Fantastic experience: After 30 years with my previous private dental practice in North London, after moving to North Herts; I was quite hesitant to move practice, but I am glad I did. Mark Vernon is extremely skilled and has recently built up my teeth with veneers that most importantly benefit my dental health in terms of strength and functionality, but also has enhanced the aesthetics of my smile. A great balance with such attention to detail that is not easy to find. Quite hard to find suitable appointment timings if you work full time, but testament to how busy Mark and team are.

Fantastic experience: Two molar repairs were completed today by the highly professional dental teams working at the Vernon practice. The dentists and support nurses provided a painless and professional repair to my damaged teeth using their in-house scanning and 3D printing tools to photograph and manufacture my tooth crowns and fit them within the same appointment, saving me both time and money. I was thoroughly impressed by his professionalism, knowledge, and truly exceptional bedside manner, which I believe is the best I have ever experienced. As a nervous patient, I greatly appreciated how he clearly explained the issues to me without being condescending, all while remaining courteous and approachable. I cannot recommend Mr. Raveendran highly enough for his outstanding care.

Fantastic experience: Dr Vernon is a very friendly and professional dentist. I was having issues with my wisdom teeth recently and I was quite concerned about having to remove them but Dr Vernon had given me reassurance that I shouldn't be worried about removal and gave me helpful advice on how to manage it without having to remove them for now, he told me that a routine hygienist visit will help so I have booked that with the practice. I also had my teeth removed by him a few years back for an orthodontic treatment (this was done elsewhere) I was quite worried and anxious as I had an issue in the past when I had my tooth removed. Dr Vernon made the process smooth and fast, and gave my reassurance during the tooth removal that it went by so quick without me hardly feeling anything. I couldn't recommend him more as a dentist to anyone. In addition to this, the rest of his team and receptionists are also very kind and welcoming and have always been helpful when arranging appointments. Thank you! :)

Positive experience: Although Mark is a great dentist I was promised a call back after I noticed some of the veneer has come off my tooth, I was told to send a photo and i will get a call back. However, after 2 days no one got back to me I had to call again, i was very very disappointed. At the time my teeth were really sensitive after a hygiene procedure so to me as a customer it was urgent, the fact that your emails get ignored in two occasions. The same happened when I cancelled my appointment by email and asked if they could please acknowledge my email, that was ignored again. I had to call & leave 2 messages as I didn't realise they were closed then my husband had to call again in the morning to confirm the cancellation.....

Fantastic experience: I hate dentists, I've seen too many of them over the years, and most of my experiences have been bad. Sometimes it's my own fault, diving into the swimming pool and chipping my tooth, but other times I've just had bad advice coupled with poor results. As a result, I try and stay away from dentists in general and so my expectations were low. I was more than pleasantly surprised when walking into Vernon, firstly the bright and clean reception area, the friendly welcome, not having to wait past my appointment time to be seen, it all gave a good first impression. Then when sitting in the chair the old feeling of dread returned, but I was in good hands with Mike De Nooijer, he was calm, reasonable, didn't cross sell anything I didn't ask for and treated me as a client, rather than his next victim. This is my first foray into private rather than NHS dental treatment, and perhaps that is the difference, but I just think that perhaps they just care more.

Fantastic experience: My treatment with Mr Gajen Raveendran on 4th December 2024 went very well and without any pain. I was advised to take painkillers afterwards but only took some as a precaution before going to bed later that night. I only have slight discomfort this morning. Alan Oliver.

As someone who dislikes going to the dentist due to previous experiences at other practices, I felt completely at ease the entire time. Fantastic experience: I can't recommend Vernon Dental Practice highly enough. I was quoted over £4000 by another practice in the town for work I allegedly needed. However, Helen Eldret reassured me that the work was not needed, but I needed other relatively minor treatment which was not identified by the other practice (I do not believe in "naming and shaming") . The total cost £495 as opposed to £4000! Helen was very professional, and explained everything clearly, no hesitation in recommending her.

He recommended a session with Kim, the hygienist, and she was equally welcoming and did a very thorough and painless job.
