth being taken out before. I had no reason to be so scared as they are really gentle and know what they doing. Fantastic experience: Hi I'm Nancy, Just I would like to share with you my experiences with after having some Dental implants abroad. I went to Colombia (my home country) to do my tooth implant thinking that I would save money, this was a big mistake. Yes I spend some time with my family, but for nearly 2 weeks a could not enjoy my food and the sunny days outside. Then I have to return to Colombia to finish the job, after 3 months to make sure the implant was strong enough to hold the teeth, but I needed to stay in Colombia for at least 3 weeks , which it was difficult for me to take that time off from work plus the tickets and more the money to spend there , I realise that I was spending even more money than was expected! So I decided to stay and finish the implant here in the UK. A good friend of mine recommended me an expert Implant dentist in Elephant and Castle ......it was the most terrible experience that I never been through - I lost £600 , he couldn't put the teeth on the implants. Then I went to Gentle Dental Care in Croydon with not much hope and mentally shocked for my experience with the other dentist. Dr Mish gave me so much comfort and also the whole team, after having a detailed 3D X-ray. Dr Mish explain to me what was happened in a very clear way that I ask him if he could finish the job. In just 3 appointments in a gentle and professional manner not just with my mouth but also with the trauma for my previous experience Dr Mish was willing to perfect finish the job. Now I'm able to eat and enjoy my food and smile with confidence. I don't have the exactly words to express how grateful I am with Gentle Dental Care! I had some veneers with them 8 years ago and I wish I’d just stuck with them from the start.

Fantastic experience: My experience at Gentle Dental Care has been extremely positive. Their treatment and service is exceptional. Dr Mish, was carrying out my treatment, and was very efficient and completed my treatment within a space of 2 weeks due to the urgency. Really happy with the service and outcome of the treatment.

Fantastic experience: Mish carried out a tooth inplant procedure in March 23 (Stage 1 & Stage 2). I was pleased that it was not painful or particularly onerous. I did not need to take any pain killers after the treatment. After following Mish's detailed instructions the implant area was able to be eaten on normally after two weeks. The final stage will be the fitting of my new tooth, which will take place in due course. The procedure was completed successfully. I then commenced a second implant which is in progress and will be finalised in January 2024. Very pleased with the treatment. I will recommend Gentle Dental to my friends.

Fantastic experience: Mish was meticulous in his planning keeping me informed throughout the whole process. The implant procedure itself was very smooth and painless. After some buzzing sensation, the implant was in. Mish showed an x-ray of the implant to confirm the precise and accurate positioning of the implant. All-in-all, am very happy that Mish was able to position the implant in the exact area planned. Mish had previously explained that due to limited space, the placement had to be exact in order not to impact the surrounding teeth,. Thanks for a great job Mish

Fantastic experience: Referred to this practice by my dentist for specialist treatment. Highly recommend them. Mr Ali took the time to explain everything fully. Was in the chair for 5 hours in total over a couple of appointments. Very attentive throughout and very happy with the end result.

Fantastic experience: I have been under the care of Gentle Dental Care for nearly 10 years. My dentist referred me to the Complex Care dentist within the team for the extraction of a cracked back tooth. The procedure was carried out with exceptional care and expertise. The dentist was very gentle and explained in detail to me everything that he was going to carry out. The dental nurses were also very helpful and skilled. Overall it was a very positive experience. I would recommend the team very highly.

Negative experience: Just a warning so you don't make same mistakes as me they won't let you know how much will cost u an implant until you spend £500 on X-Rays , the cost of each implant will be £4000 after the shock i tried to get finance from them but i got declined Even though im a VAT payer and i got good credit score . Basically i wasted my time . Hope this review will help people to save their money My advice is that you go to Spain to do this treatment which is what im planing to do now

Fantastic experience: I've received the best specialist service at Gentle Dental Care with treatment of bleeding gums and bone loss. My teeth deteriorated during lockdown and my front teeth moved. I was given excellent advice during consultations and went onto receive a tailored gum treatment program with hygienist care and bone recrafting called bone regeneration by periodontist Dr Mish. My gums have grown stronger and healthier so now I am able to progress on to having my teeth straighten with Invisalign given by Dr Avi.

Procedure was challenging, due to the deterioration of the tooth. Dr. Mish Sachdev was professional, considerate and placed me immediately at ease. Fantastic experience: I've just completed 4 stages of periodontal surgery with Dr Mish, and I couldn't be happier with the results. Dr Mish and his assistant explained the procedure from start to finish and my experience was exactly what they promised. The treatments were painless and 'gentle'. Fantastic experience: Attended Gentle Dental today for a tooth extraction. Reception and waiting area very welcoming, homely and relaxing. Dr Mish and his colleague Imaan were great, explained the process to me throughout and were very professional. Took my partner for support and he was looked after by Stevie on Reception with coffee while he waited and Dr Mish included him on aftercare and advise for me. Both of us very impressed with the treatment, care and attention to detail.

Fantastic experience: My experience of Gentle Dental Care ,has been a very positive one. They live up to their name. Dr Mish, is carrying out my treatment. I had injections and 2 extractions. I can honestly say i did not have any pain or discomfort. Dr Mish ,is highly skilled and works with calm confidence,which in turn made me feel less anxious. I feel secure and comfortable going ahead with getting implants. I highly recommend this practice & staff who are all kind & helpful.

Fantastic experience: After getting an emergency appointment with them, the whole team from the receptionist, nurses and dentists showed me that I was in the right place for my care. I have since been back for fillings and extractions and I wasn't let down!! They were pain free and took the time to explain the procedures, options and costings. Fantastic experience: I have been seeing Dr Mish and his team regarding my treatment of gum disease. Throughout the process, Dr Mish explained what to expect and gave thorough detail. Before my first treatment with Dr Mish, I was quite anxious to the point where my sleep was disturbed. It turned out there was no need to be so worried. I was given a suitable amount of anaesthesia so I couldn’t feel much, and I was talked through how the procedure would work. Dr Mish explained what he was doing and why during the procedure, which I found particularly helpful as someone keen to understand why I am undergoing certain treatment. I’m pleased with how my teeth are recovering and the support from the dental nurses, hygienists and receptionists, all of who are friendly and reassuring.

Fantastic experience: Felt very anxious yesterday, as I have been nervous all my life about going to the dentist. After the pain free injection I felt relaxed. All staff were professional and explained everything. Great oral hygiene instructions given. Not at all anxious about my next appointment. I definitely experienced gentle dental care.

Fantastic experience: I have been using gentle dental for several years and always had great experience with them. From the reception staff to the dentist.. In particular Dr faisal has been treating me and my family for a long time.. Dr faisal goes above and beyond to treat our dental issues with care. Recently I had a health issue and therefore everything changed for me. I have to be careful with my dental treatment. I needed a tooth extraction done and Dr Faisal reffered me to a dental specialist from Gentle Dental.. Dr Mish took on the responsibility. As I was anxious, I had a consultation before my extraction. I asked many questions and Dr Mish answered all of them and reassured me. On the extraction day Dr Mish successfully took out the tooth. Just after the extraction the assistant was with me while my bleeding stopped. She was friendly and very caring. Dr Mish even kept in touch after the extraction to make sure I am ok and its healing. It was a worrying time for me but Dr Faisal, Dr Mish and all the staff was first class. Thank you and hope Gentle Dental continues providing first class service.. M

Fantastic experience: I was referred by my Dentist to see Mish. When I found out that I could possibly loose my teeth because of gum disease it made me realise how bad my gums were. I needed specialist gum treatment and had to have 2 sessions of Active Disinfection with Mish. I was very scared about having this done. Please don't be scared, I felt no pain at all and had the very best treatment and care. I thought this treatment would be so painful and it really wasn't at all. The aftercare with the Hygienist Aziz was excellent. Very kind and very professional and very good at his job. Thank you for saving my teeth. Highly recommend Gentle Dental Care.

Fantastic experience: Attended Gentle Dental Care, 391 Wickham Road, Croydon for an extraction upper left. My tooth was rotten and had a high chance of breaking which I was warned about however I was in alot of pain. I was seen by Dr Mish Sachdev. He explained everything from top to bottom before proceeding. I don't like dentists and was immediately put at ease. After I settled my nerves I can say that Dr Mish and his assistants were amazing, and after a time which seemed longer than it was, he managed somehow to wriggle my tooth free without it breaking. I cant thank him enough as I was as nervous as hell. Thank you all again very much.

Fantastic experience: Joined a few months ago after a tooth came apart and needed an implant. Every time I visit the team are super friendly and happy to support in any way they can. They went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable and understood everything. Once my implant was done it looked incredible, it fits in perfectly and is impossible for others to tell which tooth is the implant. Couldn't recommend highly enough.

Fantastic experience: Honestly what a team Reception was wonderful really nice calm and chatty with me -thank you guys Went for a root canal filling what a wonderful man, so nice explaining everything showed me the issues and I didn’t feel a thing In the end I ended up having to have the tooth removed I can honestly say I was a tearful nervous wreck, anxiety kicked in along with tears, the dentist was amazing, in all honesty the scary stories I had heard were rubbish, tooth removed and I’m back in work, the team were fantastic all of them. I would honestly recommend them and if I ever had to have another tooth removed I could actually say it’s ok nothing like what I thought it would be. Thank you all so much x

I'm not fond of dentists but this practice dealt with me very sensitively. The procedures were carried out professionally and the after care has been exceptional. Fantastic experience: Just had a gum treatment which I was dreading, but really pleased with the results. Made me very aware how important it is to look after them better and improve my daily routine. No more bleeding or redness. Regular hygiene appointments needed but these too are pain free. Would recommend, a great Team along side Mish and Bardia, all very friendly and efficient, and as the name suggests gentle too.

Fantastic experience: I am taking some dental treatment which includes extraction, grafting gums and eventually a dental implant. So far the treatment has gone well and I am impressed by the care that I have received. Gentle Dental Care is a very professional and friendly practice. Doctors and staff are very skilled and experienced and have created a nice happy environment to take care of patients. During the extraction of my tooth and grafting the gum I was very comfortable and relaxed and did not feel any kind of pain. Dr Mish Sachdev who looks after me is an excellent communicator and highly qualified. I highly recommend the practice to those who need a hassle free dental treatment.

Fantastic experience: I moved to Gentle Dental Care about 18 months ago to be within walking distance from my home rather than driving to my previous dentist in Purley. I saw Dr Mish several times since then for periodontal treatment for my severe gum disease, teeth extraction, temporary denture, and implants with bone-grafting. Finally I had a bridge of new five teeth on the implants installed by Dr Bardia last month. I now feel I have real teeth - no longer troublesome when food went under my denture and far less food struck between teeth, no more removing and cleaning the denture nightly and no worrying about forgetting to put on my denture when I go out. It is very convenient. I am pleased with the treatments which were painless. I never had any pain when numbness disappeared so no need for any pain killer. A big thank you to Dr Mish, Dr Bardia and their nurses. I am also well looked after by my hygienist Petra each quarter.
